New Safari is missing the arrows to move back and forth

I have had to drop out of Safari and go to Chrome to have arrows back and forth on a web page....
They must be there, but where?

In the top Left hand corner next to the iCloud button, which is next to the search bar.

Is there a way to have Safari not reload the page when moving back and forth?

I really like being able to swipe back and forth in Safari, however when I do this, it reloads the page. Why? Can't it just used the cached content? I understand that my view my be 'outdated', but I could always manually refresh if I wanted to.
The reason I want this is because when you swipe back, it takes a few seconds before you can actually scroll the page while you wait for it to load, which is annoying

Might be a cache issue ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Missing in this equation were the version of Premiere Elements that you were using and the computer operating system on which it was running. But...
The deed is done. But.....Until now and after you went ahead and moved to version 12, we now learn what version of Premiere Elements you were using. We still do not know the computer operating system involved.
You just said Premiere Elements 10. Premiere Elements 10 is hit by a serious known display issue if the computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card. In this issue, the only remedy is to roll back the driver version to about May 2013. The description of the problem and how to do the roll back are described in one of the Announcements at the top of this forum. What video card/graphics card does your computer use?
On another front, Adobe will be releasing a new version of Premiere Elements any day now. No one but Adobe knows the feature set for the new version. That type of information is announced at the moment of release of the new version.
So the remedy to the problem that you presented in this thread could have been...
1. Rolling back the NVIDIA GeForce driver version to about May 2013 if possible (Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit, may not be possible)
2. Move to another version of Premiere Elements (which you did)
I offer the above for consideration so that you can review your decisions. We are pleased to learn that Premiere Elements 12/12.1 works for you.

Episode stops at one moment and the picture moves back and forth!

I have bought a series of 4 episodes. The first two were working just fine, but the 3rd one stops exactly at 5 minutes 30. in itunes, the picture starts moving back and forth and when i scroll to another point in the timeline, the image gets green or the episode is playing in high speed!? at about 10 minutes the video seems to start working again.
As far as i have seen, episode number 4 is working fine as well.
i installed the newest versions of itunes and quicktime but it didn't help
maybe something went wrong while downloading? if so, is there a possibility to redownload it somehow?

That's strange. Have you tested this with TextBox and a regular binding? Perhaps it's related to the TextChanged event firing to update the binding?

Getting an object to move back and forth

OK, at first this seemed like the easiest thing to do, but I've tried to make it work a number of different ways and nothing seems to work. I have a movie clip that I want to have constantly moving back and forth across the stage, basically "bounce" off the left and right sides. What's the best way to do this using AS2?

Nope, no AS, just a regular tween added between two keyframes. The tween is on the timeline of the movieclip, not on the main timeline. So, when the movie clip loads it automatically runs through it's own timeline. It gets bigger and bigger, then at the end of it's timeline the movieclip gets removed. The timeline seems to play properly because after a couple second the movie clip does get removed, it just doesn't get bigger. Why would having one movie clim move back and forth stop another movie clip from using it's tween?

