New tab page shows multiple sites from the same domain

For example in the grid of sites it may show multiple pages from e.g. stackoverflow.com instead of just the single base domain stackoverflow.com (or alternatively the most used of the pages). Is there any way to limit each domain to a single page in the quick links tableau? In my opinion having multiple pages is not at all a navigational aid as sites generally provide their own internal navigation.

How to create send connectors for multiple sites in the same domain?

Current Scenario:
We have 2 offices, 1 in London and 1 in India. Both are in the same domain and are connected via VPN. Both have their own separate Exchange 2003 server. Each location sends out their mail via the Default SMTP Virtual Server on their exchange server through
their local ISP. There are no Send connectors created currently.
We have now installed an additional Exchange 2010 server with Hub, CAS and Mailbox roles at the London site. Internal mail flow between the sites seems to be working fine.
I believe the Exchange 2010 needs a Send connector to send out mail to the internet. However as soon as we create a Send connector on Exchange 2010, mail from the older 2003 servers at both sites start to flow out from the exchange 2010 server. This is not
optimal for our India site since their outgoing mail now has to flow via the VPN to London and out via the new server.
How can we configure it so that each server sends outgoing mail independently?

Regarding "New Tab Page" - dragging a bookmark from the libary does not display when "+" is selected

It's maddening that I can't fix something so simple.
When I click on the "+" a new page opens with unpopulated entries for websites. I've tried the steps in "New Page Tab" and managed to drag and drop a bookmark from my "library".
The prompts look OK but the site does not appear in the vacant entry box. It looks like it should work. Is there a simple (stupid) step that I'm missing?

I want to choose what appears in the 9 boxes on the new tab screen. Why can't I click an empty box and enter the web address to be used for that box. Even if it did work, drag and drop a terrible way to do this. "Bookmarks-Add to new tabs" would be a 2 click operation. Instead some developer wanted to play with drag and drop and got it wrong. I suggest adding the simple functionality first and experiment with drag an drop later.
Also it is suggested that add-ons could stop the functionality from working. This is like saying your car won't start if you put a passenger in it. I'd guess someone just made that suggestion to try to be helpful rather than out of any actual experience of it fixing this problem.

I aggree It's rather annoying that you can't remove these features when like me you never use them, however by far the most annoying part of this is that when you go into 'Customize Toolbar' you can actually add yet a second 'Show Top Sites' feature to the toolbar !! Even those people who actually want to use this feature don't require two of them. For crying-out-loud come on Apple, this has to be a joke right?!?

Let me explain it a bit to remove the ambiguity.
I have 10 documents nested under a book. Each of these documents have 'n' number of pages. I want to apply my custom made master page "First" to the first page of all these 10 documents in one go. The remaining pages of the documents have to be in default "Right" master page format. How will I do it?
I tried selecting all the documents and importing the formats from another document with the custom made "First" master page. The master page format is getting imported but the first page of all the documents still remain with the default "Right" master page format.
I think now my question is more clear...

Does any body knows how can i create navigations iviews that show differents documents from the same folder? This is my situation i have a folder that include documents for diferents countries, i want create a navigation iview that show only the documents for Canada from this folder.

The only other option is to give user access using taxonomy. But it seems like a lot of extra work to keep documents in the same directory. anyway, here is the overview of steps:
1. create index (SA > System Configuration > Knowledge Mgmnt > Index Administration)
2. create categories within the taxonomy.
3. define Query on each category. (Content Management > Classification > Taxonomy Query Builder)
4. create property: property namespace, property group. (SA > System Configuration > Knowledge Mgmnt > Content Mgmnt > Global Services > Property Metadata)
5. assign props to the docs.
6. Schedule the crawler to create classification index.
7. classify docs so that docs actually go recide in the categories
8. Create role, page and KM Navigation iViews for end user to browse the taxonomy instead of going directly to the repository.
9. restrict permissions on the taxonomy for different user groups.

So I receive automated reminders from my job & I want them to come individually. For example, one text -- time stamped 10:14 pm, then another 11:12 am, coming as separate msgs.

