New software downloaded and now emails don't work?

Just downloaded new software and I can't get my emails to come through - keeps saying cannot connect to server? My hotmail account worked but my work email account (exchange) didn't? Any ideas?

Sorry to be basic - I know not too much about PCs unfortunately - but how do I run the diagnostic test ? If it is within iTunes then I can't do it as I can't open it in the first place, but if there is a different command I can use to run the diagnostics then please let me know it.
I have confused the issue somewhat as well - apologies. It is a new CD writer I have installed - not any sort of hard drive. My PC does have two hard drives installed as I added an additional one once I installed iTunes as it was overloading the memory. The two drives have been working fine in tandem since.
The new CD Writer replaces the original one from the PC which I suspect had grown old and tired. All I have done if physically put the CD Writer inside the PC box, and switched over the power cable and data cable from the (now redundant) old CD Writer, and in to the new one.
Hope that clarifies, and please let me know how to run the further testing you mention in order that I can post the results.

Then it went off completely and wiped everything.     I have not had wifi since November when I upgraded to the newest IOS version.  I called the Apple help line and they told me some things to do and I tried them all and they worked for a few hours and then wifi shut off again.  I kept doing what they told me and it worked for a couple more days and then I could never turn it on again.  My blue tooth doesn't work either.  I had to actually increase my data usage with AT&T becuase of this.  When I did that in December I went to the Apple store and was told that it is a hardware issue and since my phone is out of warranty I would have to pay for a new phone because they could not fix the issue.  My upgrade isn't up until June 2014 so not only do I have to wait for the upgrade and I am not paying for a new phone but I have to pay $10 plus extra a month on my cell phone bill because I was going over on my Data!!!  I have been beyond upset about this and Apple is not doing anything about this nor did they offer up some way to resolve the issue because obviously it is not just some rare incident if several people are having this issue.  Who knows how many people out there have had this issue and have not said anything about it.  Now there is a newer update that I can't do because it requires wifi in order to download.
    June can not get here fast enough and I may not go back to Iphone after dealing with this for so long with no help from Apple.

    Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
    It might also be a good idea to contact Square for assistance.

    Clear Safari. Close Safari. Reset your iPad.
    Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data.
    To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Safari app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    That is not what it says. Read the message again. It's telling you it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode and it must be restored.

    Plug in your iPhone. Restore it. If it asks you if you want to back it up say no. When the restoring is done, without plugging in your iPhone, you should get an option to restore your iPhone from a back up or a new iPhone option. Restore it from your back up. It has nothing to do with iCloud but I recommend you set up an iCloud account to avoid loosing stuff like your contacts. And it's free.

    In your calendars app, click the calendars button below and check if all the calendars are selected. Also click the search button on top(magnifying glass) and see if the events are listed.

  • HT5594 Has anyone noticed that since downloading IOS 7, that Find my Friends, is not working that well.  It consistently shows my daughter in the River, when she is at home.  It worked great before the download, and now it is barely working.

    My daughter and I both have an Iphone 4S.  We use Friend finder to locate each other when we are in different parts of the state.  It worked wonderfully for like a year, until we downloaded IOS 7, and now it barely works.  Whenever she drives out of her neighborhood it seems to kick in and work ok, but still not great.  When she goes back to her apatment it shows her at her address for a split second, then it quickly jumps to another location far from where is actually is.  I also downloaded another Family finder app, and it shows the exact same thing.  I have a GPS tracker in the car, and it works just fine up there in the same neighborhood, so I don't know how the technology is different.  Can anyone help because she is 7 hours away from where I am in school, and I worry!!

  • Deleted BB messenger, now emails don't work.

    Are these two connected?  I didn't think they were.  I just didn't need the extra chat function, so I deleted messenger, but now I'm not receiveing emails (and I don't think sending works either) to my phone.
    It was a delayed reaction, though.  I deleted the messenger last night, turned my phone off and back on, messenger was still there.  I received emails overnight and this morning. Sometime later in the day, no emails, and I checked and the messenger application is no longer on my phone.
    Is this the issue, do you think?  Do I need to reinstall it?  Do emails not work without the messenger?
    I have a Pearl 8120, T-mobile as my provider.  I know it's not the email servers or anything, because I have to separate accounts coming to my phone, and neither work.
    Thanks for any help.
    ETA: Sending emails out DOES work.  I will receive them, checking on a computer.  But I will not receive any emails to my phone.

    I'm sure that this is a coincidence. BB messenger is totally separate from your email.
    Go to options advanced options, Host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT click on any listing.
    Press menu key, and select register now.
    You will get a verification email. Then go to the Tmobile BIS site and send service books.
    You will get an activation email per account.

  • Calls worked through Mac and from iPhone and Now Suddenly Don't Work at All

    After Monday's update, I was able to make and receive calls through my iPad 3 and iMac (about a year old) with no problems at all. Matter of fact, it was a little annoying to have all three devices ringing whenever I received a call. Then mid-week, this feature did not work at all.
    What I've Done:
    1) I've gone through the set-up guides and now my FaceTime doesn't even show the option to set-up this feature.
    2) I've signed out of FaceTime on both devices multiple times.
    3) I signed all the devices in on my iCloud e-mail to ensure they are on the same page.
    Now phone number don't even show the option to call when I was freely making phone calls just a few days ago from my Mac, a feature I love. It's as if the settings don't even reflect it's possible to set-up this feature. On the FaceTime settings it doesn't even have the check box for allowing calls to be connected through.
    Please help.
