New to creative cloud: Running LR and PS on two machines

I have an older dell running WIndows 7 and am buying a new MacBook pro. If I buy a creative cloud subscription today, will I be able to run LR and PS on both machines and the mobile version on my ipad?

I had creative cloud installed in a parallels deskto virtual machine on my mac, I delete the virtual machine without deactivate the creative cloud. after reinstall a new VM running windows 8.1. pro 64 bits, I downloaded the creative cloud installer but it does not install ang give an Error code 72, it is assuming that I already are using the Creative cloud in 2 computer, but itis no the case, how to solve this situation?

Dave: I did the Microsoft Update two days before this happened, and rebooted as required.  I just created a new restore point and lauched Creative Cloud.  Now I get the famous white screen:
It just sits and spins (been 10 minutes now).
Fortunately, I saved away this command (which I've had to use 4 or 5 times already):
    del %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\opm.db
Unfortunately now, I get this (even after closing the above window):
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
So I killed everything that said "Adobe" in the task manager and this time, the command succeeded.
Fortunately, the current apps seem to still work.  I can't seem to find the "Creative Cloud" app in the applications on my system, but I launched Photoshop CC, told it to look for updates, and got a list of the 5 prgorams that need updates in the Adobe Application manager:
I will proceed with the updates, holding my breath.

    Hi,
thank you, it’s done! The Chat helped me! Now I cannot go into this forum anymore with my old password, but that’s not a big problem.
    Best wishes,

I have recently updated the new apps via creative cloud now photoshop and bridge no longer work, they open then say they have encountered a problem and close, I also tried opening the old version of photo shop but getting the same result

What OS version? What's the exact error? Exactly when does the error occur? What previous versions? What is on the screen when the error displays? Does Photoshop get fully open?
Try opening Photoshop holding down Shift key immediately to turn off plug-ins. Lots of good suggestions here: Photoshop: Basic Troubleshooting steps to fix most issues

Simply sign out on the old computer and install on the new one. No magic involved beyond that (barring technical difficulties, of course).

I use this laptop as my home computer but do graphic design on it quite frequently for side jobs but I'm still on OS 10.6.8. My adobe Creative suite is a (not so legal) CS5 that had to be configured to work on this machine.
At work I am about to upgrade my 2010 iMac to the newest OS version and install the new Adobe Creative Cloud suite on it in June. I would like to get the full version, so I can run it on my MacBook too (you are allowed to run two computers with the software purchase) but will this even be possible with my older machine? I can't afford a new one...it doesn't even feel that old.
Also, if it IS possible, then how would I go about uninstalling my CS5? There was quite a bit of tinkering done - not by me so I don't know exactly what - to make it work.
So what should I do? Should I take in to a Mac specialist? Thanks in advance.

    Any solution ?

    Hi Harvester,
I've been having this issue for a while, and I FINALLY got it to work.  For what it's worth, here's what I did.
I was trying to send files from my laptop to my desktop and for some reason i saw that my desktop couldn't find my laptop.  I went to the Sharing settings and saw that under my "Computer Name" there was nothing there.  This may have happened due to my upgrade to Mavericks.  Once I placed filled that info in, and restarted my laptop.  Lo and behold, Creative Cloud and Growl started working side by side again
This may not be your issue, but I thought I'd pass it along.

  • Does creative cloud run on windows xp

does creative cloud run on windows xp.
what limitations are there with xp

Creative Cloud is a collection of 17 separate Adobe software titles.
Tech specs vary by application, all listed individually here: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tech-specs.html
    The main issues:
Lightroom 4 (now available in the Creative Cloud) will not run on Windows XP
    http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/tech-specs.html
Premiere Pro CS6 and After Effects CS6 will only run on 64 bit operating systems
Photoshop CS6 Extended: 3D features and some GPU-enabled features are not supported on Windows XP.
If you're running Windows XP 32 bit, you'll only see 14 software apps available for download since Lightroom, Premiere Pro and After Effects are not supported on that operating system.

  • Robohelp doesn't repond when I have Creative Cloud running?

About 3 weeks ago, I had to install Adobe’s Creative Cloud on my computer. The two apps that I downloaded from CC were, InDesign and Photoshop. I use RoboHelp 9 (soon upgrading to 11) daily.
when I run RoboHelp it becomes very slow, sometimes non-responsive. When I turn off the CC in the Task Manager, Robohelp instantly comes back to life.
Big issue, when I work remotely…I can’t get to Task Mgr. to turn off CC. I have to have someone in the office do this. It seems like when I either remote desktop or VPN into my system, it starts CC, because when I leave at night…I do not shut my system down.
Question: Can I just uninstall CC off my system and then when I ever need to upgrade InDesign or Photoshop, I can reinstall?  Any other suggestions? Very frustrating. Not a fan of CC!

In Preferences CC, I had already turned off Syncing. I turned off all notifications and deselected "Launch at Login. Didn't see anything specifically about "automatic check for updates," but hopefully this will fix it. I guess I will know tomorrow when I remote desktop in. I just had to turn off CC in task Mgr. again because Robohelp wouldn't open a file. I am hoping that the Launch at Login is what was triggering it. Thanks
