New version of iTunes will not access the iTunes Store
I installed the latest upgrade 10.4.1 on my PC. It will not access the iTunes store. I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled several times. Does anyone know where to reinstall an earlier version of iTunes?
Try performing a System Restore to a date before Apple released the iTunes update. Go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-is-System-Restore for more information.

Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

The new version of iBooks will not open on my iPad(3gen) after it was installed. Reinstalling makes no difference. It opens then closes right away. Any fix??

I have quicken 2000 for mac on an old mac and wish to upgrade to a new laptop running snow leopard. Quicken 2006 on my new laptop runs, but will not recognize the old data qif files. What version of quicken for mac will recognize files from 2000? Or, is there a special procedure I should be following?

My Ipod Touch 4th Generation is connected to wi-fi and will not open the app store. Says it cannot connect to iTunes Store. I can get on the internet but for some reason it won't connect to the app store or the Software Updates.

About 1 year ago, I can not access the App Store. The message that appears is: "One Moment Please. Connecting to the iTunes Store. Loading ... " I've tried all the aids presented in this and other forums and nothing solves. iTunes connects normaly...
Your profile indicates your Mac is running v10.7.2
If that is correct, updating your system software may help.
Click Software Update from the Apple menu.
Restart your Mac after updates are installed then try the App Store.
If you can't update that way, there's a workaround.
Install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
Then restart your Mac and try the App Store.

There is a screen lock. If the Rotation Lock is on you will see a circular arrow surrounding a small lock at the top of your screen near the battery level indicator. To turn on or off the Rotation Lock swipe up from the very bottom of the screen to being up the Control Center. Look for that same icon and tap it.

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Force close the App Store app and reset the iPad. No data will be lost when you reset the device.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

I have an iMac 4,1 and it will not recognize the app store. It did not bother me until i realized that iphoto and the address book were not on the computer. How do i get the computer to recognize the app store so i can download these apps.Were you running iPhoto 9? If not do you have the disks that came with your iMac? It will have the iPhoto that came with your Mac, iPhoto 5 (06) on a disk similar to one of these:
If you were using a later version of iPhoto you will need the iLife disk it came on or, if it was iPhoto 9, get to the App Store to redownload it. So what version were you using before this happened?
As for the Address book you'll have to reinstal it from the Snow Leopard disk that you used to install Snow Leopard. It will be in the Optional Installs.pkg that's in the Optional Installs folder on the disk:

You can change the e-mail address associated with your Apple ID but not the Apple ID itself. Otherwise, you cannot update those apps, books and music bought using the old Apple ID. -

iTunes can access CDDB for track information after a CD has been imported into iTunes by using the Advanced menu option I mentioned in my previous post.
If you want to check it out, import a CD when you're not connected to the internet - or with Automatically retrieve CD track names from internet unchecked in your iTunes Importing Preferences.
After the CD has been imported there will be no track information included. But if you then select the tracks - all together, one at a time or in any combination you desire - and select Get CD Track Names, you will be pleasantly surprised.
