New Version of ActiveX DLL

Hi,
I use in my VI external ActiveX DLL. I wanted update my VI to the new version of this Dll.
1. I unregistered the old one and registered the new one.
2. After this I opened my VI and tryed to execute it.
I couldn't execute my VI, because for every Function 'Invoke Node' I
got error message 'Invoke Node: contains unwired or bad
terminals'.
The signature of the functions, which I call with the 'invoke node' didn't change and no broken wires are displayed.
I deleted one of the 'Invoke Nodes' and inserted a new one with the call for the same function. The error message disappaered.
Does somebody knows why it happens? Should I update every 'Invoke Node'-Function with the identical one or there is another one
solution?

Hello,
I don't know you ActiveX DLL but if there are any changings in the ActiveX DLL like changings of parameters or properties then you have to create the property or invoke node new. I know this from the ActiveX changings of Excel 97 and Excel 2003 which you can read in this KBs.

You can try to do a masscompile but I thinks it do not help. Probably you have to create the property and invoke nodes new.

This is a followup to a previous post that was answered by Aaron G...not sure if you guys see the additional comments after the answer.
I think I need to get the BVOPCClient.dll registered on my machine before I can do "OPC Browsing" (as mentioned in another KB article). But the .dll does not seem to be self-registerable...I get a "DllRegisterServer entry point not found" error when I use regsvr32.exe. I've also tried the regsvr32.exe /i /n options (which uses DllInstall instead of DllRegisterServer) but that fails as well.
What program does this .dll come with and can I get it in order to install and register this .dll? Or is there a workaround to register it manually?

For the problems with registering the DLL's and the communication between DataSockets and the OPC Server, you are probably better off posting in the Measurement Studio category. I can answer most FieldPoint related questions, but this has to do with specific problems with DataSockets and I do not have the necessary knowledge to help you.

If you can't reinstall Firefox yourself then you need to contact your IT department and ask them to check the Firefox installation.
It is possible that some files got broken with the latest update.

Solving the iTunes Installation Problems in Windows
1. Apple has posted their solution here: iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows- Unable to install or open - MSVCR80 issue.
2. If the Apple article does not fully resolve the problem for you, then try Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates - MSVCR80.

After I installed the latest version of ITunes I get a message saying I'm missing the SQlite3.dll file. I have even unistalled the new version and then re-installed, still same message.

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

By way of experiment, let's first try specifically choosing a library for iTunes to open.
Quit iTunes if that error message is showing. Now hold down your Shift key, and then open iTunes. (Keep holding down the shift key while iTunes is opening.)
You should see a dialog asking you if you want to choose or create a library, as per the following screenshot:
Click "Choose Library ..."
You should now see a screen like the following screenshot:
Select the "iTunes Library.itl" file (shown circled in the screenshot) and click "Open".

I also posted this question and then Googled it. The instruction was to delete, in order iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, Apple Application Support and iCloud. Since downloading new version, Printer issue "Can't load library DLBAPRP.Dll, Using Defaults Error:126"

The printer will not work on some printjobs and I get the message shown in my question. Previous to downloading the new version of Firefox, no problem. And I can print these jobs when I use my internet explorer browser.

That error seems to be new with Firefox 4 - never heard of it with earlier versions of Firefox, but it goes back many years in various Windows programs.

We are using Labview with Matlab ActiveX DLL. Everything work fine. But, every one we recompile the Matlab DLL, I need to re link the static reference to the new Matlab DLL. It's possible to get the link dynamic?
So, if we recompile the dll (keeping the same input, output, functionName, version), I don't need to re link my reference, only :
1) regsvr32 -u test.dll,
2) remplace the C:\Y_Code\test.dll with the new one
3) regsvr32 test.dll
I include the basic VI, the 3 different Matlab DLL (can be rename).
Test_1_0_1.dll = Add m+n+1.1
Test_1_0_2.dll = Add m+n+2.2
Test_1_0_3.dll = Add m+n+3.3
Off course, you will need the Matlab Runtime MCR7.10 (if need, I can send you the runtime, but 152Meg...)

Can anyone help me with this problem. I tried updating the latest itunes and it caused an error MSVCR80.dll missing. I then tried fixing it after reading other people had the same problem and a solution was given about uninstaling itunes and the order in which to do that. I did that but now get the error "the files "itunes library.itl" cannot be read because it was created with a newer version of itunes. I see a solution has been given about this but I cannot find what is suggested to enable me to follow instructions. Can anyone please go through step by step (letting me know where I can find what is needed) to enable me to be able tio log into itues again. Thanks

You may want to make sure that in the last step (reinstalling iTunes) that you are installing the latest/newest available version, and not attempting a reinstall from an older file.

Your system is missing a couple DLLs that LR needs, but the fix at Adobe is to copy them to the LR folder which gets replaced for each install, so you have to redo it after each LR install. It would be worth documenting the process and saving the DLLs so you don’t have to ask about it each time:

You might also use the AIO210 program to add them as detailed in this YouTube video—maybe this is a more permanent fix, but since the files are from media-fire be very careful about what you do so as not to install a virus on your computer.
I’d scan the downloaded ZIP you download with whatever virus and internet security software you have and don’t be fooled by extraneous popups you might see during the download process. I was able to download the aio210.zip after authorizing one Captcha window and closed at least one bogus popup trying to get me to install other software. I reinstalled with the same error messages and the same results.
I uninstalled existing and reinstalled from scratch and the same error messages again.
I try to repair and at the end it said it had installed correctly – but when it tried to start I got the message “This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem” I now get the same message when I first start the computer but when I press ok I receive ““ITunes was not installed correctly; please reinstall ITunes – Error 7 – (windows error 126)” again.
It appears the update has not only corrupted the operating system (Xp Pro SP3) of my computer but I have no backups to my IPhone, my wife’s IPhone or the three others phones that use my computer.
I hope you can advise me how to recover my backups
