New TV Tuner Drivers

there was a thread somewhere before where someone had found some updated BETA drivers for the MSI TV@nywhere Master card but it seems to have gone now
i've been using them for a while now, and they're very stable, and the picture quality has improved somewhat
they say they are for the Master version of the card, but i think they may work on the Mega PC version, the only difference is the Master has a AM/FM tuner as well
anyone having stability probs in media center III might want to try them out and see what happens...

I have recently built a MEGA 180 and have an MSI TV Master card, and have had a lot of problems with it. Currently I can only use the Svideo for tv capture the decoder will not tune into any channels so I figured it may be the drivers.
I can use the master PVS driver but this causes problems with Media centre 111.
I will try this driver to see if it improves matters

I can get down as far as step 11 but it shows nothing about upper filters and when I type on "If the Upper Filters entry is missing follow these instructions" nothing happens
Do you mean you can't see the instructions on what to do if there is no UpperFilters entry?
If so, here's the relevant instructions for that step:
On the right side of the Registry Editor window, right-click the UpperFilters entry and choose Modify from the shortcut menu.
Right-click the empty white space within the right-hand portion of the Registry Editor window. From the shortcut menu, choose New > Multi-String Value.
Name this new value "UpperFilters" (without the quotes). Then, right-click the newly created UpperFilters entry and choose Modify from the shortcut menu.

I tried reinstalling and still get the same message. when I ran the i Tunes diagnostics is says that the high and low filters are missing.
when i was having trouble with my optical drive(before Dell sent me a new one) the dell tech support representative had me delete some reg. files to try to fix the problem. I was told this would not affect the new drive when i install it or any of my existing programs. here is what he had me do....

how can i get this message box to stop poping up every time i open i tunes? otherwise i tunes works fine. it still rips cd's. I just keep getting this message even after reinstalling i tines.

I created a new i tunes account and I am trying to add music to my I pod touch but since I had an old account it will not let me add any new songs or let me transfer my existing songs to the new account. I also purchased one song and it did not download

I just opened a new I tunes account. The music that I purchased from an old account will not transfer to my new account & the old account email no longer exists it is (djbdeercreek613@com***t.net) and the password would not be accepted when we entered it. I also purchased one song "Country Must Be Country Wide" By Brentley Gilbert and it did not download to my i-pod. please let me know how I can get this problem taken care of.

Apple IDs do not go out of existence. All purchases are PERMANENTLY associated with whatever ID was used for the purchase. Go here to investigate.

How do I move my songs from Ipod to a new I tunes account

I had to create a new I tunes account on my laptop windows 7. I want to load my songs from my Ipod Touch (old I tunes account) on a computer I no longer have access to. Is this possible?

How can you add cds on the new i-tunes

Like a idiot I uploaded the new i-tunes softwear. Its ******* **** and now cant add any new cds to my libary of 3500 cds. You cant create new folders to name after the artist or add the new cd to the folder. I dont use use i-tunes downloads as will only buy physical albums. Can you down load the old i-tunes softwear.

Duplication of songs in my new I-Tunes library

I don't know why numerous songs are duplicated in my new I-tunes library on my new Dell computer. Others have single entries. Some of the duplicated song entries have an "exclamation point" next to them. I don't know what that means. When I tried to delete the DUPLICATE songs from my I-Tunes library, then the REMAINING song entry would not PLAY...and the message said that the SONG could no longer be found on my computer.
I still have the DELETED songs in my recycle bin and I could restore them. But I also wonder if they are in DUPLICATE IN MY I TUNES LIBRARY, are they taking up more memory space?
Any help is dearly appreciated

If one copy of each duplicate has the same Date Added, then you could sort the list of duplicates by that date and delete the ones with, or without, that date

I want to disable banner sheet in new v4 print drivers.

