New to ipod touch - several issues and ?s - any help will be appreciated

Hello - I received an ipod touch for christmas and have been enjoying it tons! I’m having a “duh” moment…can you please help. How do I move the icons around from page to page? I was able to get it to work once - but don’t know how I did it and now can’t figure it out any more.
Two other questions… 1) when I downloaded a music video from itunes, it was saved under the “video” folder - well, it would not let me play it. An error would appear saying that it is unable to play the video. Then, the “graphic” beside the video, was of the cover of another movie I had purchased???
2) My music had been playing just fine. I had been downloading cd’s onto my ipod (thru itunes) on a computer at home, then I came into the office (because I do not have internet at home) and purchased songs via itunes store and ever since then, when I try to play music it scrolls really fast through the song titles and arrow flashes in the top right corner and there is not any sound. Sometimes it will also display a frame of one of the movies I have saved while doing this as well - but will not play any music and freezes.

How do I move the icons around from page to page?
Touch and hold your finger on one of the application icons. When they start dancing you can drag the icons where you want them. To get them to another page, drag them right or left to the edge of the page and the page will change.

I recently downloaded photoshop elements 10 for dummies on ipad and the images that the book refers to dont show all I see is a ? where the pic should be. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi, I recently downloaded photoshop elements for dummies from ibooks to use on my ipad, the book refers to pictures throughout however what are supposed to be pics and diagrams only show up as a ?. Im unsure why and dont know how to get the pictures to show. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
*Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
*Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
*Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
*Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Replacement System Discs can be obtained from Apple's Customer Support - US (800) 767-2775 for a nominal fee. You'll need to have the model and serial number of your Mac available.

Or you can purchase the applications from an Apple retail outlet, App Store or the Apple online store.

TS4062 I just received a new replacement Ipod touch 5th gen and restored it from cloud. It is showing up in my computer but not in itunes.

I restored a new ipod touch 5th gen from my cloud and cannot get it to connect to itunes on my computer. I restarted my computer and ipod. I reinstalled Itunes and It still won't show up in itunes. My computer recoginizes it but not itunes.

Ipod touch randomly connects and disconnects? help please!

Agh! I'm so frustrated! So basically, I'll plug in my ipod touch via USB 2.0 cable, and it on the screen the battery icon will come up like normal, then all of the sudden it will turn to my wallpaper like its not connected, then back to the battery and switch back and forth randomly! I've tried two different USB cables now and I get the same result with both! I know they work because my ipod charges fine with my AC wall charger thing. The next strange thing is the fact that whenever I plug in the ipod and it stays with the battery icon for a little while, a windows thing prompts that I have plugged in a camera, and asks what I want to do with it? I always just say cancel. Also if it switches from connect to disconnect long enough iTunes will come up with an error message saying something like "The iPhone "" could not connect... blah blah blah. (error code something similar to Ex80000035 i think.)" I haven't had trouble syncing in the past! It just started doing this out of the blue and all I want is to put some new music on my iPod!
Things I have already tried numerous times...
-uninstalling ALL things apple related on the computer and reinstalling.
-resetting ipod
-restarting computer
-using different USB cords
-using different USB ports
Please help! I really don't want to go back to the Apple store. Please and thanks! (Oh, and in case it matters, I have firmware 2.2, and the latest iTunes)

A couple of items...
It's possible that a cable can charge an iPod on a wall charger wonderfully, but not sync the iPod to the computer. One of mine are in that "half-broken" stage, so I just ended up leaving it in the system I use to connect my iPod to my television.
Regarding the error you're receiving when connecting the iPod... is the iPod jailbroken? If not, try creating a new user account on your computer and connecting the iPod there.
Creating a new user in Windows XP:
1. Go to Control Panel > User Accounts
2. Click on "Create new user"
3. Follow the prompts to create a new computer administrator
4. Restart the PC and log in to the new account
I know you've already uninstalled and reinstalled Apple software, but this recommendation doesn't hurt. Open your Control Panel and go into Add or Remove Programs. Remove Apple Mobile Device Support and iTunes. Then, open up My Computer, go to your hard drive, and open up the folder called Program Files. If you see a folder called Apple Mobile Device Support, delete it. Then, restart your computer, download a new copy of the iTunes installer from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and go through the installation.

