New to JHeadStart, unable to see JHeadStart Settings category in Tool pref
Hi all,
I have downloaded both JDeveloper 10.1.2 and Jheadstart
. Now As mentioned on oracle's below mentioned link

I have placed the JHeadStart's related files in JDev Folder .
The next step given on this link is
After starting JDeveloper 10.1.2, select Tools | Preferences... from the main menu. Select the JHeadstart Settings category, and enter C:\JHeadstart for the value of the JHeadstart Home property.
But when i start Jdev and select tools preferences
I am unable to see JHeadstart Settings category
Can anybody help ?

Hi Anant
Please make sure you are using Jdeveloper 10.1.2(Base installation if you already have jdk 1.4 or above ) and JHeadStart 10.1.2.
you can alos contact me on my mail id ,i will give you compleate installation guide (created by me).
Then perform all the step and dont forget to set java home in <YourJdevHome>\Jdev\bin\jdev.conf file.

I dont see Jheadstart Forms2ADF in my Jdeveloper 11g
Hi am very new to Jdeveloper. My requirement is, I want to convert a Oracle form to J2EE. I have downloaded and installed the Jdeveloper 11g. And then I selected the application FUSION WEB APPLICATION(ADF). And when I click on the Model -> New-> Business Tier, I am unable to see Jheadstart forms2ADF tool.
Someone Please help me how to include this tool and if possible provide me steps with converting forms to J2EE.
Note: I followed the demo given in Oracle site. But no use.

You can download an evaluation version of JHeadstart 11g through JDeveloper Check for Updates, but that evaluation version does not include the Forms2ADF Generator (see http://blogs.oracle.com/jheadstart/2010/04/jheadstart_11g_evaluation_vers.html ).
Licensed JHeadstart customers can download the fully functional version of JHeadstart through the Oracle Consulting Supplement Option at http://cso.oracle.com. Unable to see ALERT Category in RWB- Alert Config
Hi Experts,
I have created an Alert Category using Transaction ALRTCATDEF. I followed it as mentioned in Michal's blog.
In Runtime workbench --> Alert Configuration, under Select Alert Category, I am unable to see the Alert Category which I have created. Only if, I could see this Alert Category, I will be able to select this and Add Rule. I used filters to search and even tried to click Update Table. But still unable to see.
Why is it that I am unable to see the Alert Category which I have created. Basically, I login as PISUPER and created the Alert Category. Kindly advise.

When using the camera downloader in Adobe Bridge CS6 with Nikon D5200 we are unable to see previews of the photos and it is very slow to download. The issue occurs under a the users rights, but not under admin level. This is a new issue.

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.

4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.

NiteshThere is no option like "new from par" from ep 7.
Create an iview based upon portal components.

Unable to see Wi-Fi status after connecting to power source. After tapping Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync, the message reads: Sync will resume when "R300764AHWR001" is available. Could someone tell me how to sync my iPhone 3G to ITunes, please? Thank you. Jan
iPhone 3G doesn't support Wi-Fi sync or IOS 5.1.1. You have to connect to iTunes using the dock connector to sync.
Unless you have a iPhone 3GS or jailbroken. -
I am unable to see the images in Aperture trash, though there are a number indicated in the trash. I have "show all" selected. What settings am I missing?
You may have an invisible filter on your trash.
Try the "Double Caggiano", as described in Frank Caggiano's User tip:

got new iMac, I had completed the migration from PC to new iMac, but still unable to see all the apps and music that were saved from the old PC to new iMac. Please help.
My guess is the 30-day trial period has expired but you didn't remove the trial before installing the full version. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip. -

Unless you are already using iOS 5, you have to connect to your itunes (on your computer) by cable, and will not have the update option in your iPhone's settings.

CharlCheck your Apple TV is connected to the internet and that your iTunes store location is set correctly.
Try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router. -
I am unable to see any POP3 or IMAP tab when I set up an account in my iphone 4S. Hence by default all my email accounts become IMAP and the messages are deleted from the server when I delete them from the iphone.
ok sorry everyone but i solved it myself but the solution is so nuts i've posted it here to help others who have the same problem.
to setup a comcast imap account on your iphone:
go to mail, contacts, etc in settings
under accts, select add account
select "other"
new screen, choose "add mail account"
now on the new acct screen you must enter your name, email address and password for your GMAIL acct ! (yes i said your gmail acct !, or some other acct with a NON comcast address).
hit next
then the acct verifies
when verified a screen will open with all the acct settings for this acct AND @ the top of the screen are the 2 buttons > imap or POP
select imap and THEN CHANGE ALL THE ACCOUNT information to the comcast account !
then hit next and the account will take a couple minutes to verify but it will verify and now you have a comcast imap acct set up on your iphone. The problem must be that when the iphone sends the initial verify acct info to comcast (if you enter that information first) the comcast server is simply not setup yet to signal the iphone that there is an imap option. -
We have Lync 2013, Exchange 2010 and several AD
servers in mixed mode 2003/2008.
All user are unable to see their own profile photo
either in the main Lync window, in the settings or in a chat although other user can see that their photo is there and displaying. The user experiencing the issue can go open Outlook 2013 client and will see their photo displaying correctly in the file menu
(and elsewhere) here.
I have confirmed this happens with any new users I set up as well. We have gone through a fair amount of troubleshooting with other Lync photo issues and simple fixes such as deleting the SIP cache folder etc proves to be ineffective.
Our Cs-ClientPolicy Global is set to websearchonly.
We have "Replicate this attribute to the Global Catalog" set
for the ThumbnailPhoto attribute in AD.
We are also forcing photos from AD only (or no photo) by setting the following:
"Set-CsClientPolicy -Identity PhotosControl -DisplayPhoto
PhotosFromADOnly"
and finally we are importing the photo in ad using this PS command:
"Import-RecipientDataProperty -Identity "Test User"
-Picture -FileData ([Byte[]]$(Get-Content -Path "C:\pictures\testuser.jpg" -Encoding Byte -ReadCount 0))"
The pictures being uploaded are under 10KB in size.
I have followed many threads and will provide any information I can to help find the problem. Thank you in advance.

Unable to see field list in Excel 2013
Unable to see a list of fields to choose from when creating a pivot table. I only see the field table.

Did the issue occur in the special file or all the Excel 2013 file?
If the issue occur in the special file, it might be caused by the file self, I recommend you copy/paste it to a new/blank file to test.
If the issue occur in all the Excel 2013 file, it might be caused by the Excel15.xlb corrupted. It is located in your Windows user profile which varies with OS (Documents and Settings or Users).
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel.
Rename the file (Please note: If you don't backup it, you will lose any custom settings you may have made for Excel.) and then Excel will recreate it the next time Excel is opened.
If the issue still exists, please try to share us a sample file through One Drive, I want to test it.

5800 XpressMusic - V 50.0.005 - Unable to see all ...
I recently updated my phone 5800 XpressMusic to latest firmware V 50.0.005 (Customer Version 50.0.005.C03.01) but I am unable to see many changes. The only changes that I notice are - kinetic scrolling, change in the way browser displays the page and music library. Are these the only changes? Is there a way to check officially, what all changes, is this new firmware supposed to bring in?
