New to CC Photoshop and LR

I Have just installed Photoshop under the Photographers monthly package which includes LR
My question is can I install Bridge via the CC and if so does it cost me more?

your photographers package includes, lr, ps and bridge. there's no extra chage.

thanks for answer. you know like background layer. for example when you are generating web buttons you are preparing background layers. it will select a layer like that.

After migrating to new Macbook Pro, Photoshop and Bridge constantly Version Cue Crash

I just upgraded to the new MacBook Pro and CS4 crashes any time I try to open a file. "Fatal error - missing component /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0.0/VersionCue.framework" I've read that the best thing to do for that error is to uninstall and reinstall, but my new machine does not have an optical drive, so my old disks don't help much. Also, I bought CS4 during a limited offer for upgrades to CS1, so I had to call technical support to get it activated, so even if I did manage to reinstall (perhaps by copying my install disks to a USB drive?) I'm expecting to have trouble with reactivating. Any advice before I start tinkering?

Thanks! I deactivated it from both the old and new computers, followed the instructions here to copy the install files and it all just worked.
Strangely enough, it did not ask me to reactivate after reinstalling. It's just working. It doesn't seem to be upadating properly (I run update, and it comes up with the same 9 updates I just downloaded and applied) but I'll probably be upgrading to CS6 or creative cloud before year's end, so this will do for now.

I'm new to Adobe, PhotoShop and Mac.

I downloaded the Adobe download assistant. It said that when it was downloaded, it would start the adobe download automatically.
It didn't. It just sat there in file form in a box, so I clicked on the knowledge link to see what was going on, and the box with the assistant vanished.
Where did it go? What do I do now? I paid for Adobe so that I could have Photo Shop, and now you have my money and I have nothing? A little

We cannot know. Your description sounds vague and confusing. You need to provide system info and explain better. Based on what you said, I would guess you have issues with the download assistant, so start by reviewing this:

I moved Creative Suite 5 to a new computer, deactivated on the old, activated on the new, but only Illustrator and Photoshop will open. The rest of the suite will not open. How do I fix this?

I moved Creative Suite 5 from my old MacBook Pro to my new MacBook Air and followed the instructions for deactivating on the old and activating on the new but only Photoshop and Illustrator will work. I need to also access InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and Fireworks. Is there a way to fix this? Problem with the MacBook Air is that is doesn't have a disc drive so I had to transfer via external hard drive.

The problem is that you need to install CS5 from an installation file or installation disc. You can't just copy files because there are lots of supplementary files that don't get put in the right location.
You'll need to use the Adobe Cleaner to remove all the stuff on your new computer:

How can I make title screens in either Illustrator or Photoshop and import them into Premiere Pro?

I'm having trouble finding the identical aspect ratio to import either an Illustrator or Photoshop title screen into Premiere Pro. There are so many ratios to choose from with Premiere Pro that I've about lost my mind. I was able to import Photoshop title screens into iMovie with no problem. I'll be importing the finished video into my YouTube channel. I want it to be widescreen but have no clue which ratio to use. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I always start with New Image in Photoshop, and then choose a Video Preset, that matches my PrPro Sequence. I use one with Guides. I usually choose to create that New Image with a Transparent Background.
Once complete, I just do a Save_As to PSD, which will be Imported into PrPro. If you have Ps Layers, you have two choices on Import: you can Import as Footage, which will Flatten your Layers, or you can Import as a Sequence to keep the Layers separate. Depending on what I will be doing, I might select one, or the other. If you Import as a Sequence, you can then animate each Layer individually.

When you double click on psd new instance of Photoshop opens but it doesn't open the file

Just updated to new version of Photoshop and when I double click on a psd, a new instance of Photoshop opens but it doesn't open the file.
Any way to fix this?

If I use open from Photoshop it opens the file. If I drag and drop into photoshop(and there is nothing open in photoshop) is opens.

That code looks like JavaScript. Are you looking to do this in JavaScript? For Photoshop you get a very limited amount of options as to where your script and/or plug-in will show in the menu system. For Filters you can create a submenu in the filter menu. Selection plug-ins go in the Select menu, etc. etc. The enable/disable of the menu item is controlled by your PiPL resource for a Filter. You give Photoshop a static description of when you should and should not be enabled and Photoshop controls the actual enable/disable logic from that description. Again via the PiPL resource.
JavaScripts have a little more flexibility but not much. You can read about the resources you put iniside of a JavaScript (jsx) file to get your script in the File > Scripts, File > Automate, Help, et.al. See the PDF's that are part of your install in the Scripting folder.
I would advise splitting your question up and posting to the Illustrator forum. I'm not sure about the JavaScript interface to menus In Illustrator but the C/C++ interface is much better in Illustrator for adding and controlling menu items.

So is it true that you can only purchase a plan now for photoshop and no longer buy an actual disc or any software as a one time buy?

it has been awhile since i had a new copy of photoshop and when i go to look for one to buy it seems adobe has now made it so you can only subscribe to a plan? ugh. seems like i will end up spending even more money that way

You can still purchase a license for Photoshop CS6 700 USD new/200 USD upgrade for the Standard Edition.
Adobe has stopped distribution via boxed dvd-rom. It's all download now.
Be aware that with the exception of bugfixes and OS upgrades, there are no updates.

What OS version? What's the exact error? Exactly when does the error occur? What previous versions? What is on the screen when the error displays? Does Photoshop get fully open?
Try opening Photoshop holding down Shift key immediately to turn off plug-ins. Lots of good suggestions here: Photoshop: Basic Troubleshooting steps to fix most issues

How do I reinstall Photoshop and AI on my new computer?

I am a member of Creative Cloud and bought a new computer. When I went to install Photoshop and AI, my only option was to install the trial versions. How do I install the permanent version?

As a member of Creative Cloud,you may install the software on two computers.
Your software will be a trial version to begin with. You the sign in to make it licensed.
On the Trial version you should see "License this software" when you open AI and PS. This should ask you for your Adobe ID and Password. This should be enough to activate the software.
You can also sign in under the Help menu of your products.
