New user cannot sign in

I set up my new printer.  Logged my email, went to sign in but haven't got a password.  So I tried  to register and it told me I already existed.  So I clicked Forgot password but it doesn't recognise my email address.  Help!

Hello running22,
Try using the forgot password link under the snapfish icon login. Snapfish has recently merged with ePrintCenter and even if you have not created an account with snapfish, sometimes this is able to send you a temporary password to login to your account. If you get the temporary password from Snapfish, try logging into ePrintCenter using the Snapfish login icon. This should tie your accounts together and prevent this issue from happening in the future.
Hope this helps!
If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!

  • New User cannot access OWA after migrate from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013

    Dear all,
I recently migrate the Exchange server from Exchange 2007 on Windows Server 2003 to Exchange 2013 on Windows 2012 R2. I can open the mailbox moved from Exchange 2007 without any problem. However when I created a new user in Exchange 2013, the user cannot
login the OWA, the browser will throw out following screen. Can anyone help me in this case. Thanks a lot!

    Hi Winnie,
Thank for your reply. Below is the result, please note there has four exchange servers, HKAD and HKEX are the existing Exchange 2007 server. HKCAS1 and HKCAS2 are the new Exchange Server 2013 - both of xchange server 2013 are using owa.ksi.com.hk

  • I Can Add a new user, But the new user cannot logg in how can I solve this?

Hi there. When I add a new user every thing works great except when I try to logg this new user. The computer freezers at the logging window with the processing bar working indefinetly. To fix it I have to AppleCtrlpower swich to get out and restrat the computer. I can only logg in as the administrator... Can any one help me and point me to a right solution. Thank you!

    Javivi:
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
It is difficult to tell why your new user account is not working, but one has to start some place.
First try Starting up in Safe Mode. Log in with the original user account, the restart the computer normally and log into the original user account. Go to Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility. Launch Disk Utility. Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel and First Aid in the main panel. Click Repair Disk Permissions. Quit DU.
Go to System Prefs > Accounts and recheck the new account, especially the login options. If everything seems OK quit System Preferences and restart. Try logging into the new accounts. If you have problems force shut down and Start up in Safe Mode again.
It may be easiest to just delete the new account and start over, as you do not yet have any data in it. However, if you want to continue to trouble shoot we can try it for a while.
Please post back with a report of your experience and any questions or comments you may have.
    Good luck.

  • IRecruitment: New users cannot see jobs as candidates

    Hi
I´m experiencing a problem with iRecruitment. All the people in my company have an Oracle user associated to their corresponding person. The ones created long before (i don´t know exactly when, maybe when iRecruitment was implemented), can connect using the employee candidate resp. and search for jobs without problem. The new created users also connect with the same responsibility, but they cannot see any job. I´ve run the following programs with no success:
    - Synchronize WF LOCAL tables with the following values for the “Orig System” parameter:
    1. PER_ROLE
    2. FND_RESP
    3. FND_USR
    - Sync responsibility role data into the WF table
    - Workflow Directory Services User/Role Validation
    Any idea?
    Thank you in advance

Thanks guys. I finally solved it. We have a security policy activated to prevent users to see certain info (such as salaries) thru the app or database. One of the tables was per_all_vacancies. So we granted the profile value associated to that policy to these users and now they are able to search for vacancies. Thank you all of you for your help and effort. I´ve noted down all your suggestions so i can solve future problems regarding irec.

  • One of our Team users cannot sign into CC desktop app on OS X 10.8.5

Every time of our CC for Team users tries to sign into the CC app in OS X 10.8.5 he just gets a message saying "You have been signed out"
In addition, on startup of his iMac he also receives continuous popup messages saying that admin rights are required (something along those lines) until he quits the app and starts it up again.
    CC app version is 1.7.0.413
Today I tried completely removing the app using the uninstaller and even after reinstalling he gets the same sign in issue.
    Any ideas please?