New Tab Page - thumbnails are not using the files from cache folder, but they want a connection to their origin website.

each time I visit a website, FireFox saves a thumbnail of all these sites for the "New Tab Page". Those thumbnails are cached in the 'thumbnails' Folder . That's so far ok for me.
The problem is:
Every time if I use the "New Tab Page" (...after shutdown & reopening the browser and only with 'mousehoover' on any thumbnail) all the thumbnails on that page don't use the cached thumbnails from the local profile folder.
This means:
Instead of using the cached thumbnail-files all(!) these thumbnails dials to their origin websites without(!) a mouseclick on any of these thumbnails (...see jpg pictures) !
I'm using the "Clear history when Firefox closes" with the following options:

So, i can't believe that this homedialing of pinned and unpinned thumbnails should be a normal function.

The Browser Version is Firefox ESR 31.2.0 and in the installation are no Add-ons, which are - for example - prefetching linked websites.

There is a preload pref available that you could try to disable on the about:config page.

New tab page shows tiled and poorly sized thumbnails

Just upgraded from 12 to 13, new tab page looks awful. Most of the images show tiled versions of the webpages, with about 1.8 copies of each page horizontally and 1.5 vertically in each image.

I'm having the same problem listed above. Disabling hardware accelaration did not fix it. I'm on Firefox 13, Linux - Beefy Miracle. I'm including a screenshot.

oh, quick side note: Window's users get a cool orange Firefox badge to the left of the tabs... linux users just get a plain text Firefox link. Can't wait to get the attractive aesthetics made available to windows' users!

Multiple edits from the same clip.

Hi guys,
I have a project which requires a lot of different edits from the same clip.
Is there any way to do this without having to duplicate the same clip each time and then making my new edit?
For instance -
Clip 1 is 20 minutes long.
My first edit is from 1:10 to 1:35.
I then duplicate Clip 1 and make another edit from 2:40 to 3:55.
I'm using Premier CS5.

Sub clips are not a general edit way of doing things efficiently.
They are more of a way of creating a bin full of "selects" ( selected clips in a Selects Folder for easy and quick access and review). That is a time consuming process but works well in some situations.
Standard general edit practice is to edit from Source Monitor.
drop Clip into Source Monitor
Mark In and Out point and drop that to the Time line. (many ways to do that Insert/ overlay/ shortcuts etc..)
Next...Move thru and create new In and Out and do the same
continue thru the Source Clip till complete...
Then on the Timeline ( sequence) Tim and work the clips.
Now ...some "learners" edit the source clip in the timeline using Razor Tool...hacking and chopping and deleting and dragging bits of stuff all over the show. Thats in efficient and clunky .

Searching mail shows multiple copies of the same email

I use gmail through Mail, and I noticed there are multiple copies of the same e-mail (on further inspection, it looks like the copies are at different stages/edits) show up in my Trash folder. Is there any way to stop this?

The same thing just happened in my Blackberry gmail folder... I sent an email from my computer and 20 copies showed up on my phone.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate your input. I did find another way of doing it and that is to highlight the first e-mail, hold down the shift key and click on the last one. That highlights them all and then they can all be deleted. Your ideas also work of course and I thank you for that. Cheers.

I have just discovered how to arrange my iTunes library in chronological order by artist using 'Album by Year', i.e. All an artists albums are in order of release, Artist > Year > Disc # > Track #
However,
I have now encountered a new (minor) problem where there are several releases from the same year.
For example, I have some artists who have released several singles, EPs and albums all in the same year (those busy people) and so all releases from any one year are filed alphabetically, not technically in chronological order, but close.
It would require an exact release date in the 'Year'/'File Info' fields. Is this possible?
Am I just being too picky?

*** Receiving multiple emails from the same person

This is a new issue that started happening today and I'm wondering if someone can help.
When receiving emails today, they are duplicating as they are coming into my inbox. The wierd thing is, the amount of duplicate emails is inconsistent. All emails are coming in as duplicates, but some messages duplicate up to 7 times for each sender. Other times, the message is in my inbox 4 times. Same message from the same sender.
Is there a way I can tell my MacMail to stop this from happening???

People keep reporting this problem from time to time, and almost always it is some sort of Yahoo account and there is nothing the user can do to fix it. The problem usually fixes itself after some time for no apparent reason, just as it started.
Try using a different mail client, such as Thunderbird, and see whether the problem happens there as well. If so, then you know Mail has no bearing on it and there is nothing you can do other than complaining to your ISP or whoever is responsible for that account.
