NEW VERSION OUT THERE OF BLACKBERRY LINK, 1.1.1.32

Just inquired with Bell if there was a new update for BlackBerry Link -- may I pass on a reminder to BlackBerry to put the notice out there... perhaps I just missed it. Possibly this is the Outlook syncing feature people have been talking about...
I had to call Bell to figure out how to download the Update -- they told me to go to ca.blackberry.com/ and babysat me through it -- you have to go to that main page, then click on Software at the top, then go down the page to the section on BlackBerry Link for OS 10, and click on the line "learn more about BlackBerry Link" and when on that page, click the button for Download for PC or Download for Mac... mine went smoothly. My Z10 was on at the time, connected to cellular and to the resident house WiFi, not connected to the computer but just sitting on a table nearby, and some kind of communication between the two I believe took place, what I don't know, or perhaps it was over the clouds...
Hint to BlackBerry: Maybe put a line on the Link software itself as to how and where to update it? And some kind of thing on the web such as "Check for latest update for Link software" "How to update your Link Software" -- maybe those two exercises could be combined.... but the latest version number should be publicized on the BlackBerry websites, folks.... also don't hide the procedure away so effectively!! We dummies might get confused and complain...
Maybe also send a text message to the phone, or an email : I got an email from BlackBerry itself re updating my device software a while back, they should do the same for Link.

.32 is a couple weeks old, if I recall correctly... anyway, yes you should have been notified while using Link.

Update your iOS.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

I am trying to authorize a new computer but there is no link under "store" to do so. Any ideas?

Hi, I went into the support section for authorizing a new computer and it says the following:
Open iTunes
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer. (In earlier versions of iTunes, access this option from the Advanced menu).
When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password, then click Authorize.
There is no link for Authorize this Computer (or anything else for that matter). Does anyone know how to authorize a new computer?

Just Bought A Touch, But Newer Version Out Soon?

I just picked up an ipod touch a couple of days ago. My question is what happens to me if the new version of the touch comes out in September/October? Obviously newer tech & features would make me want the new one instead. Since I just bought it, is there an exchange/grace period where I can get the new version if this happens?

I got my iPod Touch a few months after it was first released I believe, now I am stuck with the old, non-speaker having, iTouch. sigh And because I got it when it was pretty much just released, and that the newer versions came out over the months, I could NOT trade it in for a new one. Which I find unfair now since my 8gb has dropped $100 in price and can even have a speaker in it.
Currently, there's rumors that they'll be an iPod Touch that'll have a camera in it.
My Advice To You: Search out tech sites, read the rumors, return your iPod (if you want), wait a couple months, buy the awesome new iPod touch that'll come out.
Can't wait for the iPhone to come to Verizon! i'll get my moneys worth.

I am a serious dumbbell when it comes to the new phones out there and I want to upgrade...

My current phone is 6+ years old. The most technical thing I have done on it was to download a ringtone. Yep... seriously.
Now I need a phone that I can surf the internet. I still do not need texting although I am told by relatives that it is the only way to stay in touch CHEAP!! OK so maybe I could use that feature also.
I need the phone to be able to upload programs for the medical field and take great photos.

My sendnow is no longer linked to my outlook, how do I get the new version on there?

I want to have the ability to access Adobe Send on my outlook tool bar just like I did before my SendNow quick access was removed. Before it used to prompt me when my files were too big and give me the option to use SendNow and now it doesn't.

The Outlook Plugin for Adobe Send supports Outlook 2010 and 2013. There are no plans to make it compatible with Outlook 2007, since it's a much older version.

Warnoux where are you trying to download Lightroom 5.5 from? You can download the updates directly from Product updates.

I cannot override my previous version of Firefox with v4.0. When I try to drag it into applications, I get a message that there is a newer version already there (not true).

I have been following the download instructions. But I never get a prompt to place the file into the Applications folder. So I open the file, drag it to Applications, and get a message that I already have a newer file in Applications. However, this is not true. When I drag the file to the Firefox icon, I am told that can't be done because Firefox is already open.
I have done several other updates, never had this problem before. I have a MacBook.

E-Mail Notification for new versions of Flash Player?

I work in a internal IT department with just under 500 PCs. I dot not have my user base setup with admin rights. So when a new version of Adobe Flash Player comes out, I have to have it tested. Then push it to a beta group and then deploy to the rest of the company. My question is that I would like to receive a notice via email that there is a new version out there that I should get started on my testing. Right now, my user base quite often find out before me or as soon as I do.
Any Ideas?

I currently use a free web service called FollowThatPage.com which sends me an email anytime a webpage changes.
You could setup a watch pointed at the flash player versions page: Archived Flash Player versions
And you'll get an email anytime the page is updated. There are advanced options for filtering out changes only to the content you care about.

I was going to order an iPad for Christmas. Was wondering if there will be a newer version out soon? Never fails I get something and a newer/better one comes out soon after.

PORDER object links copying to new version

When a new version of a document is created as a copy of the previous version, the PORDER object links are being copied to the new version along with the MARA links. This results in the PORDER record being in the DRAD table but not the DRAD_PORDER table, which ultimately shows the incorrect document version on production orders. This only happens when the document version is created in a source client and ALE'd to a target client. If we manually create a new document version using a template, we are OK. Our configuration is set up to not maintain object links via ALE.
Has anyone else had this happen, or have any ideas on where we can look?

I think we found our problem. In configuration for defining the object links for a document type, we needed to uncheck the Obj Link Target Syst checkbox. (While still keeping the No Maint via ALE checked).
