New Store Quantity Calculation

hai..
i have been assigned an object.
I need to use the function exit WRPL0001 for the transaction wrp1 to calculate the total consumption for the given fiscal year.
Inside the user exit using the article number and site, the corresponding reference site and article from store logistics view is to be read.
Does any one know wat a store logistics view means?? also the minimum TROC should be read from store logistics view.
Can anybody help me regarding this?

i am working with PI.I have some doubts .Pl.clear the following.
1)Is it mandatory to create bath determainationin PI.
2)As our bom components vary for the header material.How could it be map in master recipe.Whether this material quantity calculation link with batch & how it perform.

I have been using Dreamweaver MX for years and was forced to switch to Dreamweaver CS4 when I started a new job. I am NOT a developer and am having a hard time getting used to CS4 - which is designed (in my humble opinion) for developers. Can you create rotating news stories functionality in MX? Simple method: Put your news items on seperate pages. Add links from parent page to the respective article pages.
MX is too old to support Spry widgets, but CS4 does.

I would like to add new scale quantity for a material in VK12 transaction

I wouls like to add new scale quantity to already existed material in VK12 tcode.
Here I need to update large amount of data.For that i can use the LSMW (BDC recording) for VK12.
But in the BDC recording in VK12 tcode the first selection screen was not captured.That is the material number,SORG and DIST_CHA is not captured in recording.
Could anybody help me is there any standard LSMW for this transaction or how to get these fields in BDC recording?

Its very much possible to add a new link on the logon page by customizting logon par file.
Please follow these procedure:-
1. Downlaod the latest Par file from portal under System Admin -> Support
2. Upload the downloaded file into NWDS in EP perspectibe and add required jars in Java Buil path and lb folder
3.Navigate to the folder PORTAL-INF -and open the jsp file umelogonpages.jsp to cutomize.
4. Just add the following sample codein jsp to refer a website. Please this code where ever you want on the logon page as per your requirement.

5. Deploy the modified component into EP.

Batch determination issue in process order Material quantity calculation

Dear Gurus,
We are facing issue in auto batch determination in process order (Material quantity calculation ).
eg Material X is active material 200 KIA used in BOM as
10 X   200 KIA
20 Y   10           Filler
30 Z
40 X   200 KIA
50 Y
60 Z
We select line item 10 and 40 and do Batch determination system proposes 2 batches for line item 10 as Batch A and B
and for line 40 again Batch A (with 0.01 KIA) and batch B proposed which is wrong.
For line Item 10 Batch A and B
For line Item 40 Batch B and C or as per FIFO logic.
As Batch A should be consumed in Line item 10 then it proposed Batch B and so on....
We have already maintain data in COB1.
Can any body explain what is wrong in determination.

Process Order Base Quantity calculation - WPL

Hi,
In COR2 when changing Total order quantity (Litres) (CAUFV-GAMNG) the Base quantity (Kgs) automatically re-calculates (CAUFV-BMENGE).
As far as I can see this is calculated from the WPL found in the material master > additional data > units of measure e.g. 1000lts = 1255kgs.
However if I create a process order it calcualtes with say 1.255 Kg/l, I then change the WPL in the material master, come back into the order and then change the Total order quantity. The base qty is still using the old WPL.
My question is where does the base quantity calculation take the WPL from? If it does take it from the material master is there anyway of making the process order pick up the current WPL in the calculation and the not the previous one?

Below are the steps you can explore.
1. Assign Classification to component if you are using any batch classification values for calculation of other components. This you can do it in BOM section of Master recipe.
2. Now goto calculation tab for the component of which quantity calculation is required.
3. In this screen you can see the characteristic assigned for calculation in batch classification as per step 1.
4. You can insert simple calculation formula using reference of these cells. The reference is simple like the references we have in excel. For example (001; 002) this given you value in 1st column & 2nd row.
5. At the time of batch determination or quantity change in Process order please make sure to click on Calculation tab & then save. This is required to get the quantity calculated as per formula.

Aol mail works, but aol videos don't. also, aol stays on page 1 of day's news stories. arrows don't work.

