New update 8.70 problems in Nokia C3-00

due to this update my mobile can not play some 3gp videos and also give errors in games.When i play some games my mobile held or out of memory error and i can't open mails with the help of WIFI pls solve my problem.

Have you tried restoring the phone to factory settings after the update? If you have done this, and it still isn't working, perhaps there is an application that you have installed that is causing conflicts in the phone's operation.

the new updated version is even worse than the original.....

I have done that, several times.
So this is where I'm at now - last night, immediately after finishing a movie that was on my WD hard drive, which holds all of my media, music, movies - I restarted my computer and then it would not read the drive. It said it was unreadable.
I brought the Mac and the drive into an apple store today - they said basically it was my hard drive causing the issues. I used my iPod classic as my media back up as the 160 gb could hold all my stuff. Well, as I mentioned previously, that can't sync and I restored it, with no success. So in essence I lost my media drive and the back up. Tough to swallow, I'm angry, I think it's still mountain lion causing the drive to fail.
So I resolved to go home and restore my computer to one of my time machine back ups and do a Snow Leopard reinstall. Well, the moment I returned from the apple store, the time machine drive is now listed as unreadable. I called support, spent hours with them - I now have two drives which fried within 10 hours of each other in the same error. The senior support manager agreed it sounds like mountain lion is indeed corrupting my drives somehow. My iMac currently won't start into the recovery disk. So I went out spent $200 to get a new hard drive, which I am now backing up my data onto with a new Time machine.
In the last week, I've lost my iPod classic, iPhone 4, two external hard drives and now possibly even the Mac itself. I'm going to install snow leopard and see if it alleviates any of my issues, or hopefully can read my drives. I truly believe Mountain Lion is the problem.

After installing new update...problem

which includes prokit and several updates for ilife 08 via the automatic updater, my internet absolutely creeps compared to how it used to run. I've had my macbook pro for a couple of months now and have had no problems until this last update. I searched the forums for remedies but since I'm relatively new to macs, a lot of the terms and remedies are a bit foreign to me, so I apologize if other posts covered the same topic. Any suggestions on reverting the computer to settings prior to the update or another workaround. The net is slow on both Safari and Firefox. It's like the browser is hung for 7 to 10 seconds then will load the page. Thanks in advance for help.

So new/old set of Safari problems has cropped up. I just recently installed Leopard with corresponding updates, also partitioned some space for Windows that I need to run.
Same internet "hang" problem is happening. The page loads but hangs for 10 seconds before doing so. I've looked in the input folders but nothing is there. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Please can anyone tell me how to stop my 4s iPhone running down on the battery (despite fitting a brand new battery) and not holding charge for more than half a day - will the new update cure this problem?

My iPhone 4s will not hold a battery charge longer than half a day even if charged all night. I am now updating to 8.1.3 - does anyone know if this will make any difference?

Thank you for your help - I had the battery replaced in a phone shop in Bournemouth and think I need to take my phone in and ask them to check the battery but I have to have an operation on Thursday this week and may be a couple of weeks before I get chance to take the phone in - thank you for your helpful advice which I very much appreciate.

New updates FACEBOOK creates PROBLEM

Since I did the facebook upgrade I can't save nothing on my calendar. If I put an appoitement for exemple it save then as soon as open facebook and close it everything is lost once again please help I use my calendar for work as well

Hi and welcome to the forums!
I would suggest you look at your device default services values and see if Facebook is listed as a value.
Click on the Options icon
Choose Device
Click Advanced System Settings
Choose Default Services
Change the appropriate organizer data that is affected to the default
I'll try to find an article that describes how the default services function.

Flash player not working after new update

After the new update, I 'm unable to play the flash video on few sites such as PBS Frontiine which used to work fine an hour bedfore update and I was always able to see such video since I got my N900, 4 month ago. it asks to install flash player. I own 2 Nokia N900 and have not updated one of my uniits. the unit with old SW, the flash video works as always and properly. I 've reinstalled the new update and same problem. Have a friend who also expeiencing same issue after update. Hesitant to update my other N900 the works properly.
Is there a patch for te flash player or is this is a flaw?
Does anyone know if there is possibility of being able to reload previous SW?