Just resolved this will online support chat...
In case anyone else comes across the same issue, all you need to do to fix this in OS X is:
    quit CC app
    open terminal
    type: cd ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    type: sudo rm opm.db
relaunch CC app and it should be fixed

  • New User - Cannot select drum kit loops

    Hi,
I am a trying out GarageBand for the first time and having a lot of fun.
However I was following one of the Apple tutorials where I clicked on song writing and had a basic drum track. The tutorial said if you don't like the drum track you can delete it and then use the Loop browser to select different drum kits.
However when I click on the Loop browser I can't click on the drum kit icons to then select a drum loop - they are all ghosted out - like as if they are not installed on my system.
Yet the basic drum loop played fine - so it must be there somewhere.
Do I have to install these loops somehow like I had to install the instruments? (The system told me I needed to install some things online - but I've not seen anything regarding loops)
    Help !!!
    Thanks

In case anyone had the same problems as me - I had to use the Applications disc that came with my laptop to re-install Garageband from the DVD.
Just take care using it - make sure you backup your system just in case (always a good idea) - insert the disc and follow the instructions. Make sure you take all the tick boxes out of the other applications so that you only install Garageband.
Then let it install and when the computer restarts there are all the loops in their glory.
Its a shame that Garageband lets you download the loops online because that is a complete waste of time as even after downloading 1.2 gigs worth of data Garageband ignores the loops even though they are there on your system. The only way to get the loops to work is by installing off the dvd that came with your computer.
    Hope this helps other users.
    Cheers
    Phil

  • New user - cannot get programs to work??

I just signed up for the full version of creative cloud and paid the $49.95.  When I try to open the applications, that were previously installed as the trial versions, they still wont open?  How do I get the programs to work?
Annoying.  It is still asking me for a licence number?  Am I meant to have one?  Do I need to reinstall all programs???!!
Some better instructions would be great Adobe....!
The email you sent is not very helpful... Surely I am not the only person who downloaded the trial versions before subscribing... Your email is worded that I need to download the programs to make them work...
    How to get started:
    1. Log in http://www.adobe.com/go/cc_appsservices_au?trackingid=KDUMO to Creative Cloud with your Adobe ID and password.
    2. Choose products to download on the Apps page.http://www.adobe.com/go/cc_appsservices_au?trackingid=KDUMO

    Hi GennoAustralia,
To license your already installed products running in trial, please follow below instructions:
    1. Remove all adobe entries present in host file. Host file is located at: C:\Windows\System32\\drivers\etc\hosts(win)  and /private/etc/hosts(mac)
    2. Launch any of your product, you want to license.Follow step a) or b) whichever applicable:
    a) If you have bought subscription for same adobe id which you used while installing your product in trial, you will get a "Sign In" screen. Click on "SIgn In", your      product is now licensed.
    b) If your adobe id having subscription is different from adobe id used while installing product in trial, a trial screen which has two butttons : "License This Software" and "Continue Trial" is shown. Click on "License This Software". On next screen,  click on "Not your Adobe Id" and enter the adobe id carrying subscription.
You will now be able to license your product.

  • Users cannot sign in connected with wifi at home

    Hey
I need some urgent help with that issue:
My clients report that they can't sign in to Lync app when they conneted to
    WiFi at home
when they are trying to connect Lync through 3G or 4G with "auto detect server" - it does works great!
I don't really know why it happens but I guess it is someting with DNS maybe?
please note that it happen only with iOS devices
    Thanks!

Clients sign in using DNS so the first thing to check is if the clients are correctly able to resolve lyncdiscover.contosso.com. Also check 3G\4G to compare DNS resolving to correct\expected IP's
You haven't mentioned if its the same device they are using or what version of Lync we are talking about here. Also, do you have a mobile APN for your organization? If so the 3G\4G could be considered as on the WAN.

  • New User Cannot get Itunes to work - Setup Assistant Not Showing

I'm hoping somebody can help me. I have been trying for hours now to install Itunes on Windows XP.
It downloads, I run it, it installs, but doesn't seem to bring up the Set-up Assistant. After I click Finish on the first set up menu, it does nothing. So I then go and click the shortcut to start Itunes and to sync it with the Ipod Touch, but nothing happens.
I have watched the set up video and can't see what is wrong.
Edited to add: I don't get any error messsages while trying to install Itunes.
I have a very unhappy 13 year old who can't enjoy his birthday present!

  • New user cannot access files

I installed a TestSTand deployment as User1. Then I tried to run a test as Operator. When it tried to write a summary report it could not access the file. So's I tries it myself and I can't delete files in the test report directory created by the deployment. I see that the whole directory tree is read-only. I switched to User1 and unchecked read-only up and down the line but no good. Finally I gave Operator admin privs and rebooted and then he could access files. Why is my deployment setup this way? Is it something I did or didn't do?
    jvh

    Hi jvh,
I'm a little confused about what you are trying to do with your deployment.  Did it not automatically generate a report after the tests had completed?  Were you trying to open up the Test Sequence Report but were being denied permission to do so?  Could you not remove the .xml report file from its directory?  Maybe it would be good if you could attach a screen shot of your directory tree, or screen shots of what you've been seeing.
Just curious -- what permissions did you have configured for the Operator user?

