Newbi question that is increasingly annoying to figure out....

Hi, the only experience i had using Premier Pro was at uni to export videos, so i don't know what i'm doing here.
All i want to do is bring in a bunch of images, and make them run all together for a set amount of time.
I have 600 JPG images exported from Maya, and i have brought them into Premier to export as a video, but when i bring them in, each frame is way too long. Selecting all frames and the right clicking and going to speed/duration, and setting it down to 1 so it runs basically 0.1ms per frame (or so i thought it would do), obviously didnt work. It made each frame last for that amount of time, but with big gapes between each frame. I looked into how to remove this, and came to Ripple Delete. This only work 1 at a time though, and selecting all and right clicking and going to Delete Ripple near the top of the menu just randomly deletes ever frame leaving me with nothing?? This seems like such as simple thing to do but it is hard to figure out.
I also tried changing the fps when starting up the project from 25fps to something higher, but it woudn't let me.
Please help, it'd be greatly appreciated!!

Bizarre Server syncing quandary that I just can't figure out! Help?

My work computer has been a PC, and it is on its last leg (the blue screen of death). Acting proactively, I went out and bought a new computer (an iMac). All of my computers are Mac's, so I was quite happy to transition at work from PC to Mac.
I had our IT Department set the new iMac up on their server (mail, files, etc), so that all my files remain backed up as they always were when I was using my PC. Our IT Department does not have a lot of background experience setting Mac's up on their server, but alas, they were able to do it, and all was perfect (or so I thought). My mail works fine, my MobileMe syncing works fine, etc. When reviewing my files (Office Documents), however, I found an interesting anomaly that I can't seem to understand. Btw, the software issue in question is Office for Mac 2011.
I decided to check the effectiveness of the syncing by opening both my PC and my iMac. I modified a "Word" file on my PC (all files live on the work server), and as soon as I clicked "save", I was able to watch the file instantly update on my iMac as well (thus insuring me that the server was doing as it was supposed to and syncing my documents between the two computers). I'm still using the PC as I need to finish up a few things with it (hopefully before it crashes on me permanently).
Here is where the oddity comes in. While this updating and synchronization appears to work perfectly for all "Word" files, the same is not so for "Excel" files. In fact, after modifying an Excel file on my PC, I again watched the iMac to see if that same file would update and sync. It did not. For some odd reason, "Word" files modified on my PC will instantly sync and modify on my iMac, however, when modifying Excel files on my PC, they will not update and sync with the iMac. Not sure why I am having this issue?
If none of my Office files were syncing, than I'd probably question whether or not our IT Department set me up on their server correctly. However, given that all "Word" files appear to sync appropriately, I'm not sure I understand why the same is not true for "Excel" files.
I thought I'd throw the question out here, so that perhaps I can go into work tomorrow with some answers when I re-approach our IT Department with this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem resolved. I figured out the problem. Naturally it was a PC issue. Now that I no longer have a PC, all problems are resolved!

Dreamweaver Newbie making first site. Trying to figure out this CSS thing...

This is my first attempt and first site with DW and am having some newbie issues. The website is www.accuvisionvideo.com. The site is based on a DW template I picked up from a website. If you go to the page you will see a menu on the left hand side and the body of the page mostly in the middle. I am using Studio VII pop menu magic for that menu. I want to make the thing horizontal, but still keep the side bar area (the photos and such underneath the menu) However when I make the menu horizontal it removes everything from the left side space and does not give me the option to work in there any more. How do I place images and text in the left column? If I am not mistaken its a CSS thing...Also is there anyway to place images anywhere on the page. Now when I insert an image it seems to have to be either fltlft or fltrt, I can't put multiple images on the same line?   Anyway I know these are noob questions, thank for any help guys.

The PVII menu will insert into any div on your page. What you need to do is create a brand new div just below your header div and insert the pvii menu into that div. This way the new div won't take any styles from any of the current div styles on the page.

