New upgrade and I can not locate old songs/files

I just downloaded the newest itune upgrade, I had always used the original system from when I first got my iPod 20GB (old school).
Now I can not find any of my songs - the icon dispay on my desk top does not open the file.
I KNEW I should NOT have done this.
ANy suggestions?

The pic sync is one way - computer to iPhone.
You should be storing all of your photos on your computer. Jut sync them to your iPhone.

I want to install the latest version of i tunes. I recieve an error that the MSI file is missing. It won't load the new version and I can not delete the software either. HELP!

You don't need Acrobat to view PDF files; can you post a screenshot of that message?
Also, is this a local or online PDF? If online, in what browser?

This sounds like a known issue reported here:

There was a workaround posted, but I've not tested it myself. Here are the steps.
# Go into Yahoo Messenger Options - Change the Window in the dropdown to Tab and press OK.
# Then go back and switch it to small window and press OK.
Once the bug is officially resolved, you could try running a Nightly or Aurora build to use the fix early.