Hi everyone there,
I get a headache position drift problem during the stepper motor controlled back and forth motion. I have been wroking on the problem for the last two weeks, and still can not figure it out. So I write down here my problem in hope of getting some clues from those have some experiences in stepper motor motion control.
My goal is to use a stepper motor to drive a beam flage fixed onto the shaft to go back and forth for a certain angle, and this back and forth motion needs to be stable and reproducible within hours. With the SMD1 stepper motor driver, I only need to send in a pulse train to control the number of steps(the pulse frequency defines the stepping rate), and another pulse to controle the direction (i.e., cw or ccw). To do this, in LabView, I used the counter of the DAQ board to produce a finite pulse train to step the motor, and used one digital line to produce a pulse to switch the direction every 500ms, the timing is contolled by the software.(I used the oscilloscope to monitor these two pulses, the pulse train produced by the counter looks very stable, and delay between the pulse edges of the direction pulse and the pulse train is also very stable within 500ms. There seems no software timing problems at such a long delay.) And this labview controlled motor appears to work perfectly as I required, the motor steps a defined number of steps at one direction, and then steps back at the origin position. But after running for a few minutes, the back position shifts gradually(I can not observe a obvious shift at the first few minutes) with repect to the origin position(the position I start running). I looked it up at the manual and also the website, I got a clue that this might because the motor steps at the resonace frequency of the motor and hence misses or takes extral steps sometimes. So I changed the steping rate from 1Hz to 1000Hz to see if the shift disappears or gets smaller at certain frequency range, but the shift always exists.
I did observe the shift got smaller within the same running time when change the step model from full step (1.8degree/step)to half and quarter step model. According to this, the motor did miss steps (or pulses) during running, the quarter step model has smaller shift due to the smaller steps. But I also noticed that the motor always shift at one direction, no matter I started with clockwise or counter-clockwise, this seems really strange to me. Because the motor should shift at each direction with the same probability if we assume the motor missis steps randomly.
There is something must be wrong, either the labveiw program or the motor, but I don't even know a clue of this weird shift problem. And because of this, I haven't made any progress in my lab for the last three weeks. So any suggestions could be very helpful for solving this headache and will be really appreciated.

Thanks for your quick response. "accel" and "decel" mean acceleration and deceleration, am I understanding right?
If yes, then I don't have these in my LabView program, I just generate one TTL pulse train and one TTL pulse with LabView and send them into the SMD1 stepper motor driver.
The pulse train steps the shaft, and the other switchs the direction.
Yesterday, I confirmed that if the motor steer always at one direction either CW or CCW, then the stepping were very stable, no missing or extra steps happen for hours.
And I also observed that the motor took one extra step from time to time when the direction changes. And this only happens when the direction switch from CW to CCW. (bizarre!)
I guess this indicates that some pulse noise happens when the motor switch the direction too often. But I just don't have any clue for irregular extra steps.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. The cursor keeps switching back and forth from arrow to arrow and hourglass. Why and how to fix it?

This is an occurrence that has just started and in the past it was my understanding that when the arrow and hourglass were being displayed together it indicated there was some activity in the computer, but of late it will switch from the pointing arrow to small arrow & hourglass when I am not touching anything or when writing a letter or something else it will switch without me doing anything to indicate that I am ready for it to do anything.

Try running a full virus scan. Maybe you have a virus/spyware/adware running in the background. You can hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and click on task manager and see what is running in the background as programs and processes. Click the button that says show all processes from all users.

Move back and forth between frames in a sequence.

I am developing a program that is a sequence with many frames (40 so far). In each frame there is a VI that I have created. Each of these VIs has an input terminal to which I wire a string constant that asks the user a question or gives the user a command. There are either one or two output terminals on these VIs. When there are two output terminals. The VI will feature two LEDs that signify either a true or false outcome. When there is one terminal, there is only one LED that signifies that the user has read and understands the command or instructions that were given. Their are basically three types of VIs:
1) In the first type, the user is required to enter a numeric answer and press a "next" button in response to the question in the string constant. At that point, the number entered is compared with a desired range or set of acceptable values.
2) In the second type, the user answers the question in the string constant by clicking either the "yes" button or "no" button.
3) In the third type, the user is required to enter a "next" button to acknowledge understanding or completion of the command that appears in the string constant.
I would like to create two additional buttons on each of these VIs. One that will move the program back to the previous frame in the sequence and another that will move the program forward to the next frame in the sequence. I basically need to create a "back" button and a "forward" button that will allow the user to advance or return to specific frames in the sequence without restarting the program.
I haven't the slightest clue how to do this. Can anyone help me out?

Don't use a sequence structure. You cannot move backwards to a previous sequence. Instead, use a state machine. Search for examples in Labview. Basically, a state machine is a case structure with some variable containing the next state wired to its input selector terminal. Each of your frames can be put into a case. Your code can decide which is the next case to call. A queue is excellent for holding the next case to be called. See the attached example for a Queued State Machine.
