New touch zen wont turn
i just got a new zen touch and the thing wont turn on brand new just opened do i have to charge it first before i even turn it on thx

No. The adapter will power the player without the battery. Sometimes the player can lockup so a reset is worth a try, but clearly that hasn't helped.
Sounds like either the adapter or player is faulty. If you bought it locally then return it there, otherwise you'll either want to return it to the retailer or via Creative support.

My iPod Touch (5th generation with the latest iOS software update) was working perfectly fine earlier up until I went on facebook and turned it off. It already had a low battery, and so I thought it had just shut down because it needed charging when it didn't turn back on. I plugged it in and tried turning it on, but it still didn't turn on, so I charged it for an hour. It still wont turn on, and none of the other threads have helped me.
My home-button is stuck (for like the 5th time in 3 months) and everyone says you need the home-button to reset it. (Like the home-button and power together)
I remember my tablet having a little button to reset it with, which I used to fix my tablet when it had a similar problem like this, but the only thing like a button is by the turn on/off button of the iPod. How do I reset it?
ALSO THIS IS PROBABLY IMPORTANT: My iPod will no longer charge or connect to the computer. I plugged it in to both my wall-charger and both computer and it still wont charge or connect. I'm pretty sure my iPod is supposed to feel warm when charging for a while, but it's super cold. Any help available? I'm not sure if I should go to the Apple repair place or something... I heard that they cant help me very much, and will only suggest to buy a new one.
(If nothing works then I'll just go buy an iPhone 5c to replace the iPod. Don't say I should just do that- I want to at least try to save my iPod)Not Charge

My iPod Touch 4th generation wont turn on!
I left my iPod couple days without charging (he was with less than 20% of charge). Yesterday when I finally went charge he not started. I put to charge but any screen was shown. I tried to reset pressing the power and the home button while 10 seconds and after taht still pressing only the home button till the Apple's logo appears. I tried this several times but without sucess. My iTunes not recognizes him.
Please, help me!Try restoring following the steps here. You may need to use DFU Mode. Try a hard reset first by holding the buttons down at least 15 seconds.

i dropped my i pod touch 5g on its face (without case) one night. A couple days later it randomly shut down. Throughout the days after it shut down it would turn on sometimes for about 10 seconds but now it wont turn on at all. Ive tried charging but it wont turn on AT ALL. Ive also tried plugging it in to a computer to get the pictures off but it wouldnt turn on so i couldnt.The only reason why i havent tried restoring it is because i want the pictures off. if you know the answer or atleast anything please tell me. if there's not liquid or accidental damage (like have you ever dropped it?) a repair would be free.

Hello im having trouble with my laptop that is given to me its a little bit old at least a 2 year.Its a Hp pavilion dv6 i7 processor and running on Windows 7. But im having a problem i just got my new battery from Saudi and at first it runs fine but after wards whenever i open my laptop it wont turn on unless i plugged in the charger and when i open it and i check in the bottom right it says charging it it is in 70% ,Worst part is whenever i unplugg it turns off instantly... Also whenever i play minecraft a few minutes it shutdowns instantly i dont know but i just got this heat sync they call cleaned and repair a few days ago and it is not as hot as the past several days but that instant shutdown still occurs.. I may be being a bit stupid here but my keyboard wont turn off. i press the power button on the side but when i press a key it works. i noticed the battery level got very low even though ive only used it for a few days.
any help would be most appreciated, as i dont want to have to take the batteries out everytime,This is normal. To turn the keyboard off, you press and hold the power button for several seconds (about 4-5 seconds). When powering the keyboard back on, the green light will turn on for a few seconds and then will go off (not sure why the light goes off...to conserve battery?). Even though the light is off, the keyboard is actually still on. According to the documentation, the keyboard will go into a standby mode when not in use. It will "wake up" when a key is pressed. However, as mentioned above, to physically turn the keyboard off, you press and hold the power button.

hey this is my first post so sorry if info isnt right but can someone please try to help..
i had the zen 6gb for a xmas present and have only used it a couple of times but now it wont switch on. I fully charged it and took it to work to listen to and it wouldn't switch on at all. when i got home i pluged it back into my pc and it did eventually charge. I switched it back off once fully charged and have just tried to switch it back on and its not turning on again. i have once again pluged it back in and it wont respond to anything, has anyone else had this problem and is my player faulty and needs replacing?

sophI have a similar problem. I just recieved my Zen 8GB in the mail yesterday. I brought it to a full charge and transfered a few songs to it. Tested it out and it worked great for 4 or so hours. I then attached it to my PC to transfer a larger amount of my music library to the player.
When done I unplugged the player and it immediately powered off. I tried to turn it on, the Creative logo fires up, then I get a garbled white screen and it powers down (never gets to the ZEN logo).
If I plug it back into my PC it poweres up all the way and goes to the "Docked" screen.
Naturally, I tried resetting the device to no avail so my next course of action was to upgrade the firmware. I did so (to .2.0 released about a week or so ago) and that did not resolve the issue. So I booted up into the service mode (holding down play while pressing power) and the player boots up fine and holds its powered-on state. So I'm not positi've its the battery.
At this point I did a full flush of the firmware through the service screen?and re-installed the latest release that way. Still no dice. The player will not get past the "creative" logo when booting from the battery.
I have attained an RMA and will be sending the player back to Creative today. I'm concerned that they will plug it in and see it boots to docking mode and send it back to me as is. Personally, I'm quite upset that I could not locate a customer service telephone number online and that the text-box through which you explain your issue for the RMA only allows about 200 characters.
Overall experience so far (not owning a product for a full day and discovering I need to be without my new product for up to 5 additional days, not being able to TALK with a customer service representati've to fully explain my issue) has not been a good one. Lets hope it comes back in working order. -
I was using an app which crashed and then my ipod turned off. i tried to restart it but it stays on the black screen with the loading sign for hours. i've tried to hold down the home and lock button, which just ends up with it stuck on the loading screen. itunes recognises it, but it wont charge or turn on when plugged in?
