New update available for Lumia 710 (version 1600.3...

Hi all!
Good news! We have brought forward the software update schedule for our Nokia Lumia 710, and have begun rolling out the latest update 1600.3015.8107.12070 to India and Singapore. We will add more countries and variants to the rollout based on market requests.
The new Lumia 710 update brings the following enhancements:
• Smoother device performance (when ending a call) as well as
• other minor performance and usability improvements
As soon as the update is available for you, your phone will display a notification on your Homescreen or you can check for available updates manually by going to Settings > phone update. To update your phone, please follow those 4 steps:
1.   Install the Zune software (Windows) or Windows Phone 7 Connector (Mac OS) on your computer. You'll need this software to download the phone update.
2.   Connect your phone to your computer, using the USB cable that came with your phone.
3.   If the Zune software or Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac doesn't start automatically when you connect your phone, start it manually.
4.   In the Zune software, click Update Now (in Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac, click Install Updates). Make sure you keep your phone connected to your computer until you see a notification that the update is complete.

Well La Dee Dah Yvonne . . . I got news for you . . . 3 different nokia employess at 3 different times and days told me that they have no idea when a new update will be out. Infact one of them went so far as to tell me to sell of my phone and buy a new one if i'm not happy with it and guess what . . . Thats EXACTLY what i did. I had 2 Nokia Lumia 710's. A black one for myself and a white one for my wife. Well so taking your Nokia Employees enlightened advice I went and bought a black Samsung Galaxy S II for myself and a white one for my wife . . . And trust me when i say this but i'm going to go around telling anyone who cares to listen how Nokia cheated a custome who's been loyal to them for the last 22 YEARS. Adios Nokia and i'm glad to say it's NOT Au-Revoir

Good news! We have brought forward the software update schedule for our Nokia Lumia 800, and have begun rolling out the latest update 1600.2487.8107.12070 to India and Singapore. This update will gradually be available for more markets in the coming weeks and we will keep you informed via our support pages as well as via a similar announcement here on Nokia Discussions Forum, once we add additonal markets to the roll out.
As this is not a mandatory software update, not every country or network carrier will make it available to their customers. However, all features and enhancements will be included in subsequent software updates. If you have questions if 1600.2487.8107.12070 will be available for you, please check with your local network carrier.
The new Lumia 800 update brings the following enhancements:
Enhanced battery standby and talk-time performance
Fix for non-responsive screen when ending a call
Improved bass in audio performance
Soft keys illumination available for all screen brightness levels
Fix for rebooting in certain network conditions

There is no request, there is an absolute necessity! Patience is usually my second nature, but the whole non communication policy since the launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 is scandalous. When Nokia finally listening to their customers and responds quickly to problems and childhood illnesses. Like many others with me I'll be forced to daily to plug my device to the Zune software in the hope that Nokia (Netherlands) will be so kind to update my phone.
Nokia, listen, communicate (especially in the media and forums) and trade as a company that lives up to your image.

The latest available software update for Nokia C2-00 is version 3.99. Key changes in this SW update are listed below:
Can now unsubscribe from the Tips and Offers service
Access point name (APN) can be set manually
Usability improvements to the music player
General usability & performance improvements
The update is currently available only through Nokia Suite, but it should be come eventually also available through FOTA - I'll post an update here once that is sorted out.

what SW version does your device currently have? Type *#0000# in the device homescreen to check this. Also what is your product code? That can be seen by typing *#0010# in the homescreen (the code is listed after the "content:"-field).

Newest version of itunes not compatible with my Mac Pro 15" and no new updates available for my Mac

I was able to dowload and install itunes on my windows but was unable to on my Mac due to an error mesage that states that it needs a newer version to install Itunes
i have Mac pro softwere version 10.5.8
asking for at least a 10.6
and on my current Itunes ipad mini wont connect

Do you know why Amber update availability for non-operator versions is not simultaneous for all countries? Why India lumia 920 is ready and Russia should wait? What specific testing is needed for unbounded non-operator versions?

There are always localisation differences between all the various versions, such as language sets etc. They have to start somewhere and work through the list. In any case, phasing the update will also reduce the load on the update servers. Imagine what it would be like if every Lumia in every corner of the earth tried to update at the ame time.

Nokia plan to make this update available everywhere over the next two weeks. No one can say exactly when you will have it.
If in two weeks from now you still don't have it please contact Nokia care or a Nokia care centre in your country.

Hey,
There's a new SW update available for Nokia C2-02 and Nokiw C2-03: version 7.63. These device models are also sold as C2-06/C2-07/C2-08 on certain regions. The update is already available via Nokia Suite, FOTA update should be coming out sooner or later as well. I will post an update about the here later on.
Key changes:
A warning is now given when the volume is too loud
Improvements to the display brightness
Can now unsubscribe from the Tips and Offers service
Timezone fix for Russia and Argentina
Fix for device camera sometimes crashing during taking photos

Thank you for posting and welcome to Nokia Support Discussions!
Try to reinstall the software of your Nokia C2-02. Using Nokia Suite click on Tools > Software update > Reinstall.
If in case you can't reinstall the software, try doing a master reset. Go to Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings > Restore All.
Note: Create a backup first before doing any kind of reset to avoid deletion of data. If prompted for a lock code, enter 12345 unless you changed it.

If anybody faces "Internal error. Either your device’s software of hardware (or both) is not compatible…" error message when attempting to update their phone to this 3.90 version, check your product code with *#0010# and report me the code that is listed after "content:" field.

Disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download and update usually resolves the timeout error.

It is the same installer. You can run it as 30-days trial (CC version) and decide later for CC or stand-alone. To license as stand-alone, follow this guide.
If you already have the LR6 license key, you can enter it during setup and do not need to follow the guide.

- The 2G iPod can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. It does not have the hardware to support a higher iOS version.
- Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.
- You can only download the current version from the App store.

the guy i bought it from told me he would take car of any issues and of coarse the first one that comes up he hasn't been helpful at all.

Boot into Internet Recovery and erase the hard drive, then reinstall the OS.
That will install the original OS that the Mac shipped with. You can then register it under your AppleID and upgrade to Mavericks.
