New Version of BT Yahoo Classic Mail Major problem

I have tried to use the new version of BT Yahoo Mail & have encountered a major problem.
When I select any area of the new mail page I get a message that says "E Mail out of Memory Line 1"
My computer then locks up totally, & I have to turn of with the on/off switch & restart.
I have now gone back to using the original Classic mail, but, I find that if I select a e mail address from a web site this is automatically placed in the New Classic mail system, & again I get the message & lock up.
I have contacted India, & got nowhere! She said I had too many e mails stored on my system! I actually have 3726, so I think she is wrong
Help please
Should I just stick with the old version of the mail system?
Is there anybody in BT interested in the problem?
Will the original Classic mail continue for ever?

Huge thanks to you Johnoo, had been struggling for two days after upgrading from BT Yahoo Classic to new version, and had just reached the end of my tether so to speak!!!
Followed instructions above - although Option 2 refers to 'Dial Up'? - and requested transfer back to Classic. Contact centre operative seemed to understand perfectly
I confirmed ID and she held on while I accessed mail account, took about a minute from start to finish! Very happy

Dear Sirs,
in Windows XP SP3, using Firefox 7 nor 7.0.1 , none of buttons shown at the top row by Gmail or Yahoo Classic Mail works and even I cannot do a sign out of my email box . I had not this problem when using Mozilla Firefox 6 series and earlier .
By the way , I never face with such a problem if I use Internet Explorer version 8 on the same personal computer .
Finally , a week ago I upgraded my Sun JAVA to the latest version 6u29 on the same PC . Today , I uninstalled it and after restarting my PC I installed an old version of jre-6u22-windows-i586-s.exe but still I have the above-mentioned problem .

Move or Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer or the backup of the old computer to the new computer.

Yahoo! Mail send problem

Hello all, anyone know when we will see a fix for the Yahoo! Mail sending problem? (This is when the iphone appears to have sent an email by playing the "swoosh" sent mail sound, but the message was not sent, the way users have been getting Yahoo! Mail to send again is by turning their iphone off then back on).

For what it's worth I also had this problem with Yahoo mail on my iPhone. After getting tired of waiting for Yahoo to do something about it, I decided to cancel my Premium Yahoo account and switch to Gmail. I have to tell you Gmail has been amazing and I haven't looked back since. IMAP Gmail on my iPhone has made my email experience a pure joy.
BTW - I had my Yahoo account for over 7 years. And did you know that Yahoo is an acronym for You Always Have Other Options? Well I took them up on their advice since I wasn't too impressed with their service! My 2 cents.

I like the new version of Firefox 4, but have slowest problem with the company bluecoat proxy. I have change different setting in the about:config. Any Ideas how to to fix the slowest.

The forthcoming "better" version of BT Yahoo! Mail

Some questions:
(1) Can users opt-out of the "improvements", and just stay on the old mail system forever?
(2) Assuming the upgrade is forced on us, will it possible to completely disable ALL spam filtering?
(3) Will POP3 service be changed, or do these changes relate to the web-based mail system only?
(4) Is the new system based on Google Mail?

All of a sudden, with the last two new versions of Firefox, I am having logon problems at Gmail, Youtube, Yahoo, and other sites that I had NO trouble before. What have you guys done?

I never had trouble logging on to such common sites such as Youtube, Yahoo, or Gmail, until I upgraded to the latest version of Firefox. I never had to "delete cookies" or "clear cache" in the past to get logged on. If this issued isn't corrected soon I regret I'll have to go back to IE...oh the agony!!!

The new version of BT Yahoo Calendar no longer sen...

BT Calendar was "upgraded" this morning. My appointments are still all there, and the reminder (send email 15 minutes before the event) is still activated, yet I haven't received a single reminder all day! Anybody else in this situation? I get a terrible display in ATT Yahoo!

I have this same problem and it occurs with other websites (like ESPN.com) too. Only I don't get the option of disabling automatic page updates on other websites. I disabled and reinstalled Mozilla and it went away for a short while. About two weeks later the same problem popped back up.

New version of iTunes will not open says problem with QuickTime

Followed all instructions to unload/reload QuickTime still same problem iTunes will not open due to problem with QT so removed both iTunes and QT and reloades still shows message and will not open iTunes.

Try uninstalling the QuickTime Player application using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, as suggested here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1926.
Also, *Verify iTunes and related components are completely uninstalled*, as suggested here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925.

I can't change the password in any Verizon email accounts I have. I never changed passwords in past
3 years. I am using the new version of Verizon Yahoo Mail. When I select the Account option within

There have not been any troubles that I have heard of. It could be a browser problem. Try either using a different browser or running your Internet Explorer in compatibility mode. Please go into Internet Explorers "Tools" menu and click to turn on "compatibility view". It should allow you to sort after doing that. If you do not wish to enable compatibility view every time you want to sort, Go into compatibility view settings and add the site www.verizon.com to the list.

Replacement for Classic Mail E Mail

Just got a e mail from the boss to say that Classic Mail is closing on 3rd June.
Clicked on the link to upgrade, & it says I will have to agree to new T&C's.
But when I did this I was diverted direct into the new mail.
Also when I logged out of this I selected my icon for e mail & went directly back into Classic Mail.
Have BT messed up?
I only ask because I don't want to have a major problem on 3rd June & have no e mail!

I'll be interested to see if they get out of the contract. The changes would need to be seen as a material disadvantage which the clause that has been changed/ added does not appear to be. (seems to be about scanning for malware and spam). Also I think they would argue that the email is a free service. You pay for the Broadband. If you don't want to agree to the conditions you can opt out of having the email address without opting out of having broadband. That is in the above link about the upgrade.
What will happen if I don't accept the terms of service?As this is the only version of BT Yahoo! Mail we will now be offering, you won't be able to access the service unless you accept our terms of service.

Migrating my existing customization to new Version

Ok since this is a pretty broad question and also since I had people laughing at me on the Bind (DNS) mailing list with a separate but related question I will provide some figures if it helps:
basically I am getting about 500 hits/month from web server and quite a few queries on DNS primary and secondary/day although not quite sure how to measure that.
The main server which currently I'm using a 1GB memory 3.4GHz PIV machine is doing ok but since I plan to VPN multiple sites in I will most likely need something with more memory although unsure of to go for single or dual socket system.
I reckon for Scalix and Zimbra a quad core single socket will be ok with round 2-4GB of memory. But I'm still not sure if I would need to go for dual socket systems in my setup unless I virtualize??

The new version of firefox does not meet my customization needs, because I can't hide the navigation bar.

I can't replicate this in the newer version, even in the classic view, I can't hide the navigation bar.

With the classic view extension provided by Mozilla, you have the ability to move that, as well as the URL bar, back down to the bottom where I usually keep them. This leaves me with an empty navigation bar but no way to hide it.

Yahoo! mail does not work on iphone 4

I have created a brand new password for my Yahoo! Mail, deleted the account on my iphone, reinstalled the Yahoo! Mail account on my iphone, and I'm still getting an error message saying it cannot complete my request. HELP!!

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
