New to tv. What do I have to install to start developing
Hello,
I am not new at java at all but completely new to java tv.
What application do I have to install in order to develop? Please provide link if possible.
Can I work with jbuilder or eclipse as usual?

I have CS4 installed on this computer but computer is failing and I will have to get a new one. Do I deactivate on each product or will a single deactivation cover all? Also, I see that all products are now on the cloud so is CS4 still an active product?
With any Suite, launch one app (e.g. Photoshop) and click Help > Deactivate to deactivate the entire suite.
CS4 has not been an active product since CS5 shipped in 2010. We've since had CS5, CS6, CC (subscription only) and now CC 2014 (subscription only).
Also, it depends on what you mean by active. You can still download, install and activate CS4.
However Adobe no longer does any work on CS4 and no longer supports it via Customer Service Chat etc. -
What do I have to install with Xmonad ?

Looking at http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?name=Haskell I see packages flagged out of date for quite some time: a month, two, more.
I'm not using haskell so I might indeed be misinterpreting things.
I checked out those flagged ones - seems orphaned or unknown packager
I myself don't use haskell so I wouldn't know if those packages have been deprecated - would be wise to have it addressed -

I want to download and install cs5 on a new macbook air. (I already have it installed on my iMac)
I just got a new mac book air. I want to download and install photoshop cs5 on the new laptop. I already have purchased it and have it installed on my iMac desktop.
I tried moving my copy of PShop CS4 from my old mac book, but got an error code 150:30. So I thought downloading CS5 from adobe would be easier.Transfering will not work due to the way the software is tied in with the machine when it is installed. You need to install it.
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

I am very new to my iphone. I have icloud intalled and though updates would be installed automatically. Why am I being asked to update?
Thank you for your reply. Another question, if I may ask, is when I sign on to icloud, it asks me to verify my account, yet is permits my access to it. I am thinking perhaps if I knew how to verify it, then perhaps when my phone is in use, the updates will be downloaded automatically as I was told they would be when I first signed on with icloud. Confusing? Sorry, I kind of "jungle" my words. I do not have Wi Fi only Bluetooth from icloud.

hi all, i'm going to pick up a Mac Mini this thursday with the intention of developing for the iOS platform. i just wanted to know what i'll need to do to begin developing so i can begin as soon as possible. i know i'll need XCode and a developer license from Apple. will i need anything else?

Get the largest monitor you can afford.
Get an iPhone and iPad for testing.
Update Lion to 10.7.3 and use Xcode 4.3.1
Get a good image edtior, text editor and if you intend to do video and audio, apps to edit and manage those resources as well. See the (Mac) App Store.

HT4528 Help. New ID. What will I have to pay for?
I changed my email address and did not know that I could not change my phone and pad to the new ID. I just wanted to get rid on the old email. I cant reactivate it I have tried. I read in here that if I do change my phone and pad to the new ID I will have to pay for stuff again. What stuff? Apps? Books? Music? I dont so much care about the apps and books. I DO NOT want to pay for music again. Help!

I am not sure if this is a plugin or extension. All I know is that it worked with the old version of Firefox. It is very important to me to be able to use this feature. Any help would be appreciated.
THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED FOR ME.
When I opened this pop-up to view the settings (File > Page Setup > "Format & Options": Scale ), the Scale value was 40%. Changing it to 100% corrected the issue I observed.
To my knowledge, I have not been inside this pop-up window before to set the Scale option. Could this value be affected by other actions within Firefox? I noticed this while using v12 which was installed 24Apr2012.I know it worked correctly since that installation, so why did the Scale value change?
UPDATE: I just realized that the Scale option in print preview sets the Scale value in the settings. NOTE TO ALL: This is a sticky setting, not just a setting for a specific output request. -
I just created a document in Pages. Now when I try to open my document in Pages I am given a message that I need a newer version of Pages to open it. When I go to the Appstore it shows that I have already downloaded the latest version.
You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

What if i have re-install ? what is my serial number .....
I have been a Windose user for many years, but NEVER EVER again , i have now completely washed my hands of Bill Gates stuff. But all the years i was using Windose, every time I Installed or Re-Installed Windose i had to get the Serial Number exactly right and then you had to Activate, as if they didnt trust you to have only one copy of your Disc only running on a single computer. then when you download a Service Pack a little later, you had to let a bit of software check up again if you were legitimate !.
But in the new world of Mac and Apple over the last couple of weeks, i realise i havent got a Serial Number, i havent had to Activate anything and it looks as if i can reinstall the whole operating system extremely easily, so will i ever get or need a serial number ?, unless it is something to do with the serial number stamped on the underside of the case ??????

Click the Apple icon at the upper left of your screen and select +About this Mac.+ That shows some basic info. Click where it says +Version 10.6.7,+ and it will show the Build number, which you'll probably never need. Click again and there will be your Mac's serial number.

What databse I have to install for SOA11g installation on Windows platform
Hi,
I want to install SOA11g on my Windows laptop. I have installed 10g XE (10.2.0.1) database. But when I tried to create the Dehyderation store using RCU tool, the error I got is like, the datasbase version will not support for this installation, however its asking to upgrade it to 10.2.0.4 version. But I didn't find any patch for XE database on windows to upgrade to the required version.
I also tried to install the 11g enterprise database, but I am not able to succede. There I have faced one issue, that using RCU tool I am not able to connect the database as a SYSDBA. So I have dropped this DB and shifted to XE. Now I have stuck with XE version problem.
Is there anybody who installed the SOA11g on the windows platform per personal usage? If so please guide me.
