Given my own experience with this new firmware as well as the positive comments above from other members, I think that this is a pretty stable firmware.
You should not need to downgrade, nor do I believe that Cisco recommends this. However, should you need / desire to do so, the original firmware can still be downloaded using the following link:

In case you haven't noticed there is a new version of the Java Enterprise System that was posted to the Sun Download site on Friday September 1, 2007. The new release is Java ES 5 Update 1.

This release is mainly a maintenance release, with lots of bug fixes. But there are a few new and interesting features included also. One, is the inclusion of the Sun Java System Application Server 9.1. It is not included in the main Java ES installer, but can be downloaded separately. All of the Java ES 5 Update 1 component products that require a web container have been certified to work with Sun Java System Application 9.1.The Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 is based on the GlassFish open source application server. You will be able to download it in mid-September. I will update the links when it is available.
Another interesting feature is the inclusion of Service Tags. Service Tags are digital identifiers that can be embedded in software or firmware and that holds a small amount of product information. In my entry on Sep 5, 2007 7:34 AM with the topic of "New Release: Java ES 5 Update 1", I incorrectly stated that Sun Application Server 9.1 was certified with Java ES 5 Update 1. It is not. The fully certified and supported web containers are listed in the Java ES 5 Update 1 Release Notes. For now, it is not supported by Java ES 5 Update 1 component products, but future releases of Sun middleware products will, so hang tight. I do apologize for any inconvenience. The official documentation at docs.sun.com should always be considered the source for what is supported and what is not.

AME will not update to the new release

AME will not update to the new release. Tried from the help menu in both AME and Premiere. It Fails each time I try. Is this a known issue. I was not able to update AE or Premiere from the CC app manager. I had to update those both from the update item in the help menus of each program. What is going on?

There are two steps in patching via creative cloud or from within the application.
1. download the patch
2 apply the patch

I did run into download issue yesterday where CC tried to download patches for a few apps at the same time and it failed to download. I suspect the servers that patches reside on were busy. When I tried it a few hours later, it worked.

Error while creating new release groups in PO release strategy

Hi All
I was creating a release procedure for PO and after completing steps, Create Characteristic and Create class & while creating new release grp with the class created i am not able to save it and the error message is (ME492) is" Only one release class should be used within the release groups for overall release...".
But i am able to create from an already existing CLASS and able to proceed further.( Note: I am using the training module and in the learning stage.)

The plugin shows on the list as enabled and functioning, yet the tool does not show on the toolbar. It would appear that I need to restore the previous version of Firefox and wait until a newer release of the plugin is available before upgrading the browser.

I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!"

New Release list/Music - Is there a way to alphabetize the list?

Until this month, the list of new releases (text columns) were always sorted by the store in an alphabetical order format. For some reason, the list is no longer sorted this way or any other particular way. Have any of you customers found a way to sort the comprehensive list in an effort to return it to an alphabetical array? Unfortunately, it does not seem manually possible to do this from my observations so far.

Currently, there's no option to alphabetize Faces, other than dragging them around manually.
Photos, in general, has few options for sorting. I hope that changes soon...