If the images are too wide, they will drop down to the next line (like the images at the bottom of the entry page now.)
the fltlft and fltrt,are classes, that float and image to the left or to the right, so you can have text surrounding the image.
Also, for such a simple page you have over 78 errors when you put the page throught he html validator:

The majority of them will certainly need fixing before creating any further pages using a similar layout.
Just notice this also:

That's not a web-safe font, if someone doesn't have that on their system, they will not see that font, they'll be served the default font
of their browser set.

Newbie question: Why is "learn sound model" greyed out when trying to remove background sounds in a file using the Spectral Frequency display?

I am trying to remove background sounds in a file using the Spectral Frequency display. The first edit on a new file, this process works fine:
1. use brush to cover sound
2. right click, learn sound model
3. effects/noise-reduction-restoration/Sound Remover
The next time I try to remove another sound in the file, "learn sound model" is greyed out. I have to close the file and reopen to be able to make another edit. What on earth is going on? Can it only learn one sound model or something?
I'm a newbie, so thanks in advance for your advice!

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Ho do I move things arround in the dock after they are added? Only way I found was to delete and re-add????

I'm not sure what is wrong with 3 computers besides:
1) user error
If you click and don't immediately move the mouse, the menu will open and you can't move it.
2) you cloned the same bad install, or migrated from a bad install.
It should just work. I can move my Dock icons on a MBP without issue (except as noted in 1 above) with all click+drag options turned off or on.

I purchased a song off of itunes and it said it downloaded successfuI but when i go to listen to that song it only plays 2 seconds of the song and i cant figure out how to download it again. What can i do.

Need help- trying to figure out if Spotify would work for my senior living community

We are a senior community that has activity programs running in like 7-10 areas in the building. Music is a big part of our day. CD's for all these areas is getting crazy. There has got to be a better way. We want to be able to pick music genre, a song even to hear and have playlists. What we have currently: We have some laptops and desktop computer using windows. We also have a few MP3 players, boomboxes and IPODS. We also have Wifi. But sometimes of course we have Wifi issues. We have access to usually a laptop or boombox. We could use the MP3 players/ipods. I like the idea of playlists that we share, pulling music that is alike. These are my quesitons or issues below: Things are my questions:1. Can we have 1 account be made for different appliances and be on spotify at the same time? Premium said 3 but you can't be both logged in under each account. Is this still true? Postings were old. 2. With even the Spotify family can you be on to the account at the same time? 3. What would be our best solution for this for accounts- would we have to set up different account for each device if we want to play at the same time? Any ideas - I just really need suggestions4. If we did our laptops, we would need speakers? Also for boomboxes- is this possible? I am assuming using like an MP3 player or IPOD. Spotify work through them? Is it certain type of MP3 players and IPODS. I believe a few of ours are older ones. 5. If we have tons of accounts, can I start all accounts on same computer? Would I set them up by each device we have?6. Can you run ipod/mp3 through large TV speakers? or laptop music through big screen tv speakers?7. For the music itself, can you pick what exact songs in playlist? Can you make lots of playlist per account? I saw 3,300 songs but can you name the playlist and stay forever? 1: Each Spotify account can only play on one device at a time. You can have the account logged into as many devices as you want, but you can only play on one device at a time.
2: With Spotify family, there are several Spotify accounts under one plan. Each account is able to play on one device at a time.

4: You wouldn't necessarily have to have speakers hooked up to the laptop. If the laptop has speakers or you input headphones, that should work. Spotify doesn't work with MP3 players/iPods. To use Spotify you have to have the Spotify app.

7: Yes you can search Spotify and add any song you want to a playlist. And you can also make lots of playlists. Each playlist has a limit of 10,000 songs. The 3,333 limit you saw is for the offline limit on premium accounts. Up to 3,333 songs can be downloaded for offline listening.
Hopefully this information helps. The family plan can have up to 5 accounts. It might end up being too expensive for what you need. The free plan has ads, but it still might be worth looking into.

If you just post the relevant coe, it has a better chance of formatting.

