New spotlight setup very frustrating
Suddenly my Mac changed the way Spotlight works (apparently this new version has been out for a little while even though I've been running Yosemite since it was released - not sure what that's about). Anyways, my beef with this new style is there is no obvious way to resize the window that pops up in the center of the screen. Additionally, the right click contextual menu is deactivated - which is annoying since in the old version you could "show enclosing folder", a feature I used a lot in my work. There's no obvious way to do this in the new design. I can do this in the Finder window though, so it looks like I will relegate spotlight back to the fairly useless tool that it's devolved back into.
I'm sure someone will give more detail, but it looks like the server blocked your address because it thinks it's a spam source. If you're not spamming, then it might be someone on the same network spamming, or malware on your computer doing it. Or it could just be a mistake. try calling whoever runs your mail server and see if they can give you more information.

Brand new 80gb! very frustrated?!?!
i have a brand new ipod classic 80 gb. i had a 30 video and absolutely loved it, but it was stolen in a vehicle robbery and this is my replacement. when i hook it up, i am given a message that the ipod "ipod" requires itunes 7.4 or later and to download the newest version and try again or something like that. i have installed 7.5 numerous times and still get this same message every time!it will not do anything. any ideas????? please help, any advice is much appreciated!
Message was edited by: RNTBucki've got a laptop. don't have a mouse. i tried to format -> restore device deafults (brand new ipod, guess it was on default..) it took about an hour to do half so i cancelled it. switched the itunes back, it works, but doesn't show the still connected ipod.
my old ipod is a two years old ipod mini. i lost it's usb about a month ago and didn't bother buying one cos i knew i'll buy a new ipod soon.
so i use the same usb cable. and obviously not at the same time.
sorry for my tone, but it's late and i'm frustrated. -

Notification settings on iPad 3 are set properly but my new IPad does not get alert badges or rounds on apps with all notifications selected and in notifications center. Why? Others are reporting same problem.

Manage email notificationsDo you have system sounds muted? Check the button above your volume control on the right hand side of the iPad. If, when you change the button you see mute on your screen, you'll restore system sounds. If you see lock orientation, you can restore system sounds by double tapping your home button to bring up the task bar (most recently used apps). With your finger swipe those apps all the way to the right to reveal a mute icon on the left. Touch that icon and you'll restore system sounds.

My itunes is on an old computer. So old that I can't update it and so Haven't used it in two years. How can I move it to my new laptop and make sure this doesn't happen again? Very frustrated that I've spend $$ but can't get my music.
I want so set up itunes on my laptop and make sure that I get all of my old music and any music shared from my sons' itunes accounts. Do I have to set up itunes on my new laptop first and then use the same logins? Really concerned about losing any music, etc.These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have failed to move contacts and calendar items across you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

I ordered a new phone and shipped it to a friend in Dubai, UAE. without knowing i have to activate it by making 5minutes calls, please i need a way to activate it without sending it back to the US..any help? this has been very frustrating for me this past few days

My husband bought me a new Iphone today, but first backed up the old Iphone to Icloud. How do I download the old stuff. Have not been able to follow on-line directions. It's very frustrating. Give me my OLD PHONE BACK!!!
If you still have your old phone back it up via iTunes, then restore your new phone via the old phone's back up. Hope that makes sense.

My new birthday present of an i-phone 4s, can not be synced with the navigation of my 2011 Honda CRV. Can anyone give us hints on what to do, as the Honda dealership can not enable the phone to work with hands free. Help, this is very frustrating as the old cheap phone,worked perfect. Apple did not make this a user friendly product for cars.
Start by reading the User's Guide which will provide details for how to pair the device with other bluetooth devices. This may also require reading the Owner's Manual for the vehicle to find out how to put it into pairing mode.

I liked new firefox... I made it my default browser..But I am very frustrated with issue here I mentioned. Whenever I scroll down on facebook.. every 2-3 seconds page gets loading and it eventually make my surfing experience bad... Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

So why doesn't the new software upgrade the Apple TV to 1080hp...from the 720hp? Do I have to buy a new Apple TV to get that Upgrade? Mine is only about 2 months old! Very frustrating if thats the case!
If you want 1080, you will need to purchase the new Apple TV.