I am wondering and would like to know why has there yet to be a new updated fw available for the Nokia N95-3? All the other versions have received fw updates, the N95-1, N95-2, and N95-4. Is there a problem that there is no new fw update yet for N95-3? Where is it!? I would like to be able to use the phone, know it has the up to date fw available for it to be more stable and working properly. I know I will have problems with this phone when I get a 16gb micro sd hc card because the firmware has yet to be updated! Nokia can't neglect the US customers who have bought their phones! If this keeps up I will definitely not buy a Nokia in the future.

After new update my back up is freezing up

I was able to download the new update with no problem. When I try and sync my phone now, it acts like its backing up but never progesses.

there is no 'australian' model, trust me, i would know, so you'll need to find out which region your device originated from. i too live in australia, but i imported a US model.
hk model has no fm transmitter, and i believe some european models may be missing it (unconfirmed).
fm transmitter only works with audio streams. ie. music streams, or audio streams from a video. so go to your music player, play a song, tap the bar on top, hit fm transmitter, choose frequency and enable it, then it should stop outputting the audio through the n900 speakers.
then just tune in your fm radio (either from a car or a hi fi) to the frequency that you set it to on the device, bring the device close to the antenna of the fm radio device (preferably on the same/similar plane to the antenna (ie vertical) and your fm radio should pick up the audio from the device.
on a side note, if you were expecting something like a walkie talkie, you can download recaller widget, i think you can speak using that and broadcast it over fm and a friend can tune in, but these things dont have the transmitter strength for long range. there is an fm tx boost 'app' in the apps manager that boosts the transmission strength from 111/112 units to 118 units, for about 2m more range.

Is It Just Me Or Are The New Updates To The IPhone Messing Up My Phone?

Ok, so ever since the IPhone 4 came out, there have been more software updates to previous IPhones which is normal, but I've had problems. Actually, EVERYONE who I know that has an IPhone has been having problems with the new updates. By problems I mean my phone freezes all the time, all my apps crash, my keyboard is all jacked up, my phone randomly shuts off and the list continues...so annoying. I'm not a very technical person but I relate the problems to the new updates. Honestly, I think it's been happening as a way for Apple to make us buy the new IPhone...all the problems are starting to convince me to trade it in for an IPhone 4. They win.

YES! YES! YES! It totally hosed mine. Of ocurse, let me preface this by saying that my iPhone has been a piece of crap since day one. I have a 3G. When I first got it I could barely hear anyone on my phone even turned all the way up. After the frist update I did it was somewhat better but not great. After last one I did, it would shut itself off when I was texting or using the internet. A LOT! I could be sitting right beside my husband and have no bars. And he'd have wifi and I couldn't get it. Not a foot apart! Wrote Apple. They sent me a phone to use while they were fixing mine. This one does the same exact thing. I will NEVER have another iphone!

The new update caused several problems:
The first screen font is oversized Too big to fit on the screen.
The next screen to so small I can't read it.
All my contract's information is gone
This is totally frustrating!!
Can I uninstall this update?

That is for the first method(s) I mentioned...you can load any OS version that it offers. But, the offer is 100% controlled by your carrier, not by BB.

That is the AutoLoader method, which allows you to not be constrained to what your carrier has control over, and so you can install any OS version for which you can find an AutoLoader.

Nokia C7 New Update

hi guys ,
i have just downloaded the new update from Nokia to my C7 but there is a problem with it as the arabic language is missed so i can't write SMS's in arabic.
so does anyone know how and where i can download arabic as a writing language fro Nokia C7

If the Arabic language was present before the update.. it means the phone was not intended to be sold in your region..but the retailer added the language for his own gains and sold it there.. Try your luck and ask the retailer to do it for you and insist that its done free of cost.. If no success then the ONLY place it can be added is at Nokia Care but most probably at a small fee..
..Be warned that any future firmware upgrade will put you back in the same situation..where the Arabic language will need a re-install..