AOL opens as usual, but I can't move from page 1 of the day's news stories. The arrows don't work and the bar at the top says: aol.com/#. AOL videos go to "connecting." but don't play. My AOL mail account works fine. There are no AOL problems using IE.
Problems started 2 days ago. I'm a low-tech sort, but have tried various fixes suggested in the help section. Currently using Firefox 9.0.1 with Adobe and Silverlight plug-ins. No add-ons. No known (to me) changes 2 days ago that could have caused this. What's the fix? Please advise.

Create a new store front (istore)

We have a requirement to create a new store front.
Similar to previous one. We have two types of OU(Operating unit) say X,Y
We have to create a new store front which has all the features of the previously created store front.
We also need to attach a catalog.
Since I am new to Oracle apps (istore) kindly let me know what should be done to create a similar istore "STORE FRONT"

For drastic style changes, modify the jsp code. The iStore R12 front page is located at ibeCZzpHome.jsp. There are mutliple .jsp files that make up what iStore calls bins, including ibeCAcdWelcome.jsp for the right bin. You can change the master stylesheets, but will have to modify each bin individually.
The style sheets to modify are:
ibeCStyleSheet.css
jtfucss.css
To help you locate the appropriate .jsp file, iStore uses html comments in the source file of ibeCZzpHome.jsp. View the rendered source (view source from a web browser) on this page to find the comments like "<!-- $Header: ibeCCtdMenu.jsp...". Use these headers to identify specific file that you want to edit.

When converting an Indesign file that has Incopy stories linked to it from CS6 to CC, is it necessary to unlink the stories and export new stories?

Does this new, store-bought wi-fi router need to be returned to store?

Help. My new, store-bought Airport Extreme router can't detect my Internet service, nor my USB computer.
I'm trying to set up a wi-fi home network.
My computer's ethernet card is not wi-fi; however, I have successfully installed and enabled a USB wi-fi plug-in and my computer is wi-fi capable.
When the output from my cable modem is plugged into my ethernet card socket, I have internet.
When my printer is connected by USB to a USB port on back of my computer, my printer works fine.
When I plug the output from my cable modem into the Airport Extreme's WAN socket, however, I get message that no Internet service is available.
When I plug my printer's USB cable into the Airport Extreme's USB socket, I get message saying my no printer is detected.
In troubleshooting, I find that a wi-fi network is established and that the signal is very strong.
The light on the face of the Airport Extreme continually blinks yellow.
Is this just a faulty router? Do I just need to return it to the store?

At this point I would recommend that start by performing a complete power recycle of your networking hardware to verify that you can get the new Extreme to gain Internet access from your modem. Please post back your results.

Cannot purchase on new store client

Target quantity calculation in Production order.

Hi Freinds,
Target quantity of the components to be issued is calculated from the ratio from BOM of header material.
If there is component scrap for the components mentioned in BOM then the Target quantity calcultion also considers this and increases the quantity by the Scrap percentage mentioned.
Target quantity gets updated at the time of goods issue during confirmation
Problem is only for orders of one material, the target quantity calculated of components is not considering scrap inspite of maintaining the scrap for components in BOM.
Can anybody help in this matter, what could be the missing setting ?

Hi Shailesh,
Please check whether the BOM where u maintained the scrap is being copied to the order. To my knowledge there is no other settings required to consider component scrap.
I think the BOM which is copied to the order might be of different alternative BOM where you have not maintained the scrap for that particular component.
Please check and revert.

I can not see photo's of news stories

My home page with news stories is fine 9showinf photos) but when I click onto a story it takes me to the story BUT shows no photographs.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

* Check that images are enabled: Firefox > Preferences > Content: [X] Load images automatically

* Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

Tcode Lp10 requested quantity calculation.

I want to know logic for requested quantity calculation in LP10 as I see that there is stock available for the material but qty is not calcualted in requested quantity field.

Requested quantity gets calculated based on how much left over stock you have in production supply area. Suppose in PSA available qty is 100pc and if you consumed only 70pc in the production order fow which you have staged it. SO left over stock will be will reduce the requested quantity by 30pc for next production order.
In your that may have happened, at first instance there might be some leftover stock was available, while next if might have consumed by someone
