New update messed up yahoo toolbar bad!

Ever since the newest update my yahoo toolbar is useless! All the application buttons are gone and I can't load or add any. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the toolbar 3 times now and I still can't add apps or buttons to it.

And both Firefox and Yahoo are ignoring all of us and the problem. How professional.

New update messed up all my photos

I did the new update and my photos got really blurry like I had taken them with a bad camera (not the camera roll just the ones previously sunk with itunes). Then I tried taking all the photos off the phone and resyncing. This proved challenging as anything I asked it to sync or unsync I had to do a hard reset on the phone for it to take affect...What the heck is going on here??? Anyone??

My pictures in the photo library were blurry after OS4 install. I went into itunes, unchecked the sync photos, synced the phone. I then went back, checked the sync photos box, synced my phone again....tada! All fixed.

I have checked and the Yahoo Toolbar works fine in Firefox 9.0.1. Check and tell if its working.

New update messed up onscreen keyboard

well after update all was good until I wanted to reply to an email. then while I was typing i wanted to insert a space and guess what it's dead! all bottom row keys (3) are not selectable. I tried an reply create and even new note and the keys are still not working. I know it's not the screen because I can selecte the phone email web and ipod buttons. I already did a full restore and it's still not fuctioning. Well I guess it's time for a new iphone? I can't enter my wifi password because the "join" key is one of the lower keys affected. Strange. It almost works in the google maps but it is hit and miss. in safari half of the spacebar works from middle to right and google key works
in ladscape mode keys work so I guess something is changing the sensitivity of the screen?

Saw mac genius today. Told him problem. He had to try to fix first so he did an restore. same result. had to send in for repair? why not just exchange? oh well. he said something to the fact that he would give me a loaner phone and wavied the fee ($20?) all I had to do is give my cc for guarantee. Poped out my sim into the loaner and phone is working after he auth in itunes. went home and hooked up to my pc and did a restore and everything is back! even my recent calls Nice!!!! Wow! is all I can say. This is my first apple product and now I know what brand loyalty means.
Repair should take 3-5 days and will be shipped to my home will keep you posted....

New Update messed with my Application

I tried to open FCE today and an error message came up that says I need a video card compatible with Quartz extreme or something along those lines. That my system doesn't meet the minimum requirements. I've had FCE installed and have been using it for the past two years on the same machine and it is now telling me that its not compatible with my mac and wont open. The same goes for iMovie. I tried opening iMovie and it says it needs that video card that is compatible. This hasn't happened before and I have used both on this mac before without any problem.
I have the Black MacBook purchased I believe in 2008. Never had a problem with Final Cut before and have used it to produce many home movies. Any idea what's wrong/how I can fix it?

I'm running an intel macbook with FCE version 4.0.1 and quicktime version 7.6.6. Im not sure what the updates where but they were the 2 most recent ones within the last two weeks. What's strange is that iMovie isn't working either. I tried pressing escape but nothing worked.

New update messing up iPod

I recently updated my iPod on a macbook and have been having problems ever since. Every time I charge my iPod, my main menu settings reset and my backlight is turned onto "Always on"
Has this happened to anyone else? Please help me if you know what's wrong!

How to get rid of extra bar that comes with new update?

I am a huge Mozilla fan and have used FireFox for many years now. The new update messed up the way I had my browser but I found an addon that let me move things where I wanted them once again. There is one thing I have been unable to fix though - the empty bar underneath the tabs that stretches horizontally for the entire screen. I have unchecked the bookmarks toolbar, addon toolbar and additional toolbar, but whatever bar this is it won't go away.
I completely understand the need for the UI redesign and am not complaining.

As you can see, I like the minimalistic look and this bar is trampling upon that look. Once again I'm not complaining about the new UI, but will this bar be removable in a future update?

That's not an extra bar; it's the navigation toolbar that's always been there.

Yahoo toolbar isn't compatable with ff 5.0, how do I revert to the previous version of firefox?

Possibly at some stage Yahoo will release an update to the toolbar so it works with Firefox again.

A feature of my Yahoo Toolbar has dissappeared and doesnt seem to be available to re add to toolbar, specifically, anti spy.

After downloading Firefox 3.6, my Yahoo toolbar became disabled. It works now, however, one of the features of the toolbar no longer shows available on the toolbar : anti spy. It also does not appear as being able to re add to the toolbar.

I use the Yahoo toolbar rather than the BT Yahoo toolbar because the mail button in the BT Yahoo toolbar only takes you to the Home Page or refreshes it. I know there is a workaround whereby you can create a custom mail button linked to BT Mail but this doesn't have a red indicator to inform you of the number of new mails.
The Yahoo toolbar has been working fine in that regard for ages now but today it is showing -1.
Have tried reinstalling but the problem persisits.
I know this is a BT forum but I also know that BT and Yahoo are joined at the hip. As stated I know the BT toolbar doesn't have a red indicator for mails but wondered if it is playing up just like its sibling.

Firefox is telling me my yahoo toolbar is not compatible with firefox 4.i have no refresh button or any of the others . will there be an update to make my yahoo toolbar work with this new firefox?

firefox 4 came on my computer thru an update. now i do not have my yahoo toolbar that has the refresh button the home button and the other buttons that are on yahoo tool bar. i want to use my yahoo toolbar and it says it isnt compatible with firefox 4... HELP!

My yahoo toolbar is messed up since updating to firefox 3.6.12

I received a notice that Firefox was installing updates when I went to open it this morning. When it did open, my Yahoo toolbar had changed and the options (buttons for mail, Facebook, etc.) were gone. I reinstalled the Yahoo toolbar--NOTHING! The search box that is showing doesn't even work anymore! HELP!

I keep getting asked to update to the new FF5. I've been waiting to download it (again) until the newest version of the Yahoo Toolbar is compatable. Is it compatable yet? If not, do you know when it will be?

When FF5 came out, I downloaded it right away, but then found out that the Yahoo Toolbar was not compatible with it. Yahoo Toolbar has ALL of my bookmarks on it, so it is something that I have to have. So I un-installed FF5 and went back to FF4 which was compatible with YT and am still using it.

My elongated (statement) question fully explains the problem I am inquiring about. Only some rudimentary features of my existing Yahoo toolbar were displayed and it was missing all of my previously selected icons which are on file with Yahoo, not my computer. You also could not right or left click for a menu on the options icon (gear icon) to the right of the search window.
It would seem that there are incompatibility issues between the new 5.0 Firefox and the existing most current version of the Yahoo Toolbar add-on. I don't know know why this wasn't detected in the installation scan for compatibility of installed add-ons.
I have re-installed the 4.0 Firefox for the time being in order to regain the use of the Yahoo toolbar and all it's features which I use regularly.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

Add-ons contain a range of compatible Firefox versions, and Firefox honors the listed range by disabling the add-on if you are trying to run it on an unlisted version.
I'm sure Yahoo! will update its toolbar eventually, but not every add-on maker supports beta versions of software.