Updating problems wit Nokia Suite 3.2.100

Hi people.
My current firmware on the phone is: 200.21.012, RM-450, Nokia E63-3 (253.05)
Nokia Suite tells me there is an update for this phone but when i get to the stage of: 'Preparing to download'
It says:
Something's gone wrong.
There was a problem with Nokia suite. Please restart the program and try again. If the problem doesn't go away, uinstall Nokia Suite and download the latest version of the app from www.nokia.com/ovisuite. Error code: 12017
Anyway this is the latest version (currently available)
I have uninstalled it throughly removing EVERYTHING containing to word 'Nokia' from the registry.
Yet still i am getting this error.
Have already tried this method too:

I finally have had my e63-3 RM450 product code (0583677 - Three Network Australia) updated from 200.21.012 (253.05) to system 411.21.001 (253.07). This was done at the Nokia Care Centre in Melbourne under warranty .
I was unable to upgrade using Nokia Suite 3.2 - even though it identified the correct 411.21.001 update as required. Nokia Suite mis-identified the phone as an RM-437 rather than an RM-450. I supplied the logs to Nokia Suite feedback and noted that I had SIM unlocked the phone from the Three Network. Nokia Suite feedback's response was to accuse me of flashing the phone with a new product code as part of the unlocking process - thus causing Nokia Suite to confuse the RM450 with a RM 437. In response I advised them that the phone had been unlocked using a code supplied by the Network operator Three/Vodafone Australia. I then attended the Nokia Care Centre in Melbourne to ensure that the phone carried the product code on the sticker - which it did. I provided the Nokia Care Centre with the email correspondence with Nokia Suite Feedback and the Melbourne team agreed to update the software under warranty.
There are later software updates available for the Nokia e63-3 - but these do not yet have Three/Vodafone Australia authorisation. That is an argument to take up with the Network owner who controls the authorisation of firmware updates for product code 0583677.
I note that the latest Nokia Suite 3.3.86 still misidentifies the phone as an RM437 instead of an RM 450.
On a final note - once updated to 411.21.001 - Skype would no longer automatically install from the website - it simply said Skype was not available for this handset. However, manual installation of Skype 1.5 was possible using the non-touch version for Symbian and works well.
Nokia Suite continues to have a problem with this model of phone.

New to Macs with problems after 10.4.9 Update

Greetings.
This is my first post on these forums, so please forgive the newbieness..
I received a brand new 15" MacBook Pro 2.13GHZ less than a week ago. I have since installed another 1GB of memory in it and it has been running absolutely beautifully! I'm in love and have officially switched from using Vista (I was even a Vista beta tester).
Yesterday morning I applied the 10.4.9 OS update. And since then I have noticed a couple things that seem to be "off".
Granted, I have had less than a week with my MBP, so it's really hard to tell if these issues are related to the 10.4.9 update or they were always there and I never noticed. Here are my issues currently.
1. Sleep. When I close the lid of the MBP, it goes to sleep, which is normal. But when I open it back up, it seems to want to wake up, but doesn't. I usually have to hit the space bar to wake it again, type in my password (I have a screensaver password setup) and then it tries to wake again. Then goes back to sleep immediately. I repeat the process either 2 or 3 times until it finally fully wakes up.
2. Network. I had a WiFi network at home and a Wired network at work. Before the update I was able to connect to both with no problems at all. No user interaction was needed. I would just go home, wake the MBP from sleep, and it would automagically connect to my WiFi router, then going back to work, I would just plug in the wired network cable and automagically it would work.
Now after the 10.4.9 update, this functionality has seemed to stop. Both networks run of DHCP and no matter how much I release and renew the DHCP IP address at either location, it just doesn't seem to want to connect. Every time i've had to do a reboot of the MBP to get Network functionality to work again.
As I said before, I am not sure if this is because of the 10.4.9 update, since I've had so little time with the MBP. It's hard to gauge. I believe that it is the case though, because I definitely do not remember these two issues happening before.
One more thing to note is that I take my MBP to work every day, and bring it home at night, I don't shut it down, I just put it to sleep by closing the lid. There isn't much of a time that it is asleep, because I literally work about 5 minutes away from my apartment.

The delta updater is automatically used by Software Update if your current system iteration is 10.4.8. Problems with the new update on iPad

Hi, i just installed the new update on my i pad and now its not working anymore, it keeps trying to open, but it doesnt even got past the black background with the apple logo on it, then it closes and reopens after, and its going on and on since yesterday, what can i do? I bought my iPad 2 years ago now, but i've been caring alot for it, its in really good shape and all, is there anything i can do to fix the problem or do i have to go to the apple store... and even there, will they fix it or tell me to buy a new one...

I already tried holding both the Home button and Sleep/Wake buttons but it didn't work, and since my iPad is not staying open long enough it doesn't connect to my itunes...
I really tried everything i know but still it doesn't change anything.
