New router can't get connection and can't find set up on macbook
I had to have a new router as i had problems with my internet solved internet problems but now my printer doesnt work unless i connect with usb cable, i have tried everything including deleting the printer, which now i have deleted the set up info off my macbook and can no longer install the printer please help it was working fine with my other router...
Hey , Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here. I see that you have replaced your router and are having some difficulties with connecting your Deskjet F4580 to the network. I can help you with that. As you are using Macintosh 10.7 I would recommend using a Windows PC to install the printer on and then to add to your wireless network. If that is not a practical option there are a couple of things we could try. Apple Software UpdateClick on your Apple Icon and go to Software Updates.Install any available updates.Download Apple's HP Printer drivers.If during the install there are no wireless options then:Go to your Apple icon, System Preferences, and Print and Scan.Double-click on the icon of your printer on the left side of this screen.In the pop up window click on Settings, Utility, and then Open Printer Utility.In this new window you should have a wireless tab along the top you can click on.On the left hand side we're looking for a wireless setup wizard.Run the wireless setup wizard to add the printer to your wireless network.Once the printer is connected remove the USB cable from the back of the printer.Go back to Apple, System Preferences, Print and Scan.Click on the plus button in the bottom left corner.Select your printer in this window.If there is a line that says Use that says Airprint click on that to select your printer from the list instead.Click on Add.Try printing.Ad-HocIf the above method does not allow you to connect the printer wirelessly then this may work.Perform a factory reset on the printer. I will include the directions on how to do that in a private message shortly.Turn the printer back on.Press the wireless button on the front of the printer.Wait about a minute.On your Mac or another wireless device you should see a network with a name similar to "HP Print XX Deskjet F4500" listed. Connect to that network.Press and hold the scan button (printer icon below the red x on the printer) for about ten seconds. When you release the printer should print a wireless test report.On the device you connected to the printer open a web browser and type the IP Address in the Address Bar exactly as it appears on the test report.You should have a Network tab along the top of this window.On the left side we are looking for a Wireless Setup Wizard.When you run that that should connect the printer to your wireless network.Once the printer is connected remove the USB cable from the back of the printer.If you connected your Mac to the printer above then reconnect the printer to your wireless network now.Go back to Apple, System Preferences, Print and Scan.Click on the plus button in the bottom left corner.Select your printer in this window.If there is a line that says Use that says Airprint click on that to select your printer from the list instead.Click on Add.Try printing.If this helps connect your printer to your wireless network then please let other forum users know by clicking on Accept as Solution below my post. Hello. I have an iPod Touch 5G with iOS 7.0.4 I suppose. I was locked out due to forgotten passcode, so I had to reset factory settings. When the new user guide screen came on, it said "Please sign in with the account used on this iPod, which is m*******@yahoo.com", I know that is my old account and I know the email username and password to it. When I log in, it says "disabled for security reasons". I make new accounts but it wont let me use in towards my iPod. I can't get in my account because I can't get in my email!!! Is there a way to make a NEW account on the iPod when I just restarted it with these please sign in with the acc---blahblah?
You are running into the Activation lock and you need to enter the Apple ID and password for the account last used on the iPod.

RE2000 can't establish connection and can't be reset
Last week I bought two Linksys RE2000 Wireless Extenders. I manually configured them with the RJ45 cable provided and the lights were solid green. Both worked perfectly until I had to reconfigure my router.
I had to reconfigure the Extenders as well, I did the same manual steps and plugged one back in because it was solid green. The other extender however won't establish a connection with the RJ45 connected to the laptop so I tried resetting it (holding the reset button for 10 seconds).
I tried connecting to the extender again and did a ipconfig /release and renew to make sure I was getting a DHCP IP from the extender like I did with the other one. Getting the default windows 169.254.x.x all the time. Resetted the extender a couple more times. Tried different RJ45 cables. Green light keeps blinking and can't make a connection.
I figured it might have been the laptop so I connected the extender to the router and manually looked for a DHCP lease there so I could connect to it. Also tried a different computer.
No luck on those options, I have the feeling something is up with the second extender, but I don't know what.Hi, how many seconds did you reset the RE2000? Reset should be at least 30 seconds and then do a power cycle at least a minute or 2. You can try to use another computer in setting up the 2nd Re2000 to isolate the problem.

