New version of JRA tool

A new version of the JRockit Runtime Analyzer (JRA) tool is available
for download on http://dev2dev.bea.com/products/wljrockit142/index.jsp
This version includes bugfixes and an updated look-and-feel. You need
this version to read recordings of the latest JRockit 1.4.2 release. The
Runtime Analyzer can of course still read recordings from older
JRockit versions.
What is JRA?
The WebLogic JRockit Runtime Analyzer (JRA) is an internal tool used by
the JRockit development team to analyze runtime performance of the
JRockit VM and Java applications running on JRockit. The tool provides a
wealth of information on internals in WebLogic JRockit that are
interesting to the development team. Many of these metrics are
interesting to Java developers using JRockit as their runtime as well.

The latest version of MapViewer is 10.1.2
This is released and available as part of the Application Server 10.1.2 release. A qucikstart kit is available from the OTN page for MapViewer.
A preview version of the revised map definition tool will be available on OTN at a later date.

Bookmarks toolbar shows only blank. Can not get any bookmarks to appear on the toolbar.

After trying pretty much every fix out there I found a solution. Trash all the contents in the Preferences folder inside Library and restart. Hope it helps.

New Version of PortalTools

Hi,
I recently have installed new version of portal tools
9.0.2.6.2 and it seems the new version of omniportlet
has been upgraded but the version of web clipping
seems only partially upgraded? Basically the parameter
part at the bottom is missing any suggestions?

Got an iMac and used migration tool (PC to Mac). When I try iTunes i get The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version.... download iTunes now? but i have it already???

Unless you've tried to install an older version of iTunes that message likely indicates a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash...

Click-path: File - Export
Take your pick.
With install of Acrobat 9 the Help PDF is installed also.
From the this PDF's Bookmarks expand Chapter 5's bookmark and select "Convert PDFs to Word".

I got the new version of firefox and I have lost the tools at the top of my page such as the refresh butten. how can i get this back

I downloaded the new version of firefox. I restarted my computer. I no longer have the tools at the top of my page such as the refresh button. I need help getting those buttons back.

Firefox 4 uses a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is positioned at the right end side of the location bar.<br />
During the page load process it shows as a Stop button and after the loading has finished the button is changed to a Reload button.<br />
If you type in the location bar then that button becomes a Go button.<br />
Middle-click the Reload button to duplicate the current tab to a new tab.<br />
To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
* Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

How do I get to the Firefox equivalent of IE's "check for newer versions of stored pages" under tools, IE options

I need the firefox equivalent of Internet Explorer's (v8) "check for newer versions of stored pages under Tools, Internet Options, Browsing history. I cannot find where this would be in firefox and have an application that depends on seeing a "fresh" copy of a page each time it's served up by the web. Please advise.

Not sure whether for instance you initially had a Yahoo optimised version of Firefox, and have now overwritten it with an official Mozilla version. Although the Mozilla version should NOT add unwanted features, but the Yahoo version may well do.
If you merely need to find the Yahoo emails page quickly just add it as a bookmark or as a bookmark on the Bookmarks toolbar and make sure that is visible.
Clicking the star icon on the location bar whilst looking at your emails will bookmark the page.

I do not use Yahoo myself,and am not sure what add-ons are available. You could search yourself using

New version will not work with yahoo tool bar. How can I fix this problem ?

I can not download newer themes. It continues to say So and so could not be installed because Firefox does not have the needed files. Also.. For the newer version, where is the tools option?

The Firefox versions which come with many Linux distros have the default Mozilla Firefox updater disabled and use the distros built-in updater.

Designer ES is a step backwards in design tools.... when will a new version be released????

After using this tool for a couple of days, I have realized that the Adobe Designer ES application is a huge step backwards.
I have worked with JetForm 99, Designer 5, 7, 7.1, 8 (briefly), 8.1(briefly) and now ES. ES is by far the most unfriendly from the Designer's perspective.
- xfa.host.print is not supported. I cannot print a form to legal sized paper, even though it is set properly on the master page by the new form wizard/assistant.
- read only fields are in the tabbing order.... thereby making them something other than 'read only'.
- when designing, a selection of multiple fields is not maintained from one operation to the next.
- The relationship between a field listed in hierarchy and in the design view is broken.
- duplicating and copying and pasting of objects is different.
Okay, some of these might be growing pains... but not all. So is a new version in the works? When will it be released?

7.1.3 will not install, Says I have a "Newer Version", but none installed!

Okay,
As I'm sure most people have noticed,the new build of iTunes is not running smoothly. I've tried to install the updated build but it wouldn't work. It installed iTunes and the New Quicktime. It failed to open. So I do what apple tells me to: Try re-installing it.
But after uninstalling both to try and reinstall, iTunes won't install quicktime anymore. And when I try to use the standalone Quicktime installer, it tells me that I cannot install because I have a newer version than 7.1.3 on my computer!And when I install iTunes (without it installing quicktime, on it's own mind you)and then open it, it says I must have Quicktime installed to use it. Even my Quickitme plugins for my internet don't work!
I know this is impossible. And I've tried to rectify it every way I know how. Delete the remaining files in Windows and Program Files, use the Windows Installer Clean Up tool, try re-installing in safe mode, BUT NOTHING WORKS! I'd really like to use the new iTunes but I can't do anything with it untill I fix the quicktime problem.
If anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated. Thank you.

There is no quicktime folder there. And no quicktime program is installed when I try to install iTunes. The only reason I tried installing quicktime in standalone was because the itunes install was not actively going to the quicktime part of its installation.
I've tried removing everything and only installing iTunes. But even after deleting the physical files, using the WIndows Install cleanup tool, and cleaning up my registry, the quicktime portion of the iTunes install doesn't complete, and I keep getting "unknown" errors from the crash prevention program, and from what I can see it's because there's no physical Quicktime program installed.
As for other accounts, no I cannot start it up with other accounts, I keep getting the "Unknown" error and there is no physical files for quicktime anywhere.
And selective startup doesn't seem to work as there is NO qttask option when I run selective startup.
So, I seem to be out of options, and thing else I could try?
