New sleek photo won't cha

I just bought a new Zen Sleek Photo 20GB. It was a display model locked in a case. I can't get it to charge. I've tried a usb charger and a wall/car charger. Nothing I tried has worked. And I can't return it because I lost the receipt. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!
!!! (Not sure if it's important but the usb charger I used was a Belkin 30pin usb cable and the other charger was for a Sansa but it matched up to the zen.)

I have no idea what you are doing - folders in iPhoto do not hold photos - they only hold other folders or albums - and albums can be sorted manually - and again have no idea what you mean by you hade to "minimize the size" - adding photos to albums has nothing to do with their size
iPhoto is really easy - but does have a learning curve - under the help menu there is an iPhoto help section that contains several very good videos to helo you get started with learning iPhoto - the owuld be well worth the time to watch

Zen Sleek Photo won't turn

My Zen Sleek Photo won't turn on period. I'm kind of scared because I just bought it and finished getting all my music on it. I tried putting the charger in because that usually turns it on but that didn't work. I tried holding down the on button. I tried to access it from the computer with the USB cord and that didn't work. So if anyone has any help please tell me.

Try resetting it, with a paperclip (put it into the reset hole and you should feel a very small "button" to press with it).
Leave it charging for a while aswell, in case it has run completely out of power. If it still doesn't work after trying those two things, then I would definitely recommend contact Customer Support directly, as there could be a problem with the unit.

Zen Sleek Photo won't boot

I have just bought a used Zen Sleek photo and have been excited about getting it, but I was setting up some playlists in Windows media Player 0, I left the machine to sync and when I came back my Zen was off and now won't start up again. Is there a way to reset it or please please can anyone help with this, as I have so much stuff I want to listen to but the is now useless. I look forward to some words of wisdom. Hi Hypnoman,
The player does have a reset, you can press the button inside with a paperclip for instance. It should reboot (and reset) the player. Leave it charging for a while to make sure it has enough power to operate.
When happens when you try to start up the player?

Sleek photo won't transfer WMA fil

I have just got a sleek photo and went to transfer some of my music, but after the transfer appearing to work, it says 'not transfered-unknown error'. In fact, the ONLY file that transfered was one that was in MP3 format. I'm confused, any ideas?

Are they copy protected files? Try transfering with Windows Media Player.

Zen Sleek Photo Menu Flow Cha

Hi, I recently destroyed the LCD on my Zen Sleek Photo, but i can still operate the player, just blindly. I have gotten pretty good at it, but there are some sections which i can't guess at all, such as the drop down menu that controls things like random play and such. I was wondering if anyone has a flow chart image for the menus, or if someone would be so kind as to tell me where things are on the drop down menu, or at the very least, how to turn random play off, ie., press drop down, down 4, click, down , etc. Thanks alot!!
ah, by menus i mean the options drop down of course, as i have edited the main menu, and i have no clue whats there now hah. thanks again.

New project photos won't display.

I imported some vacation photos into Aperture Version 3.1.3 yesterday. They were imported directly into a new project I created After importing I could view the images and edit and delete. 12 hours later the project appears blank in that no thumbnails are displayed in either the project or in the Photos Library. When I hold the cursor over the project folder it provides a count of the versions in the project folder but no images are displayed. This has happened twice in 48 hours. Fortunately the images are still on the SD cards. Any guidance please?

Did you check to see if there is a filter activated?

Micro Photo won't cha

My MicroPhoto won't charge.
When I plug it into the computer the green battery flashes in the top right hand corner, but the blue light doesn't pulse. The computer can't even detect the player. I have tried using the wall charger, but this doesn't work either. I have tried re-installing the software, but that hasn't worked either. I have tried using three different USB cables, but none of them have made a difference. I have also tried locking the device, but that hasn't worked either. Can anyone help?

it shouldn't be so bloody difficult and frustrating to set up though. And what's with WMP0? Why is that needed? Its a dreadful piece of software.

I just bought a new Sleek Photo friday and while loading songs I noticed that it wasn't loading any longer. I unplugged the device and tried to turn it on but it wouldn't come on although the power button (blue light) is on. I don't know what to do at the moment and I need some help. ANY IDEAS?

That's true. These forums are more help from what I have seen. As to the battery being replaced, most of the time, under normal use, the battery lasts 2-3 years. The player hasnt been out that long, so it would be rare to find someone who has replaced it.
Does yours show any signs of battery problems?

Zen Sleek Photo catashro

I was uploading new mp3s to my new Sleek Photo when my PC locked up.
When I switched on the Sleek after the lockup, every track had vanished! I did a diagnostic reboot without success and finally had to reload it, which was a waste of time.
Anybody has an idea why Creative software is so fragile?

Zen Sleek Photo with no pow

I ordered a new Sleek Photo (even though I know it is an older model) less than six months ago and it recently starting losing power fast. I will leave it to charge overnight on the supplied charger. . . If I turn it on while it is plugged in it will show a full charge but as soon as I disconnect it the battery bar will go to less than half, but i usually got some good play time out of it so I didn't think about it. Now when I try to turn it on after charging it all night it will show me a low battery screen and will not go any further. Is there any remedy for this? or is this normal?

The batteries start dying as soon as they leave the factory, so if you buy an older model that has sat on a shelf for a long time, it will be nearer the end of its lifespan than a fresh one.
Not much you can do about it, except replace the battery, unfortunately.

No.
One of you create a new AppleID and one use the existing AppleID.
But you can still use the items in each iTunes library.
Create separate computer logins for each of you.
This will give you each your own data. Contacts, calendars, photos, etc. (and your own iTunes library).

Solution discovered. Faulty connector cable. Tried a different one and it worked.

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
