You're right ! But my printer is connected via the ethernet port and i need to use the print API to communicate with it. In ActionScript nothing works I tried to send the escape sequence that should open the drawer : String.fromCharCode(27)+String.fromCharCode(112)+String.fromCharCode(48)+String.fromCharC ode(53)+String.fromCharCode(53) ... it didn't work.
So i decided to call a little Java program (JAR) through the Air NativeProcess API. This program send the escape sequence to the printer using Java print API.

Open the Media application, then hit the [Menu] button and select Explore. An explorer like screen will appear - select Device Memory and find your file, highlight it and select Move, navigate back to your Memory card and put it there.

I have an enhancement request for bpelx:validate
bpelx:validate exception message is not machine parsable as the exeption message is "free text" this makes it hard to
parse the message and send it back to a client.
An example "exeption message" is :
<summary>Invalid xml document. According to the xml schemas, the xml document is invalid. The reason is: Error::cvc-enumeration-valid: Value '144'
is not facet-valid with respect to enumeration '[Z04, Z03, Z02, Z01, 31, 67,
94, 99, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 143]'. It must be a value from the
enumeration. Error::cvc-complex-type.2.2: Element 'Element-6063' must have no
element [children], and the value must be valid. Please make sure that the xml
document is valid against your schemas. </summary>
If multiple fields are incorrect the summary field is even harder to parse.
The error should be returned in a XML schema . This means what ever the error returned by bpelx: validate should be returned to Catch block. same summary should be received in catch. Please reply asap if anybody would have come
across already this and having solution. Thanks in advance.

You could use the Saxon schema-aware parser (http://www.saxonica.com/)
Saxon-B is that Saxon-SA is schema-aware: it allows stylesheets and queries to import an XML Schema, to validate input and output trees against a schema.
You could also have a look at Schematron (www.schematron.com)

#2 is about Parallels and WinXP ( i know i have to buy win xp to install it)
Question is once i do install it and i go to install games to i look at the winxp requirements or mac or doesnt it matter then since i can run in both environments?

A) 4-5 hours tops on low-mid brightness, and bluetooth and ir turned off.
B) Sorry, I don't watch films on my MacBook that often.
C) Don't know, but you will definitely drain a lot more battery if you play in Windows.

If you plan on gaming in Windows, I highly recommend using Boot Camp (built in to Mac OS X Leopard) rather than running Windows and Mac at the same time. Gaming in Parallels or VMware doesn't work very well. For windows games, look at the Windows XP requirements, and for Mac games, look at the Mac requirements.

FaceTime requests to my iPod AND iMac computer, which is not wanted.. please help! Need answers ASAP.

I just bought a iMac Intel. I was playing around with the settings and I typed in my Apple ID into the computer and connected my FaceTime to it. I also have a iPod touch (fourth generation) in which case, I have all my contacts on and information on. At first, it wasn't exactly working.. I think. I imported my contacts but they weren't showing up onto my contacts list, nor my contacts list on the FaceTime app. So, I logged out of my Apple ID and yes, there was a pop up asking me to delete all the information imported and I did press delete. But now, my iMac is logged out of my Apple ID. On the contacts list, it says there are no contacts. And it's literally empty. BUT, I'm recieving FaceTimes on my iPod which are also popping up onto the iMac. I went into my Settings, and literally everything was disconnected. In the contacts, there were none, 0. No iMessages. Nothing. But I'm still recieving FaceTimes to both devices, which I don't want. I need help trying to disconnect everything from the iMac, I do not want my FaceTimes also being recieved on there. PLEASE HELP ME, I AM STRUGGLING.
Also, how do you reset all the settings on there? Even if there is no solution to finding a way to stop FaceTimes to going to both devices, obviously, there is but, on my iPod there is a setting that says "Erase All Content and Settings", can you do that on a iMac? If yes, please tell me how. Somebody please help me, I'm actually very in the need of help.

Songs can only be transferred to the iPod. You can't transfer songs from iPod library to iTunes because of copy protection measures.
However there are apps available that will let you do that, but that cannot be discussed here.

Numbers question need answer asap

I am in need of a solution that will take a running total and post that total to another spread sheet.
Such as a running total on a check book. The last line in that column i want to automatically have it posted in the second spreadsheet, but since it will always be another block once something is either credited or debited it makes it impossible for me to think of a way to take that last value and post it since that value will only last a moment. Does anyone understand my dilemma. Please help.

at this time we can't exchange values between spreadsheets.
The only available soluce would be to replace the second spreadsheet by a complementary sheet in the main spreadsheet.
Of course, if you are really interested by the described feature, it would be a good idea to
*go to "Provide Numbers Feedback" in the "Numbers" menu*, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait for iWork'09

My iPhone's screen is unusable/broken on the right side of it so I can't enter the passcode on it and I can't access the Notification Center or the Control Center. Use Carbon Copy Cloner [I think there's another one called Super Duper too] and clone your HD to an external Firewire HD.

Thanks for your immediate attention. I'm in a big hurry to resize a file that was sent to me however it is a .sitx file and when I try to download it, it states that this file MAY contain an application and its not sure of the safety of it. This is a stuffed Adobe Illustrator file. Can someone tell me if this is an ok behavior and its ok to download? Its a file created on a mac I believe from a college. I just don't want to risk anything with no protection. Mac OS is smart, I wanna listen to it at the right points : )

1. Do you know and trust the source of the file? For example, a colleague?
2. Are they a Windows or Mac user?
3. Do you know if they made the file self-extracting with StuffIt?
If the answers to 1 and 3 are yes, and the answer to 2 is Mac, then it you have can have relatively high confidence the file is safe. If the answers to 1 is no, or the answer to 2 is Windows, then don't use the file until you can discuss it with the person who provided the file.
I suspect you are using Safari and this is a typical warning for any file that may appear executable, e.g. a self-extracting StuffIt archive.
This is also why you should install an anti-virus solution. Even if you disable automatic protection, you could check the file individually to assure it is safe, i.e. contains no known malware.

Depending on the phone you have, the PIN could be the last four numbers of your phone number (that's the default on a lot of phones). Or is this a PIN that you set yourself?