I have a print server 2012 r2 on work and have installed several xerox printers on it with the new v4 class drivers.
I want to ask how can i disable banner sheet on this new drivers. Is there any powershell command to do that because i cant do that in the setings of the printer like in v3 drivers. This will save us money on paper because most of the employees print one
or two pages and the printer print another page as banner sheet.

There's a registry key that defines the separator page here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers\<printer name>
Called Separator File. Set that to blank and restart the spooler service. If the value isn't defined there, I'd guess it's defined on the printer itself and you either have to manually adjust in on the device control panel, access
the device's internal configuration web site and adjust it there, or leverage Xerox provided APIs.
There may be a more Powershell way to configure it, but I couldn't readily find one.
That setting isn't typically defined by default, are these new printers? Are they only newly installed on your 2012 print server? I'm just as curious that a banner page is unexpectedly defined as the fact that you can't access the configuration
through the normal gui.

New i Tunes - wont start up - error message

I am having issues with the new i Tunes installation. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times at this point, and I cant open i Tunes I get an error message saying
" iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Its that little gray box that is the same as when a program freezes, and u can send microsoft the error report.
But i cant even open i tunes!

So after contacting apple, heres the solution. Make sure u do all steps, and do both.
Completely Remove iTunes and QuickTime (Click for more)
Note: Songs you purchased from the iTunes Store or imported from CDs are saved in your My Music folder by default and are not deleted by removing iTunes.
Quit iTunes.
On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
Windows XP and Windows 2000: In Control Panel, open Add or Remove Programs.
Windows Vista: In Control Panel, click Uninstall a program. Alternately, in Classic View of Control Panel, click Programs and Features.
Select iTunes from the list of currently installed programs, then click Remove or Uninstall.
In Windows XP and Windows 2000, when asked if you would like to remove iTunes, select Yes.
In Windows Vista, if your permission is needed to continue, click Continue.
After uninstalling iTunes, do not restart if you are prompted to.
If other entries were present for iTunes remove those as well.
In Add or Remove Programs or Programs and Features, remove any iPod Updater applications that are listed in the same fashion as iTunes was removed.
In Add or Remove Programs or Programs and Features, remove any QuickTime installations that are listed in the same fashion as iTunes was removed.
Restart your computer.
After the computer restarts, open Local Disk C: in My Computer/Computer or whichever disk programs are installed on.
Open the Program Files folder.
Right-click the iTunes folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. Note: This folder may have already been deleted if iTunes was successfully removed in steps 1-8.
Right click the iPod folder and select Delete a nd choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion.

Right-click on the Recycle Bin and on the shortcut menu, click Empty Recycle Bin.
Restart your computer.
Install the latest version of iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download.
Empty your Temp directory and restart (Click for more)
On the Start menu, click My Computer/Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
In My Computer/Computer, open Local Disk C:.
Windows XP and Windows 2000: Open Documents and Settings.
Windows Vista: Open Users.
Double-click the folder that bears your username.
Windows Vista only: If you see an AppData folder, double-click it and skip to step 12. If you don't see an AppData folder, skip to step 9.
Windows XP only: If you see a Local Settings folder, skip to step 12. If you don't see a Local Settings folder, proceed to the next step.
Windows XP and Windows 2000: From the Tools menu, choose Folder Options.
Windows Vista: From the Organize menu, choose Folder and Search Options.
Select the "Show hidden files and folders" button.
Click OK.
Double-click Local Settings or Local folder (If on Windows Vista, you must first double-click the AppData folder). If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
Right-click on the Temp folder and on the shortcut menu, choose Delete.

I re installed twice and error message is still there. Try to burn CD and message says: Disc recording not found.

Spoke to Dell support for 2 hours. Reinstalled updated drivers for CD DVD drive but same results.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

Where is your computer's backup for all important data such as documents, photos, contacts and which should include your iTunes library stored on an external drive or some other external media used for backup purposes only? Or did you lose all your data? The iPhone is not designed or intended to be used as a backup storage device.
