Had to reload Norton, Got a popup reading... your processor is not supported!
So I downloaded, the earlier version and updated it to 21.7.0.11 which ran fine! The issue now is, the software keeps asking me for the activation code? Downloaded off of Norton, but subscription through Comcast! Maybe I should just get AVG? Or maybe it is time to upgrade, miss my XP

After you install the Norton product, run LiveUpdate until all updates are installed.
This is the the page they and you directed. I clicked and downloaded this Norton 360 So now it is asking me for the key??? That is the one you told me to download???

But, frankly, I don't think that simply reinstalling the old Safari will work because of all the peripheral, under the hood changes that happen when you upgrade from one version of Safari to another. Reinstalling 5.1.10 may be insufficient to turn back the clock. (This is the moment where a Time Machine or another form of full backup would save your bacon.)
While you're getting a copy of Safari 5.1.10, get a copy of Firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/desktop/), too, so that you have an alternate browser to use as you're sorting matters.

According to Roaring Apps, there is a version of Protools compatible with Lion. But you may need Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to buy either Lion or ML on MAS. It looks like you need to get up-to-date with your OS and the apps too.

Installation of new NWRFCSDK does not work with sapnwrfc-0.19.

Hi,
I was trying to install the new nwrfcsdk and the corresponding ruby sapnwrfc-0.19.
The rfsdk is located in D:\downloadmanager\mwrfcsdk (jsut unpacked it after download from service.sap.com and copied the dll into services32)
Unfortunately this does not work. Do I miss something ?
Any help is appreciated !

I just upgraded to Firefox 5. How can I get a copy of Firefox 4. The new version does not work with Skype's auto dialer.

How can I get a copy of the previous version of Firefox? The latest version (5) does not support Skype's auto dialer. I use this tool to be more productive.

Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended.
If Firefox disabled some add-ons (especially extensions), it likely is because they include a list of compatible Firefox versions and haven't yet been updated for Firefox 5. If they worked on Firefox 4, there is a good chance they will work on Firefox 5.
You can force Firefox to ''ignore'' add-on version restrictions by (what else) installing an add-on. Then you can test whether the add-ons important to you actually work in Firefox 5.

After you install this add-on and restart Firefox, there will still be a message that "--- is incompatible with Firefox 5.0" but the add-on will be enabled and a Disable button will appear for that entry.

New MBP Does not work with wifi after migration assistant.

Old Mac book did'nt Play well with some wifi got new one and it worked fine. Migrated preferences from old MBP to new now we one has the same issues?

This is what I've been telling people. When you migrate an older system to a newer one you never know what is going to be carried over.
This has been a issue with Windows PCs for a long time.
Best is to copy personal files from old to new. Install programs on the new one and make all changes manually to system preferences.

since i upgraded my Mac to 10.8 operating system, I am not able to use the ePrint function from my HP Laserjet P1102W printer. I was told that the current version of the firmware 20130213 does not support this function. Does anyone know when the new version of the firmware will be available to support this function? thanks much.

New Browse does not work with NTLM proxy and Firefox

With the new uploader I cannot upload a file with Firefox and our (NTLM) company proxy. I am prompted for my password, but cannot enter it correctly for a reason.
However the normal attachment functions still works.

WIRELESS MOUSE DOES NOT WORK WITH MY COMPUTER

Tried several wireless mice but they only work for a short time; i am very frustrated! do not want to pay for HP tech service & want to know if anyone out there has been experiencing same problem; is it a setting problem? Degrade Theme. New one does not work as old one did

On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. As for your question, you need to contact the theme's author for support. You should be able to find old version of the theme in addons.mozilla.org, if that's where the theme is stored.

The new version does not work with joomla

When I am asked to upgrade my firefox version (to 3.6) I cannot do certain functions with my joomla template. Example; I cannot upload any images. I have to convert back to the 3.5.9 version in order to do this task. I need help. I want the upgrade, but I cannot afford to lose any functions in order to up date my site.

Lightroom 4 Does not Work with plugins

I installed my Lightroom 4 upgrade yesterday and I like the changes. However, the new program does not work with any plugin including Elements, NIK software and others. Adobe should not have released the full program until they had ensured that all will work.
I have a MAC OS Lion. I went to the NIK homepages and followed their instructions to uninstall all prior versions and download the latest version of their software to install. I followed these directions and nothing happened. So I tried Adobe's own plugin, Elements 9, and that too did not work. Then I tried a few others I have from OnOne and other developers, but nothing works.
Then I called Adobe where a recording told me they are very busy with complaints about Lightroom 4 and hung up. Then I tried to get a tech rep to chat with me, but got the same results as I had gotten with my call.
Why does Adobe sell a product that fails such a basic issue? Why did they not work it out with the Beta edition before selling the progrm? I understand why Beta programs often have trouble, that's why they are Beta, but I do not understand why Adobe would sell a flawed product and then prevent their customers from getting tech help.

Actually, the LR4 beta worked fine with respect to this issue. It wasn't until the full version was released that some people started experiencing the problem of being unable to access the external editors and plugins from LR.

As of Firefox 4.0 and newer one needs at least OSX 10.5+ and Intel hardware.
The latest you can use on your Intel with OSX 10.4.11 is Firefox 3.6.25 (released recently) which can be found at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
If you were to update to say OSX 10.5.8 then you can use Firefox 9.0.1