1) How should i figure out which enhancement point i should use for particular issue (When the user is going from Vendor Address to Vendor control Screen while creating the vendor. It should an error mess if the user is using wrong vendor code?

If anyone has an answer/solution that's great...

Can't figure out how to use home sharing

Since the latest couple iTunes updates, my family and I can not figure out how to use home sharing. Everyone in our household has their own iTunes, and for a long time we would just share our music through home sharing. But with the updates, so much has changed that we can no longer figure out how to use it.
I have a lot of purchased albums on another laptop in the house, that im trying to move it all over to my own iTunes, and I have spent a long time searching the internet, and everything. And I just can't figure out how to do it. So.... how does it work now? I would really like to get these albums from my moms iTunes, onto mine. I would hate to have to buy them all over again.
If anyone is able to help me out here, that would be great! Thanks!

The problem im having is that after I am in another library through home sharing, I can't figure out how to select an album and import it to my library. They used to have it set up so that you just highlight all of the songs you want, and then all you had to do was click import. Now I don't even see an import button, or anything else like it. So im lost... I don't know if it's something im doing wrong, or if our home sharing system just isn't working properly.

Figuring out how to extract images from a PDF file

Hi,
I'm trying to write a small app that extracts all images from a PDF file. I already wrote a nice parser and it works good but the only problem is that I can't quite figure out from the reference how to decode all images in a PDF file to normal files such as tiffs, jpegs, bmps etc. For now I'm focusing on XObject images and not dealing with inline images.
From what I understand so far just by trying and looking at open sources I figured that if I see a XObject Image with a DCTDecode filter, taking the stream data without doing anything to it and saving it as a jpeg file works. But doing the same to FlateDecoded streams or CCITTFax didn't work.
What is the right way to properly extract the images?

In general you have to
* decode the stream
* extract the pixel data
* use ColorSpace, BitsPerComponent, Decode and Width to unpack pixel
values
* reconstruct an image file format according to its specification
There are no other shortcuts. The DCTDecode shortcut (which doesn't
work for CMYK JPEG files) is just a piece of fantastic good luck.

I have tried other methods, but this is the one I receive the least amount of errors on. The script starts to have issues here: $newgrp = [adsi]::Exists("WinNT://$computer/$lg,group")
I have looked information up about WinNT Exists and it appears it has some issues. I have been trying to figure out how to add the domain groups to the local computer's groups. The tricky part is that the script has to run without knowing the computer's
name so it can run on any domain. If anyone could help me out with this last part I would be very grateful.

The script should be using WinNT to find computers on the domain and add domain group to each of those computers local group. I have provided portions of the xml file and instructions to help clarify.

I want IOS 7 until Apple figures out wifi in IOS 8

Why can't I revert to IOS 7 until Apple figures out how to make wifi work in IOS 8? All of my devices have created wifi nightmares, both at home and at work, since IOS 8. At home, the router started freaking out the moment IOS 8 was installed. At work, wifi is useless since IOS 8. Apple has had numerous software revs to get this ironed out, and it continues to be a failure. I want to be able to roll back, why should this be prohibited?
Side note: I find it hilarious that I can't submit to this forum from an IOS device using Safari, I had to use my windows laptop. Awesome.

No, I haven't contacted apple support, you got me there.
Since it occurred on both my iPad and iPhone when I updated to ios 8 (at roughly the same time), I think any reasonable person could assume that it's not faulty hardware.
My problem is that by the time I figured out it was IOS causing all my headaches and not my network hardware, Apple decided to stop signing IOS 7, so I couldn't revert.

Is there a way to figure out what takes up a lot of memory using Spotlight?

My 80 GB iMac apparently has 70 of the gigabytes used by various things on the computer, but I am at a loss as to what. My pictures take up about 15 GB and my music about the same, but even with that amount, I can't figure out where the other 50 have gone. I'm thinking there might be something like a large movie I created long ago hidden somewhere but it's not in any obvious place. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to search for files by size using a method that would perhaps list what is the biggest and therefore taking up all this space because I am almost out of disk...
