Have you checked to see if you have any possible conflicting applications installed on your phone recently? If not, and you are still having problems with the speed of the phone, then try re-installing the firmware through Nokia Suite. If this is not the problem you are having, and are only wanting to provide feedback, then you may do so directly to Nokia by clicking the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page.

New update not allowing autoplay from URI

Hello. We are a group currently developing a spotify app, and we were making use of the fact that you could send a URI to the browser and that song would autoplay from the desktop client. This is no longer possible with the new update, as it just finds the song and doesnt start anything. I hope this is a bug. The song will not start even though nothing else is playing either.
Open.spotify.com always just opens the web player, so that is of no use as well in the app we are making.

What is this for a stupid decission to cancel the autoplay functionality? Currently autoplay is not working! There must be the following in: - Open Spotify through a playlist link: Option in the URL for autoplay or just open the playlist- Open Spotify without a playlist link: Option to autoplay the last playlist If this will not be implementes ASAP I will look at Apple Musich and other like Deezer! Spotify is such a great tool, but what you have done here by killing the autoplay functionality was a step back into stone age !!

Try this ....
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Try a Flash based video.

Why does the new update not recognize my new charger that i bought for my iphone ? it worked before but not anymore !!!

i recently bought a new charger 2 months ago at best buy . (black friday sale) ! it worked so perfectly fine until today . i guess it's the new update ?! i don't really like it because the charger is a really good one . my warranty expired in december , and my charger burnt out like the other two chargers i had ....

Apple tried making it so iOS only allows "made for iPhone devices". You will have to get a different cable in order for it to work again.
If you need just the USB section of it, amazon sells a nice cable, for a few bucks less than apple and it is a lot better made.

New update no good how to restore

I installed the new update and I've gone back to a mix but all the crossfades are out. I keep getting horrible blips. How should I go back to my original install. Do I just install the logic app from the disk.

Standard upgrade practice for anybody relying on software tools is to backup before updating, so on the chance that the update is problematic, you can just revert to your backups.
With Logic, it's easy.
- Copy the Logic Pro application, and rename it eg Logic Pro 8.0.1
- Run the update, this will update the existing "Logic Pro" application to 8.0.2, leaving the 8.0.1 (copied) version intact.
- You can now choose which Logic version you want to run by running the relevant application. I would suggest keping the most recent update named "Logic Pro" as otherwise software updates won't work.
If you didn't save 8.0.1 but wished you had, you'll need to:
- Copy and rename "Logic Pro" (the 8.0.2 version) to Logic Pro 8.0.2
- Extract the Logic Pro application from your installer disks using Pacifist, overwriting the existing Logic Pro.
- Download and install the 8.0.1 update, which will update Logic Pro to 8.0.1.

Tried to transfer iPod to new PC not good

I downloaded all my music on my computer at home and when i plugged it in to my new PC, it's been charged for about 14 hours and still isn't done, and all my music's gone. do i have to go back home and download it all again or what?

I take it your new PC is not the one containing your music? Does the new PC have iTunes installed? If so, then plugging the iPod into it has likely caused it to update to the iTunes library on your "new PC". Short answer, Yes, you will have to reload the music at home.
In future, to prevent the iPod from updating on other computers hold command + option (Mac) or shift + control (PC) immediately after plugging the iPod in.

Latest Update - Not Good!

The latest update viz-a-viz Conversations/Groups erased my unique names for each of my groups. Unfortunately, there is no "Rename" option - at least one that is easy to find - so if I want all of those groups back, I have to remember what each conversation was named and then I have to create a brand new group. Of course that means I lose all the history. Of course there is no search across all conversations feature. No, I can't just rename the conversation because that is a "global" or "public" change that is seen by every user in the group. Why would you make this change? It is extremely frustrating given that I have a paid subscription that is the primary communication tool for our business. You should hang your User Experience staff upside down by their ankles and flog them or something...

This really needs to be fixed! MS are now forcing us to upgrade to the latest version so I cannot keep my version 6.xyz. I've upgraded to 7.5 and this feature has disappeared again. Now I'm left with no option but to find another chat application that will allow me to maintain local group names without affecting other users (or more importanly their changes not affecting me).

Driver issue causing new update not to finish

I tried to update to IOS 8 last night on my iPhone 5. The drivers on my laptop have been messed up since I changed the hard drive in early 2014. iTunes on my laptop does not recognize my device due to the compatibility issue between the drivers so I haven't been able to sync it to iTunes in some time. I have tried every troubleshooting tip I can find online to try to get this to work and so far, no luck. Can I log into my account using someone else's iTunes to finish the sync? If so, will it delete all of their information or any of my information?

Then go to preference and press the reload option software
Let the process do all your work, and then you start setting your BB
And load your backup.

ITunes 11.4 update not good for Mac os 10.6.8? Can time machine help?

I am using an iMac from 2006 (32) running snow leopard. When I updated to the latest iTunes, my iPhone will no longer sync. I have a very large library and I have ratings on every song. (Started rating them since the first version of iTunes came out) I use time machine and have a backup from a couple of days ago. Is it possible to use time machine to go back to the previous version using time machine without losing my playlists and ratings?

If you are using Mac OS X Snow Leopard, start your computer from the installation disc. Then use the "Restore From Time Machine Backup" utility.

Finally, I cannot see why Time Machine would leave out your playlists and ratings? Think about it. Why would Time Machine specifically copy everything BUT your playlists and ratings? Ryan, what are your options? I would have to ask you this: Are you certain that you properly did the sync? That is another/different forum altogether: Using iPhone /see subsection on Syncing.

New update not compatible with my computer processor (PPC)

I have a Mac G4 PPC 1.5GHZ with 1.25G Ram and Mac os 10.5.8
Used to have FireFox installed on my computer until I made the mistake to try to update the program using it's built in software update feature.
All went well until I tried to run Firefox after the install was complete. Up comes the message that the software is not compatible
with my computers architecture.
Now the install has erased my original Firefox and i cant seem to find a version anywhere that will work on a PPC.
Can you assist?

2.2 Update NOT good for ALLY

So yah...My screen has been freezing up, SD card problems, text messaging problems, battery draining faster than ever before, phone has been shutting itself down...

From everything (both positive and negative) I have read about this phone and others like it, you will probably always have to do a restore when you install a major update.
For instance, my iPod Touch had the older software when I first purchased it a year ago, when they came out with the newer ones and the new ISO 4, it told me that a software upgrade was available. After installing it, nothing worked correctly and after 3 days on the phone with Apple Tech Support (which was horrible. You can't do anything with them unless you file an internet case order first.. or so they tell you), I just decided to restore it! Problem solved!
I imagine that these "smart" phones just like my iPod have back-up options that will allow you to recover everything with little to no hassell. You just have to take the time to keep it synced and up to date whenever you add new apps. When something new comes out, restores are necessary. I have learned that. Just like when you do something on your computer, it shuts down and reboots. Its the same principle!

Ios7 update not good

I have a 4s and updated to the iOS 7 from the iOS 5.1, have had for less than a week and not happy. It gives me vertigo and it drains my battery with even closing all apps multiple times a day! Want the iOS 5.1 back!!

10.10.1 Update not good so far!

Everything is very slow and some programs won't even open! I'd hold off on the update

There are no "serious" challenges with updating. These forums are like emergency rooms, people come here because they have issues not to express how simple and flawless the updates went.
Basing a decision to not update on posts in the forums is just silly.
iDevices do not update automagically, the user must initiate the update either by the "normal" method via iTunes or by going to Settings > General > Software Update. This functionality only works via Wi-Fi. iCloud has no bearing on the updates.
