New Update version 8.2.1 won't download or install

on launch of iTunes, I keep seeing pop-up windows telling me there is a new version of iTunes and asking if I want to install it.
I have clicked 'yes' many, many times and each time the PC appears to start to download the update file but then it disappears and the download never takes place.
What can I do to get the update to install correctly?

Instead of updating via iTunes, try updating manually.
Download the iTunes installer from here:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
After clicking download, select "Save" and save the installer on your PC, then run the downloaded file.
Doing it this way often works when the auto update doesn't. And if it doesn't, you may get an error message that helps.

Please help me figure this out. I'm very unhappy at the moment. I'm fustrated and don't have any idea how to revert to the original version before the update was done on iMovie 10. I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

Adobe Flash Player has been disabled and downloading an updated version says that it won't download until Mozilla is closed and I don't know what that means.

Adobe Flash Player won't operate when I am using Mozilla. The window says that it is disabled. I have tried enabling it, but it doesn't do anything. When I try to download the latest version of AFP, it says that it will download when Mozilla Firefox is closed. I have closed Mozilla, I have turned the computer off and nothing that I have tried has activated AFP.

I had been getting those notices for months, I finally broke down and hit the button to automatically upgrade. I assume that you mean that the apps are in "waiting" mode or something similar to that. you did not say that you were getting any error messages.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.

You could try disabling hardware acceleration. If you are unable to access the setting in Options > Advanced > General, you could change the setting for "layers.acceleration.disabled" to true in the prefs.js file in the profile.

New update - version creation backwards? Again?

I just downloaded and installed the new update. Now when I do an edit to a RAW image, the original file stays put, a stack is created and the new version appears to the right of the original. Before I did the update, the original moved off to the right and the new version appeared to the left at the front of the stack. Why is it doing this? Is there a setting that determines how Aperture 3 creates and organizes edited versions in relation to the masters in a stack? I really need this app to be a little more stable in its stack organization. Is this a bug or a setting that is being changed?

This seems to be a reversion to the Aperture 2 behaviour that most users were comfortable and familiar with. The version 3.0 behaviour in naming the master the version was the aberration.

SJ has annouced that tonight (Wednesday) an updated version of iTunes will become available. It will support new products and +*the installation of your own ringtones on the iPhone*+!
Perhaps it will also solve the recent issues effecting some of the users.

Dear Skype, Everything was just dandy. Skype worked on Kindle and I could communicate with the outside world.Now, you've forced all Kindle users to download and install the new upgrade. Unfortunately, your new upgrade is seriously flawed. So much for seamless intergration. Not only can I no longer connect any calls on Kindle, but even your own "Echo/Sound Test" does not pick up/answer, and just leaves the message "calling...". No audio, no video, nothing. I'm cancelling my account and giving my money to another provider. Goodbye forever Skype.

The new update is not compatable with the first generation Kindle Fire HD. Mine was working like a dream until I was forced to update two days ago. Now I can no longer video call anyone because it completely crashes.I have tried to reinstall the APP directly from Amazon, specifying that it was for the first generation Kindle Fire HD, but it made no difference at all. If you must attempt to use Fx3.6 have you tried zooming the page or trying to work out if there are any keyboard shortcuts available for the actions. You should contact your email provider's support site for help

Why after two new updates can I know longer watch or download movies?

This morning firefox updater advised me that two new addons would be installed as soon as I restarted Firefox, which I did straight away. When I opened up a webpage and clicked on a movie to watch everything froze. I couldn't open any other tabs either. Earlier I didn't have a problem with watching movies. It was only when the two new updates were installed and I do not know what they were. I even unistalled Firefox and reinstalled the latest version (which I already had anyway) but this made no difference. It seems that it is only happening when I try to watch or download things. I haven't had this trouble in the past. Although Firefox does crash fairly regularly.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
