Hi Jim,
I have tried downloading a couple of your widgets and have had a couple of issues. Sorry about contacting you this way but your new web site will not allow me to email you it gives me an error message. Hopefully you will see this one and fix the email problem if it is something your end and possibly answer my query.
I have just tried the widget to put variables into a url - I am using Captivate 5 and it tells me that I have all the updates installed, I set up a variable called testurl and set it to www.ladbrokes.com then inserted the widget on slide 1, used it on slide 6 and told it to go to $$testurl$$
I published the project as a flash player 10 version and export to html. I copied the htm, swf and js file onto our intranet server, I then opened it using the correct url and played it. I got an error message saying page cannot be found with the url of http://www.ladbrokes.home/bs2000help/CSKB/$$testurl$$
So what am I doing wrong? Is there an extra setting I am missing?

How do I uninstall Mavericks and recover Lion? I have a brand new iMac and web pages stall or freeze since I installed Mavericks. I can't get it to download software for my printer when I connect it.

I have a brand new iMac. It was working fine until I downloaded Mavericks. Now I have web pages that freeze while trying to load. The blue in the address bar stalls and freezes. If I try to load from page 1 to a later page, or reverse that, I also have the same problem. I tried to connect my printer for the first time, and again, the blue progress bar froze. Then I got the yellow triangle telling me there was a connection problem. My internet connection is via an Air Card as that is my only option where I live. I packed up the whole new iMac and took it to my Air Card provider, where they also have very fast Wifi, and they had the same problem with Wifi. I use my Air Card with my MacBook and it works JUST GREAT! I really want to return to Lion. HELP.

The only way to retutn to Lion is to format your drive (erase, lose all) and either:
1. clone back the clone copy i hoep you have, or
2. first backup your files, then format and install Lion again
But really, mavericks works great. You have a problem. Find out why. First, what unusual software do oyu have installed that may be conflicting with it? Virus, system modifiers, etc? Second what OLD software do you have that might be the problem. finally, you might need to do a re-install if something errored during install.

New Pagelayout in Web page composer and TREX problem

Hello Experts-
I have created a custom page layout for web page composer pages. I havent included it any bundle file to, because we use it only for english language. Everything works as desired. But any new page created with this layout. System is not able to index it. Its fails to index with preparation failed error.
Does it have anything to do with the budnle file?
All other pages are getting indexed.
We are on EP 7.018 version of portal and same withh web page composer too.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Opening a web page in a new tab appear web page from the history

When I like to open a web page in a new tab, is opening a BLANK page and in the new tab's address bar appear a random web page address from history .

Try performing a clean reinstall.

The new altogether BT web page

Trying to login to the new altogether BT'S new web page.
Can't get passed the enter mobile phone bit, left it blank because I don't have a mobile phone.
Does that mean I can never access my online details?!!

Ok. I have just logged in to MyBT and gone through the process of getting my "new" BTID that is "supposed" to allow me access to all services in one place. Apart from mobile number being madatory, even though it is not **bleep**ged as such, I seem to have successfully negotiated my way to the main page.
Apart from the fact, I quite liked my old details, the idea was that this new set of credentials was supposed to enable me to only have one single set of credentials for all things BT. If this is the case, why is it that I can not access my email using these details (one of the things it listed that I would be able to access). The message I get, is:
"There isn't a BT Yahoo! Mail service associated with the username/email address you've entered"
I can still log in with my btinternet.com credentials, but what was the point of forcing me to change my BTID, as there is simply no benefit to this unless you are going to do it properly and completely

New York Times web page corrupted

In the last month the New York Times site has had consistent problems where pages display as unprintable characters on a white background. This occurs at random but frequently on pages throughout the site, as well as on the main page. This does not seem to be limited to Firefox, but it is much worse than with other browsers, including Chromium (linux) as well as Safari and Atomic on iPad.
The NYT support claims support on IE only and does not feel it's their problem.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
Such issues can be caused by a problem with the font that is used to display the text.
You can use this extension to see which fonts are used for selected text.

Creation of new field in Web Page

Hi All,
i am new in SAP CRM 2007. i wanted to add one field therefore i went to EEWB and try to create one extension. In extension i have enter all fields like Name, Description, EEW Bus. Object and Extension Type when i click on continue system is giving error that is "No request was sent" (No request was sent through the interface).
please tell me how to solve this error???

Check if you have followed the below steps:
-While creating new project in EEWB you Need to enter existing package then you will get transport request Dialog box .
-Click on create on continue which will then create the project.
-Then right click on Project create extesion.You must select EEW Bus Object and Extension Type Header or Item level.
-Then you will get the Wizzard and assign Transaction TYpe while proceeding in Wizzard.
-In define field you must maintain the data type i.e Character or check box
-In assign field must check header or Item and assign the subbobject and continue.
It may take some time but will create a new field.

New update and web page problems

After updating to new is on 3GS having problems bring up some webpages. I was able to view them with previous os.

Your wording is kinda crazy, but try this:
sync your iphone to your itunes, making sure to back up contacts, notes..etc.. then do a factory reset and install your iPhone as a new device, then back it up with the previous backup of the phone.

Stop add new bookmark for web page

How can i stop firefox asking to add a new bookmark for evony every time i visit?

I don't know whether there is a connection between the bookmark dialog and the lockup.
It's strange that you have two versions of Shockwave for Director. Can you disable the older one? Or disable both, if not needed for this site.
There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Open new tag window now blank - used to have links to web pages

On previous version when I opened a new tag the web page which opened had the icons of my most popular web pages visited. How do I get back to this feature? All I get now is a blank web page.

Select MacintoshHD in the Sidebar on the left then select the FirstAid tab. Click: Verify Disk
If Disk Utility reports errors, follow the instructions at this link. You will need your install disc. Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks
Also, check System Preferences (Applications folder) - Universal Access. See if you have any accessibility features enabled, in particular, Mouse keys under the Mouse tab.

Issue with New Web Form Created for Web Page Composer

I created new Web Form as per the example given on sdn: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/2041eb17-6001-2b10-b08d-b95ce55fa9b7
Everything looks fine with all the setup but when I restarted the Portal, I am not seeing this new webform where we see Article, List, Banner and other webform to create new document in Web Page Composer section.
Any idea what could be the reason behind this would be really helpful?

Can you please confirm if you have followed all the steps in here.
The following configuration steps are necessary:
1.Create a KM Resource Type
2.Create a Web Resource Type and assign the KM Resource Type to it
3.Extending the Configuration of Existing Web Resource Types and Containers
4.Referencing the XSL File in the Stylesheet Object
5.Creating a Stylesheet Group
6.Referencing the XML File in the Document Type
7.Restart the portal
Make sure that you store the files in the following KM folders:
The XML file in the /etc/wpceditor/types directory, the XSL files in the /etc/wpceditor/styles directory.

Haveing problems with Safari. It gives me an error message. Safari can't open the web page, because it can't establish a secure connection to the server. It only seams to have a problem on https sites. Any help would be apreciated.

The "s" in "https" indicates the site is a secure server--usually a site that will require a password. Connections to secure servers can be blocked by parental controls. Are you using any parental controls, either through OSX's settings (in System Preferences) or third party parental control software (such as Netnanny)? If so, check the settings to make sure they will allow the connection.
