New update and HP printer problems
I recently installed some automatic updates for my computer, including the MacBook SMC Firmware update along with something else that was recommended (but I don't remember what it is). Immediately afterwards, I began having printer issues (ie, I could no longer print). I then fiddled around, attempting to reinstall my HP software. However, I encountered a major problem when my computer wouldn't recognize that there was a printer on my wireless network. I had never had this issue before and another wireless computer could still print perfectly on the same printer. I called Mac and they could not solve the problem. Then, after an hour and a half on the phone with HP, we finally got the computer to recognize that there was indeed a printer on the network. In order to solve this problem we had to reset the entire printing system, manually delete any HP files from my computer, and then reinstall the latest version of the software. I just wanted to voice my concern that the latest updates are not compatible for some reason with HP printing software already installed. If you are having the same problem, you may have to start from scratch to fix it. When I called HP, they said that had been getting identical calls all morning due to this update.

Go to your application folder > open utilitis folder > and click on disk utilities.
Select the hard drive and repair the permission.

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:

Click Go
Move the com.apple.PrinterPrefs.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac, restart the printer... -

RealPlayer can cause conflicts with Flash Player because it tries to assign EVERY TYPE of video or audio file to itself by default. I haven't used RealPlayer in years for that reason. It's an unnecessary program anymore. There are apps loike VLC media player that cna do EVERYTHING it does without conflicting with other apps like Flash Player.
With WIndows 8, Microsoft began embedding FlashPlayer themselves into Internet Explorer. Because of that, you cannot download and install it from here. You cannot uninstall it from Internet Explorer without removing a specific Windows Update first. And you cannot update it via this website. ONLY through Windows Update can Flash Player for Internet Explorer be updated.
That said, you probably DON'T have a virus that's causing the problems with Flash Player and Internet Explorer. Many, many websites are not "recognizing" the browser.
This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released IE11 The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player.
So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.

Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in. -
On my old iTunes sofwear iTune store would not open. I uninstalled iTunes and downloaded the new updates and installed it. Now I get a message that said " The file iTunes Libary.itl" cannot be read becouse it was created by a newer version of iTunes.I did everything it said to do inarticle HT1923 Removing and reinstalling iTunes, Quick Time, and other sofware components for Windows Vista or Windows 7. Now what?
Unless you've recently attempted to downgrade iTunes this is probably a sign of a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

My phone 5s 16gb gold did the new update and will not come back on. I already tried hard reboot still won't work. Been over a hour now. Please someone help I need my phone. This phone is not even 6 months old been in case no scratches. This is driving me crazy.

DFU mode? How do I do that? So far the only thing I can do is hold down both buttons to power it on and nothing is on the screen and it wont reconize on my computer....

Try a Reset holding the Sleep button and the Home button together until Apple logo shows up and then wait for the Reset to return you to the lock-screen. If you still don't have service check Settings>General>About and then scroll down to Carrier and see if your Service Provider is listed.

Hello I've been downloading the new update and it's been at a stand still since it started two days aand suggestions on how to fix this issue
Cancel the update and start over again. You will most likely have to restore the iPad now anyway.
If you were using WiFi, try rebooting the iPad and see if by some miracle the download and install completes. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Try the download again.
If that doesn't work, try using iTunes to update. But turn off your firewall and antivirus software before you update, -
I started the new update and last quick look I saw my phone screen going dark. It's been a black screen now for over 30 minutes. there is no response to any button, nor plugging it into computer. It wont even reboot. Now What??

Charge your iPhone by connecting it to a direct Power supply (Electric socket) using the Apple Usb cable and Power Adapter for atleast 15 to 20 Minutes. After its charged press and Hold the On/Off switch (On top of your iPhone) and the Home Button (Button at the bottom of your iPhone screen). Hold both the keys simultaneously for atleast 10 to 15 seconds and you should see an Apple Logo coming up on your screen, once you see the Apple logo you can then release oth On/Off switch and Home button and wait for your iPhone's Home screen. If you get any error due to incomplete update and due to which you are unable to use your iPhone as Normal then try restoring your iPhone by taking it in Recovery Mode.
