Thanks for sharing your use case. I have a few questions if you don't mind:
1) What file formats are typically found within these compressed containers? For example, html, xml, txt, pdf, MS Office, etc.
2) Do these compressed containers ever have other embedded compressed containers within them? For example, a zip file containing other zip files within it.
3) If the intention is to process document files, do any of the document files have other document formats embedded/nested within them? For example, a MS Word document with a spreadsheet embedded within it.

Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) SM37 job log (give BIrequest name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish.
3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.
You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the cube.

Billing posting for intercompany delivery process

Hi all
we configured a new process for intercompany billing to use a standard PO for delivery between a warehouse and a store both in different co codes. Process is based on vendor and customer defined in retail sites both WH and store. Eg. WH site code D002 with assigned vendor D002 and customer D002. Similar for receiving store RA01, vendor and customer RA01.
Financial entries for delivery and billing posting are done between thses AP/AR accounts. As we have several warehouses and lots of stores will become difficult for finance to reconcile it.
Request is to have one generic customer assigned to all warehouses and one generic vendor assigned to all stores, this reducing (in FI view only).
my questions:
1. is any way to configure in FI or Billing for a several customers with different codes FI entry to be posted to one AR account only in issuing company and similar for several vendor accounts during MIRO FI entry to be posted in one AP acount only?
2. On standard intecompany delivery, since we use only one document in both companies (PO) what is the way to do a reconciliation betwen PO issued and booked at receiving site. Like transaction codes eyc.

Hi,
My suggestion would be to go with the DIP Profile with the material determination.
In your case it would be the travel expenses.
Create a WBS elemenent where these services are being used and make it as billing element.
Assign a sales order with this this material and assign this DIP Profile in Sales Tab-B.
DP81, ODP1 are the Tcodes you can look for..

Javascript works for text field, but not date ??

Hi,
I'm trying to calculate work-day hours based on a start and end date range, as the dates are changed (using onChange event). I tend to do this kind of thing in chunks, so I started with a very basic script that should simply update 1 item with the value of another, when it is changed.

html_GetElement('P51_UPDATE_TO').value = html_GetElement('P51_UPDATE_FROM').value;
As log as P51_UPDATE_FROM is a text field, P51_UPDATE_TO updates fine. If P51_UPDATE_FROM is a date field however (as it should be), P51_UPDATE_TO doesn't udpate at all. Any ideas why this might not work with a date field update?

After playing around a bit more, I notice that manually typing in a new date will trigger the onChange event, but I can't get it to work when using the date picker...is there a way around this?

New entries created for RPTQTA00 with the same data

Hi,
Whenever I run RPTQTA00, it creates a new record in IT2006. If i run the report again, another record is created with the same data. How can i prevent this? It should only update the existing record.

i am trying to create a new permanent group for texting in the future. surely an iphone 4 will create and save a specific group of certain people to send texts too later on.. please tell me how to create and SAVE new group?? its really important i figure this out and i appreciate your time and help. thank you

The only way to create groups for messaging is by sending a message to everyone in the group, and as long as you never erase the messages from the chaat it will always appear in your conversations in the messages app. Unfortuneatly there is no way to organize contacts into groups in any iOS as of now. They will add many new group chat features in iOS8, but you will not be able to upgrade to it when it does come out because you are using an iPhone 4.

How can I fix an error where Firefox temporarily opens a blank new window every time I try to post a text reply on any YouTube video?

I'm not sure when it first started occurring, however, I recently noticed that ANY time I have tried lately to post a text reply to ANY video on YouTube, Firefox will open an "about:blank" screen for about 1-2 seconds, and close it. I will not get to make my reply and everything seemingly goes back to normal.
If I open the same video URL in I.E. 11.0, I have no difficulty whatsoever posting text replies to ANY videos, so something is going on with Firefox.
The thought had crossed my mind to uninstall/reinstall Firefox, and I know there's no harm in doing so, but I figured I'd come here first, in case someone who knows Firefox better than I, has an even simpler solution, or in case the uninstall/reinstall idea wouldn't have worked anyway. Please let me know what y'all think about this.

Data services stop working after updating to new OS version for Q10

I am from Qatar, after i updated my device ( Q10 SNQ100-3 ) to new OS ( 10.2.1.537 ), the mobile data services stopped working, but it works everytime I connect to wifi. This is the same with Z10. Please need help.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT

Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive
2) Reboot
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

QM action not allowed for DTP requests in master data and Text tables

Hi,
I have a master data object load request which has failed, returned error in st22 and job finished.
BUT the request has not turned red in the monitor - it's still yellow. That means that I can not delete request nor start new load to infoprovider because it believes a request is still running. But it's not, I've checked both sm37, sm50 etc.
When trying to manually change QM status to 'red' it says 'QM action not allowed for DTP requests in master data and Text tables'
How can I force QM status to red so that I can move on?
Running NW2004s BI (7.0) Patch 15.

I know how frustrating this problem is even in netweaver 7.0 environment. I found a solution for this problem atlast and it works but a not direct way of resolving this issue.
When this request is in yellow status and not able to change / delete the request, its actually in a pseudo status and it is a bug in the program. This request sits in table RSBKREQUEST with processing type as 5 in data elements USTATE, TSTATE and this 5 is actually "Active" status which is obviously wrong.
All we need is, ask your basis person to change the status to 3 in both these data elements and then it allows to reload the delta. Once the delta is successfully loaded, you can delete the previous bad request even though it is still in yellow. Once the request is deleted, the request status gets updated as "4" in table RSBKREQUEST.

I`m trying to read data from text file. However I`m not sure whether the data is in 1st line or nth line. Now I`m trying to read the text from the readline. But if text is "" and not NULL then my code fails. So I want to know how to check for new line character and go to next line to find the data. Please help.

You are calling the readline() only once which means you are reading only the first line from the file...

I updated ny phone to the new OS version and all her texting is showing up on my phone. I understand if i create an apple account for her I will not see her texts. Recently we bought a Mac and created a new apple account for her. How do I synched her phone with new apple account and get access to the music library under my account on the new MAC laptop before I update her phone to the new OS?
Going forward if I purchase music under my apple id and want her to have it on her device, how can I acheive that?

You can continue to share an Apple ID for purchases.
Sign her in to her new account here:
Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (Keep on Phone if you want to transfer contacts, calendars, etc...) then sign in with her new ID
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Apple ID > Sign out then in with new
Settings > FaceTime > Apple ID > Sign out then in with new

Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID

I recommend that you
Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.