Firefox Crash Report LOOP - can't get out and can't launch Firefox

I have a Firefox problem. I've actually already read all the solutions I could find so far, on another tech site, that seem to be related to my particular problem and tried them all, but I'm still having a glitch of some kind. So, forgive me if I am a bit long-winded here, and I'll try to "nutshell" down what I've done, but would like all I've experienced and tried to at least be in one starting place. Hope you will stick with me, as I've tried a lot of stuff.
I was in the middle of reading an email when Firefox just closed itself. I've never had that happen before, ever.I tried to reopen and got the Crash Report dialog.
I tried rebooting and relaunching FFox, but still got the Crash Report dialog, so I went onto the net via IE and looked it up. Bsed on what I found, I thought, okay, I'll try reinstalling -- I had previously tried the beta for FFox's newest version and didn't like it, and when I uninstalled it, had lost my install files for 3.6.16 as well, so downloaded that again and tried to reinstall over the old. No go.
Tried to uninstall, then, using the built-in FFox uninstaller, followed by Total Uninstall as a backup effort (Total Uninstall has always been a good program in past). Total Uninstall froze in the middle of its progress bar, no matter how many times I tried it.
I decided to try a System Restore. That did not change anything. Although I got no longer got a Crash Report dialogue, FFox still would not launch.
Since I'd done a Restore, I decided to try to install once more. The install wouldn't proceed, and I got a message that an Uninstall was still in progress and that I needed to reboot. So I did.
After the reboot, I tried the reinstall again -- and got the same message. Tried it twice more, but I was in a loop.
Went back to the tech site I'd found and read about how to "uninstall Firefox completely" and went through those steps, then rebooted once more.
Tried to reinstall again, and this time the reinstall performed all the way through -- but when I tried to launch FFox, I got the crash report again -- so was back to Square One with no clue what to do.
I posted a question re this (basically the same thing I'm writing here, without this latest bit) on the tech site, and received some advice. First part of the advice was to do what I'd already done. Second part mentioned a couple more files to remove so as to completely uninstall FFox (including PreFetch, which I'd never heard of) and suggested I download 3.6.9 (I'd last tried 3.6.16) as it was known to be stable.
I did all these things, rebooted and installed --as far as I could tell -- 3.6.9. But at launch, I still get a Crash Report.
I even thought perhaps the problem involved profiles, although I have moved mine out of the line of fire and am saving it for when I get FFox running again -- please, soon! -- but anyway, I did try to run Profile Manager, and it won't run either.
Again, am back at square one without a clue of any kind how to proceed. I have no idea why FFox closed, either, as I haven't done anything unusual, and even confirmed that when I tried to do a Restore. Almost nothing was going to be affected. (But it didn't help anyway.)

Trying to FaceTime between iPad 2 and New iPad. They get connected and can see video on both ends. However, the New iPad cannot hear the iPad 2. The iPad 2 tried to FaceTime with an iPhone 4 with same results. Something is not set right on the iPad 2. Checked for anything covering the microphone. Anybody have an idea? Maybe bad microphone?
You can restore the Air's backup onto the Mini - if not already in your computer's iTunes library then copy them over from the Air via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (your iTunes downloads aren't included in a backup, the restore picks them up from your iTunes library).
Deleting an app off one iPad won't remove it from the other, and yes, when connected to your computer's iTunes they will show up as different devices (you can change the names that they show up as via Settings > General > About > Name) and what you subsequently sync to one of them won't be synced to other unless you choose to sync it.
If you will be using the same iCloud account on both then you can use Settings > iCloud to control whether your Safari bookmarks, contacts, calendars are kept in sync between the two. -
Hi, I’ve recently bought an iPad2 and can’t get connected with AppStore or iTunes, when I tap on these icons a grey page pops up saying is loading but never opens the page, no failure message is displayed, it just keep saying is loading.
Apparently it is not an issue with wifi since Safari, You Tube and Maps work well, I’ve tried some of the tips, e.g. log off/on my Id, change password but no one worked.

I have a apple component AV TV out cable (red, green,blue + red,white) and have had this connected to TV for about 6 months working fine. I moved the TV disconnected cables to move now I can only get video and no sound back on TV. Any suggestions ?

No future updates will be issued for non CC versions. For CS6, the last one (ever) is 16.0.5.
You can install it on 2 computers at a time, and you can deactivate and install on new computers as you wish. -

I have a theory. You don’t want to controll your car, you want to controll somebody who is driving the car. Volvo XC 60 is a nice family car, usually used by married men between age of 35-45, probably with small children, so it’s very unlikely that you want to controll your teanage kid, mainly because probably even if you would give him/her to drive the car in the neighborhoud, I don’t think that he/she would be „several hundred miles away”… If your child is not young teneage anymore, and he/she has his/her own life, but you want to control him/her, that is sick… So I am convinced that you want to controll your husband who probably travelling often! Am I wright?
