You got ripped off. You bought a hacked/jailbroken phone. That's what error 1015 means. Return it and get your money back if possible and buy a phone from a legitimate source.
Discussing jailbroken / hacked phones is forbidden by the terms of service. Jailbreaking / hacking voids any warranty and forfeits your right to support here or from Apple. You can not get help here. -
When I open iTunes it is slow to open for one, and two when it does see my iPhone and i go to sync it this is what I get in return... The iPhone "My Name here" could not be synced because the iPhone could not be found on the network. that is a pop up box in middle of screen that says that it does it like every time I go to sync the phone after i do app updates. I am getting very frustrated by this can someone please help. I have made 2 other discussion topics about this and no replies on them. Please if anyone can help I ask for help. This has occurred ever since the iOS 5.1 update and the iTunes 10.6.0 and still continues with the iTunes 10.6.1 update just yesterday and perhaps even worse now. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN. I have looked through my network settings etc and everything looks good here on my side.

Yes, but extremely expensive - get an international roaming plan from AT&T.
If you mean use it with a local carrier, then no - all iPhones sold in the US are carrier-locked to AT&T. You're better off selling the phone to someone in the US and buying one in the Philippines. -

Do you have a wi-fi network in your home ? If you do then you should be able to connect your phone to it via Settings > Wi-Fi on your phone - that should show any networks that are available, and tapping on the network that you want to use (and typing in its password if it's password protected) should connect the phone to it. If you don't have a wi-fi network then yes, you will need wifi router in your home, which is connected to the internet (e.g. via your phone line) to be able to back up your phone to iCloud.

Ringtones from another phone will not work on iphone.
You will have to create iphone ringtones. Google will find several ways to do this.
Contacts, calendars,photos, etc should be on your computer. From there you can sync them to iphone. -

Why can I not get to the iPhone user guide in Safari ?
Just updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 6.0 last night. There's a lot of new stuff in here that I'd like to figure out. So naturally, I launched Safari on my phone, went to Bookmarks, scrolled down, and hit iPhone User Guide.
When I do that, I get a 404 error that looks like it's coming from a regular website, not from the mobilized site that used to contain the User Guide. This site has been dead all day today.
Is there a new way I'm supposed to be reading the help files on my iPhone under iOS 6.0? Why is the site dead?

Go to http://support.apple.com/manuals/#iphone with Sarari on your phone and create your own bookmark; or
Download the free iBooks app on your phone, then download the .pdf to your MBP, import it to iTunes and sync it to your phone by selecting it on the Books tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing. The manual will appear on the bookshelf in iBooks and you can tap on it and read it on your phone whenever your want. -
New Computer with Iphone - Help
Hi, i searched and found most of my answers but the one thing im not sure about is this. I just got a new PC becuase my old one was shot. I lost all my data i know that if i syc my iphone to the new pc i could merge my contacts but the one and most important this is the pictures that i TOOK with the iphone. Will they all be erased when i sync to the new PC ? If so what can i do to avoid this ?

Here is the breakdown. I just bought my wife a new iPhone 4s and I'm trying to decide how to set it up for her. Should she have her own Apple ID or use mine? If she uses my Apple ID, will that cause issues with iMessage - say when I'm chatting with someone else and vice a versa. Will our messages show up on each others devices? How will a FaceTime call work? Will the video call come across both our devices (ipad also)?
Just some information that might be of note:

What am I trying to achieve is having the ability for me (iphone, ipad) and my wife (iphone) to be able to share and sync just music, apps, movies, etc... I have Google Calender and I have not made up my mind yet if we will share a contacts list (I have large business list). Also this might be of note, I most likely will be using iTunes on my LG LCD TV (appleTV) at some point in the near future.
So, basically I'm confused, which is not unusual for me. If I'm thinking to much inside the box, please let me know and feel free to offer up any suggestions. Even if the suggestion is I'm not asking the right questions. Of course if that is your suggestion, then please tell me the question. And an answer would be nice to.

BentleyNo it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -

Hello hope your enjoying your summer I am having a lot of problems with my phone if some1 has my IMEI # is there any way to get them out of ur phone I BELEAVE my boyfriend of 10 yrs has my phone under control. What can I do? I have called apple, my phone carrier, and nobody can find anything. But I go into my accounts and stuff has changed, has stuff hidden that I can't see, but sometimes I come across them. I don't get any email notifications for icloud, apple, nothing in the last few days I have gotten 2 for a lady named penny I emailed her but it came back to me. And when I hit RSS feed and it go's to the App Store and it says it's down and when I download one it does not work I have 4 on my phone now and it does not pick up any of them. Is there anything I can do or do I need to sale my phone and get rid of the #. What I should do is get rid of the old man sad our relashionship has went to **** since he's figured these phones out even n the bedroom, I wore a dress first time I beleVe since we been together and to this day we just go to bed. I had to reformat my computer and the easiest way I had at the moment to save my photos was to just tranfer them to my phone. I guess I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to transfer them back to my computer. I've never had an iPhone and my last phone, I was able to tranfer them back and forth and delete which ever ones I wanted to. I'm just looking for anyway to save my photos back to my computer, but I would love if it was easy! Thanks!
He can select the pictures and share them with himself, which will put them in his shared album on his computer under pictures and icloud pictures. So they will then be in the shared folder under Pictures<iCloud Photos on his computer.