Alright, I have access to two computers. One computer has Itunes, alls fine and dandy, expect the computer does not see that my ipod is plugged in at all. The ipod doesn't see that it is plugged in and will not charge. The other computer, after failing to update Itunes, will not allow me to download Itunes. I've uninstalled all of the applications connected with it and it still will not work. A bonus to the fact is that my ipod shows up as a camera. Now I've looked up solutions, tried them out, nothing. I'm about to throw my ipod at my computer.

For the first computer start here:

For the second computer, try completely removing and reinstalling all the Apple software:
'Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

HT1444 Have Mac OS v. 10.5.8 and Need i tunes for new iPad. My i tunes says I need quick time 7.5.5. I've searched but don't find it for my Mac which is Panther. Any help will be appreciated.

Good grief... time machine issue... any help would be appreciated.

So I bought a 750 gig internal HD for my mac pro. Exactly the same size as both my internal drives combined (I have a 250 and a 500). Time machine has been working great since November. No problems. Today however I get an error message telling me that Time machine doesn't have enough room to make a back up? What the heck does that mean? My understanding was that time machine wrote over old backups in order to continue to keep making new ones. Am I totally off base here? Do I need a 100tb hard drive to make backups with Time Machine? Any help would be appreciate as it looks like the only way it will let me make backups now is to wipe the hard drive clean and start over and I KNOW that can't be how Apple designed this thing, so I must be missing something.

Hopefully others will answer and join discussion But I have similar challenges going on
Unfortunately your 750g backUp drive may not be big enough
Here is what I recommend to find out for certain.
Go to backUp drive, look inside backUp folder that was created by Time Machine
(probably something like Backups.backupdb)
hilight first backUp folder do a command I (get info) ,
takes awhile but note the size of first backUp
probably very large
now get Info on all or most of the rest of your backUp folders
they should be much smaller as they are only new stuff
If the total of all folders reaches 750g then this is truly the source of your problem
If you're like me... 750g is nothing in the world of Video and graphics
it is eeeeasy to create this kind of volume of files
Once you backUp then remove files from Computer then subsequently
begin to fill your computer up with new files ... it is easy to exceed 750g
If this is your situation, then (I recommend) read thru support

and welcome to the world of owning huge multiple drives....
I think the large original backUp folder must be on same drive as all subsequent backUp folders
because TM references that original folder to make sure it only backsUp new stuff

If I back up my iPod Touch using iCloud and then restore it, will I be able to get back all my photos, app data, etc?

About 5 months ago I was clearing up space on my PC. I had moved music that was in my music folder onto a USB and I thought that I could do the same with my iTunes Library folder onto my USB. But it wouldn't fit, so I moved it back. But when I went to back up my iPod it didn't recognize it anymore. I haven't been able to restore it anymore. Just until now I'm trying to see if I could back-up my data & photos to iClod and then Restore it, but I'm just a little unsure. Can anybody just reasure me that this will OR will not work.

I don't really think that you need to restore your device in order to sync it again with iTunes. I suspect all that you need to do is connect the device to iTunes and then accept it as a new device and choose the option to start syncing with that library.
Of course, it would be a good idea to back up to iCloud before you did this.

Error 13 and 14: These errors are typically resolved by performing one of more of the steps listed below:
1. Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including a different USB port directly on the computer.
2. Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
3. Try a different USB 30-pin dock connector cable.
4. Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
5. There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your Registry. If your default packet size is set incorrectly it can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet size modification for assistance.
6. Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
7. Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

Having issue with GoFlex Seagate Driver Setting, Its always asking for the installation process whenever I am turning on my mac, any help will be appreciated.

Unfortunatly, I plugged-in one of my friends external hard drive, and its asked me for the seagate driver instalation, after that every time when I am turning on my system, its asking for the goFlex software instalation process.
I tried out some process by googleing, I tried to remove the complete segate from my system, still it didn't help me.
Please help me with, to remove a complete segate package.

The 3 point did help me, now its not all asking for the each time instalation for the same driver.
Here one question comes to my mind, by deleting the content of the temp folder for the segate and removing all the releated files from the application, library->application support, library->extension, library->LaunchAgents, I deleted all the releated files of segate, could you please let me know if I need to delete from any more location to avoid the garbage files.

Okay -- it fixed itself. Without any intervention, after all else had failed, and I was willing to live evermore with vertical searches. If only everything else in my house mysteriously recovered from the broken state.
Have no idea what was/is going on with the disappearing keypad.