  • New user "Cannot connect to iTunes" message

    Hi
I have just got the iphone 4S.  Have never had an iphone before and am very bad with all this techonolgy stuff.  But have set up an Apple account.  and went to down a free app, but then after i type in my password, and it goes to add it to the desktop (as it were), a message stating "cannot connect to itunes" comes up and the app does not download.
I am not sure what i am doing wrong.
Would really be thankful for some help - and sorry if it something very simple.
    Kind regards,
    Emma

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes, and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

a little background: we had an issue with our domain controller and had to flash a backup image that we took 2 weeks prior. after we got everything setup correctly again and added users that were not there when we took the image backup. it all seemed
fine, until we had to add some new hires. now when I add new users and configure them correctly with in OCS and active directory the user cannot sign in. from what I have read it could be a replication error, but when I try to force replication it fails. as
we rely on this service for our business it is very frustrating. I have ran the validation tool and this is what I get.

Suggested Resolution: Use the maximum hop count to determine the server   that generated this error. For example, if the maximum hop value is 2, then   it is likely that this error was generated by a server that is 1 (immediate
target) or 2 hops away. If the target server supplied and the home server for   the user are different check the trust relationship between them. If the   target server is an access edge server then check whether the internal   supported
domain list contains the domain of this user. In addition, check   the forest-level domain supported list and make sure the user domain is   present. Finally, run the dbanalyze tool on the home server to check whether   the user is homed and
    configured correctly.
Suggested Resolution: Ensure that the supplied credentials are   appropriate for the supplied user. If the user has been moved recently, run   dbanalyze to ensure that the user is homed correctly.

Depending on how you rolled back Active Directory, you may have entered a situation called "USN Rollback" where your rolled back DC stops replicating with the rest of the DC's in the infrastructure.
This will cause issues like what you are experiencing, and much worse in the long term, such as machines getting dropped from the domain, and user password becoming inconsistent, since you're essentially maintaining two copies of your domain that cannot
    talk to each other...
    Here are more details: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875495
I'd recommend resolving the underlying AD issue by removing the restored DC from the infrastructure (you may have to force demote and remove metadata). Once AD is 100% functional then you can start troubleshooting OCS sign in issues, but my guess is they
will resolve themselves once the restored DC is removed.
    Hope this helps,

  • New Jabber user cannot see (only) one of the added buddies

Running ichat server, just a handful of OD users. OD is on the same machine as Ichat server. Nothing is limiting the use of Ichat by any of the OD users. Server G5 10.4.9, Clients managed Intel Imacs 10.4.9
    Added a new user.
New user can add buddies in the Jabber List.
New user can see all but 1 of them in the List.
One of the buddies, lets say UserX, can see the new user in her Jabber List.
No matter what we have tried from within Ichat the new user cannot see UserX.
Both users are members of the same groups and have matching access abilities.
Any suggestions. Thanks for looking at this.

New user can see all but 1 of them in the List.
If I understand it this correctly, 'new user' can see all other buddies except one. And all the other users can see this buddy.
Lets call the new user "userX" and the one they cannot see "userY" and lets call your ichat server "jabber.myserver.com"
The configuration files for users buddylist is stored in the spool di rectorywhich you can find at /var/jabber/spool/. In there you will find a directory the matches the name of your ichat server. For me that is jabber.clayford.com. In this directory you will find one xml file for eash user of ichat server. Their file name is the OD logon name for the server.
Stop the ichat server service and make back up of any files you edit before you start.
Open the file for "userX.xml" In this file you will see some xml code that starts <item jid='[email protected]' subscription='xxxxxx'>. there will be a number of them, one for each buddy.
Mke sure the xxxxxx is the word 'both' [with the quotes] and if the text ask='subscribe' exists in that line before the >,remove it. So that definition should now be: <item jid='[email protected]' subscription='both'>.
Save the file and now open the file userY.xml and check that the item <item jid='[email protected]' subscription='both'> exists.
Restart the ichat server and the problem should be fixed...
