New ssd not loading

I am having a 2010 mid macbookpro and today replaced ram and ssd on it. But its not loading now. Its led is blinking only. Any thoughts?

No. It must be formatted using Disk Utility and it must have a system installed in order to boot.
If your old internal hard drive can be recognized by your recovery disk, then your problem is probably a faulty SATA cable. Visit www.ifixit.com, find the Apple part number for the SATA cable and then search eBay for a replacement.

N8 Social app facebook news feeds not loading

3 days ago my news feeds stop loading, updated app in social, in ovi suite updated ovi social, can connect to facebook on mobile via internet all works ok, through social i can see everything else but not updated, i posted to see a current log..social app said cannot connect to feeds, yet the message had been sent to facebook, i can see it through pc?

Try Fascinate available for free from Nokia store. It's a fully functioning Facebook client with a home screen widget. Much better than Nokia's useless Social app.

Facebbok V 3.3.0.11 News feed not loading since today morning after the incident impacted BB6 + OS devices

I am using BlackBerry 9350 since 1 year almost without any issue. Now today morning RIM NOC team notified me for an incident impacted Browsing/ FB/Twitter apps. Once the thing restored everything started working except my Facebook.
The news feed or FB wall is not loading and giving error 2001 (Facebook returned an unknown error) rest everything FB chat, Profile, Frnd list is working. I have tried reinstalltion/ deletion of App through App world & desktop manager but nothing helped to resolve this.
Please post some solution as without Facebook wall its useless to use the FB and BB service.

Im glad im not the only one either ive had this problem since this morning and was starting to lose the head! I've tried everything -uninstalled /reinstalled FB, taken my battery out but nothing has worked. I cant even log into my FB now!
BB are saying this message is coming from FB well i can get onto my FB using the computer just not using my BB, people who have other phones aren't getting this problem only BB users - get this sorted BB!
This is the reason i wont be staying with BB for my upgrade in January!!

Mac Pro (late 2013) New ssd not seen in disk utility

I have a quirky problem.
I've run out of harddrive space, so I bought a new 1 TB SSD via Ebay, which is an original SSD from Samsung.
A month ago I bought another SSD, which didn't show up, so I sent it back thinking it was a faulty drive.
Today I received a new drive and it doesn't show up in Disk Utility either
But I'm pretty sure there must be something wrong with my system. When I boot up, I use a Yosemite installer via USB.
Hope you guys can help me, it's really frustrating.

It is the way Apple board treats the text and the link is the 2nd line. I would have had to use Advanced Editor which is needed to clean it up, is not a default option, and the problem only happens on Apple Discussions.

New iPod not loading on computer w/ new USB card... HELP!

My new 30g 5g is only about a month old. I've been hooking it up to my computer (PC) via the old USB (1) and it has worked fine. I just got a new external drive which pushed me into needing more USB slots so I got a new USB 2.0 card (Startech) and put that in my computer. The drive and everything else works fine through the card, however, my ipod won't work properly with it. The iPod used to load on My Computer as an ipod with its name and when opened would show the folders on the iPod. Now, it loads as a "removable disk" with nothing inside. And it won't load in iTunes at all.
If I connect it through the old USB slot it seems to work as normal. Also, anything else I connect with the new USB card works fine.
I've tried updating iTunes, restarting, tried all the different ports on the new card, took the card out and reinstalled...
I've avoided wiping my iPod so far, but I know that is one option. My iPod is basically brand new so I'm stumped. Any help is appreciated.

my only suggestion would be to format it thru windows (mycomputer, right click the ipod, format, quick format) then restore it with the ipod updater.
i myself am looking into getting a usb 2.0 card because im hoping it will fix my problem with random disconnections. i hope you work it out.

New playlist not loading music.......

Looks like songs are loading into my old playlist but new playlist and and songs in them aren't.

New GROUP_ACCT_NUM not loading into GL_ACCOUNT_D

I believe I correctly modified the files file_group_acct_names.csv, file_group_acct_codes_ora.csv, and file_grpact_fstmt.csv to add new GL account groupings. Yet in the W_GL_ACCOUNT_D table all records have a GROUP_ACCT_NUM value of OTHERS. I tried to trace through the DATAWAREHOUSE.DATAWAREHOUSE.SILOS.SIL_GLAccountDimension_Full.log, but I do not see any errors. The table W_CODE_D does contain the new accounts. I confirmed this with: select * from W_CODE_D WHERE CATEGORY='GROUP_ACCT' -- this returns 86 records.
Can anyone suggest where I can look for a solution?

No..if you ran a full there is no need to run the GL account cleanup. Can you post the lines you added in all 3 .csv files that correspond to the new accounts? Also..note that you may also have to change the RPD to have the metrics aligned to the new values but seems the issue is at the DB level. If you can post exactly what you added for the new accounts, we may be able to assist.

