Colin Smith did a video tutorial for pre-release users a little while ago. It's a passionate introduction to SpeedGrade. The feedback to it was so overwhealmingly positive that we decided to put it on Adobe TV without altering it. The video files from Colin Smith's Adobe Speedgrade tutorial are solid green but other video files work.

Howdy,
I downloaded the project files for Colin Smith's Speedgrade tutorial but all the video files show as solid green and have a frame rate of 0.01 to 0.00 from within premiere Pro CC14 but they play fine on VLC player. I tried to download and unzipped the files multiple times with the same result. Other MP4 content works fine on the Premiere Pro timeline.

HT1630 I have just bought my MacBook Pro 15" Retina new this week. When storing the charger I wrapped it as described on the support page, but now I've noticed that in some places in the power cord (charger to MacBook) there are small lumps.

It looks like the strains are unwrapping in its isolating sleeve. By twisting the cord you can get the lump out, but when you then want to store it and wrap it around the charger the lumps come back because the cable is twisted in an other direction.

IMHO the worst way to store, transport, any Mac notebook charger is to wrap the cord around the transformer block as described on the Apple website and documentation. This only leads to the cord braking and as you have noticed some lumps.
I wrap the cord around my hand loosely in big loops never putting any strain on either end of it. I also let the cord hang loose before I start wrapping it around my hand. This allows the cord to twist naturally as I wrap. When un-wrapping I also hold it up to let all the twists work there way out. This has worked for me with all the AC adapters for Mac computers I've owned.

Bring Back New Films This Week.

Recently the catagory New This Week has been removed from the Films section of On Demand.
Please put it back.
The whole browsing system is slow, unresponsive and bloated. This section was the only decent way to find new content... Why would it be removed?

BT you need to bring this option back I noticed it had vanished aswell!. Do you realy expect us to navigate through every single categorie list each week just to find the new ones?? seriously!.
If its a legal thing using the word "New" then just change it to "Recently added" or something. Also remove 'The Thing' from free movies because its actually a paid movie and misleading to anyone browsing the FREE movie section.
I also noticed in the free movie section that they added a lot of box office/premium content links which feels like your trying to make us goto that section and "accidentally" pay for premium movies without realising it. If I wanted to view box office movies I would have gone to the box office section!.
What is going on????

No new films this week & sony?

Been waiting all day for some new films to be added to film club but nothing seems to have been added :\ ..no new films this morning...no new films this afternoon and as of now 11:40pm still no new films. Where are the new films? lol
On a side note the Sony film section now has only 4 films in it which will all have expired by November 20th which means no films will be in it in a few weeks time. The sony film section hasnt been updated in months have BT lost contract with them or something?
Service is getting really bad..seriously.

I think there are new (recycled) films today .... Six of the seven advertised (new this week) Warner films are available on my black box new look system. The one missing movie is Innerspace.

I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now.

I'm thinking of changing providers now.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

TS3274 My daughters ipad has stopped downloading new apps, we tried to download some new ones this week and they are just showing as "waiting", we deleted all her games to see if it was a memory issue but they are still showing as waiting.

We have tried to download some new free games for my daughter this week, there are three which are just showing as "waiting" and not downloading at all and its been almost a week.
I deleted all her previous games thinking it might somehow free them up but it has not helped.
please help i am getting nagged!

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

Jeff + Michael 'New Video Tutorial' ?????

Did I read a while back that Jeff and Michael had (were) producing a new video tutorial concerning LR called something along the lines of 'From Shoot to Print'? Have I got this all wrong, and if not, anyone else heard about it and when/if we can expect it? Perhaps Jeff will be so kind as to jump in here. :-)

Thanks for that. I raised it here due to the many problems people appear to be having with their prints - especially with Epsom printers. Whether or not this is due to incorrect profiles, a fault with several Epsom printers, failing to set up LR correctly or a combination of each is anyones guess, but as Jeff appears to be using Epsom printers it would be nice to know whether the tutorial video will go into detail (visually) of how he sets the entire thing up.
It might just give those having current printing problems something to look forward to, and others (like me) who are considering upgrading their current printers a better reason not to shun Epsoms. :-)

The inimitable Izzy has just issued a new video tutorial on the Travel Matte Alpha. He demonstrates its utility to place video within text, but obviously it has other uses.
The tutorial is free.

If you bought the MBP new 3 weeks ago, it should have come with Mountain Lion already installed. Did you update your MBP to the newly released 10.8.4 update? If not, what OS were you running before the upgrade, and what version of Mountain Lion do you have now?

To be honest, I can't tell you specifically why Google won't work in landscape mode - but I have some good suggestions.
1. Delete your Google App, and redownload it - and make sure you've chosen the version for iPad. This fixes the problem for most users.
2. Use an alternate app, like Safari (which has loads more features) or Chrome, both for iPad. And the search results are exactly alike.
