Yeah !
with this solution, user can choose its own colors.
So Henry can choose a blue/green color scheme and Mary a pink/yellow one with purple buttons (her favorite color...)
this tool is realy fantastic !

How to resolve error in opening White Paper from OTN?

Attn: Oracle Reports Team
I want to optimize/tune my report. I was suggested from this forum to read White Paper available at http://otn.oracle.com/products/reports/pdf/275641.pdf.
I tried several times to open/print The white paper on above address but always got an error 'There was a problem reading this document (14)':
Previously I have been able to open and print white papers but here is some problem on the document side. Pl. guide as how I can I get this problem resolved.
Is Oracle Reports Team responsibel for resolving such problems or if there is some other department, let me know their contact so that I can take up matter with them. I need this white paper urgently as I am stuck up with a report. This report is taking 4 hours to process while expectation is 20 minutes.
Pl. help.

Brian,
there are four possible reasons why this could happen
1. you didn't specify the correct domain. A wrong domain makes the cookie not accessible for the Reports Server
2. The Reports Server is in another timezone than the Forms Client. This way the default validity of teh cookie is exceeded to the time you request the cookie. If this is the case, add the offset to the max age value
3. You change dthe encryption key either on the Reports Server or the cookie client.Default value is reports9i for Oracle9i Reports.
4. - unlikely - you try to run this solution iwth Forms and Reports 6i. This doesn't work.

How do I find the report server name, and then run paper report from forms?

How do I find the report server name, and then run paper report from forms?
I am having a problem running report 9i from forms 9i (see below thread). How do I find out the name of the report server? I checked my C:\ids\reports\conf directory but don't see anything that gives me the name of the reports server. I also don't have a iashome directory.
Also, I just want to run the paper report (not the web version).

please read teh Forms / Reports integration paper in teh Collateral section for Oracle9i Forms at otn.oracle.com/products/forms
In summary, you have to create an external Reports Service that you can then give a name.

How would I display paper report, called from forms?

I want to call reports 9i, from forms 9i, and display the paper report on the screen. How would I do this? So far I have gotten forms to call the report and give me a status back of FINISHED, but I don't see anything displayed on my screen.

We got the configuration upload to work today and it did show up rather fast on Metalink 3. What we ended up having to do, was to install the software twice on the server once in the c:\sba80\gtwysrvr and once in the c:\sba80\siebsrvr directory.
If you are behind a proxy remember to use the -p parameter when calling setupCCR.

I recently updated my new iphone 4 from ios6 to ios7. All of a sudden, my screen crashed and is now in a flashing white state with lines. I've reset the settings multiple times and the flickering has not disappeared. Please help

I recently updated my new iphone 4 from ios6 to the current ios7. It has been in use for a few days now and all of a sudden the screen crashed to a white display with lines. I have reset it a couple times but there has been no improvement in reducing the screen flicker. Please help

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.