New iPhoto not loading photos from CD or time machine

Our hard drive recently failed and we got it replaced. When they replaced our HD, they upgraded us to Mac OS X 10.6.8 and iPhoto 9.1.5. We hooked time machine up to restore our old photos and they initially showed up on iPhoto, then most disappeared (thumbnails are now black. Photo names are still there, but pictures are gone. When I click on the black thumbnail, I get an exclamation point). SOME of the pictures loaded, at least half are gone. I've tried the tricks of command-option clicking iPhoto and clicking all the boxes and downloading iphoto manager. Nothing. Then we tried importing an old CD of pictures and they aren't showing up at all (it says "no photos").
So... What's going on? I want my pictures back!

New ipad not loading app store

hey guys, my ipad 3 just isn't loading up the app store. Ive tried everything that I can think of from shutting down the app from the multitasking window to restoring my ipad from itunes but still no luck. It looks like this where on the home page of the app store it shows the new and noteworthy apps along with every thing else but it just doesnt load up. Any help would be appreciated but right now this issue is just plain annoying.

Problem solved:
If the same problem happens to you, please do the following first before anything else.
Setting - Safari - Block Cookies = Select "From Third Parties & Advertisers" - Delete background App running - re-open iTuens or Podcast - All should load up with no problems.
I don't understand why the new software wouldn't select this option automatically or at least state it would need changing.

New x2100 not loading Solaris

I just turned on my new x2100.
It boots, brings up a boot menu, and solaris 10 starts loading.
Then after a while the screen goes blank except for a blinking cursor in the upper left corner. I've waited for hours, but nothing happens.
What should I do?

I have the same problem.. my server has run for almost a year an suddenly after a reboot it just hangs with a black screen and a blinking cursor.
I have contacted SUN and they have now changed the motherboard, but that didn't help.. so I'm really looking for a smart guy/girl who can tell me what to do??

Fox news does not load all the things on it in a lot of the boxes, like pictures andthings under news and faces.Have checked all the image settings and such....

on fox news site JUST recently the picts and some text , like under faces and news and under categories like WATCH now, NOTHING appears....just satrted happening..have checked the settings to no avail...HELP

New events not loading chronologically

When I upload a set of photos to iPhoto 11 the new event is no longer placed chronologically. Usually the new event appears as the last in the list of existing events, but for my 3 most recent sets of pics the events have been created at the beginning of the list of (along with pics from 2005!). Can't think that I've changed anything, same camera, and date on camera is correct. Any ideas?

Fresh Install of Mtn Lion on new SSD More Difficult Than I Thought

Today I installed my brand new 512GB SSD from Crucial. Had wanted a fresh install of Mtn Lion, but that turned out to be difficult. As a result, I resorted to a restore of my most recent Time Machine backup, which completed just fine.
Changing out the drives was simple and quick. I then inserted my formatted USB Drive, held down the Option key, and re-started my laptop. So far so good, and I was asked which drive I wanted to install Mtn Lion on, but the problem was that my new SSD was not listed as one of the options, so I took out the new drive and re-inserted my old SSD.
When I ordered the new drive, I ordered the one that came with a Data Recovery Kit, which included a CD and a nifty little adapter that attached to your drive, with a short USB cable on the other end. I attached the adapter to the new drive, plugged in the USB end, and then opened Disk Utility. I then realized that the new drive was never formatted, so I thought I had found the problem as to why the new drive never showed as an option when I wanted to install a fresh copy of Mtn Lion. I quickly reformatted the new drive, then re-installed it in my laptop, then re-started and held down the option key. Still, the new drive was not showing as an option to install Mtn Lion.
However, it did show as an option if I chose to install a Time Machine backup, so that is what I did, and the restore process was quick and effortless. In the end, I have a new 512 GB SSD and am happily continuing with my computing. Still, I have to wonder why the new drive was never available to me as a destination option for a fresh install of OSX 10.8.2.
Any ideas if I missed something along the way? Why did the new SSD not show as an option for a fresh install?

Drive Preparation for Lion
1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select the SSD (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Security button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
7. After formatting is done quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.

While upgrading my 3,2 8 core power Mac , it will not boot. Going from 10.8.3 to 10.8.4. There is no visible video after chime. I need to get up and running ASAP. Could the video drivers have not loaded. Please help and thank you. Ps. Main drive ssd.

The Mac will not boot to a cd, Mac or disk warrior.
It will run for 10 minutes with no video, then shut itself down.

My new Dell monitor power light pulses as if no video is present
Wondering if the vid. driver did not load during update?
Can't seem to light one pixel, no matter what.

Update on this issue. I replaced the video card with an old one that I had and it boots fine.
Question, if a driver were missing from the update process, would I see anything on the screen at all. I had pure black as if no signal was carried to the monitor. I'm trying to rule out hardware failure, as this card is 1.5 years old.
