Newbie can't figure out how to play one song only.

So I just got up and running with my new iPod 80GB Video. I ripped 3 CDS of tunes to mp3's with iTunes and loaded them into the iPod and it plays but I can't figure out how to just play a single song, it always continues to the next song alphabetically. I've looked in the online manuals and couldn't find where you set "single" instead of "play all". I'm in Songs menu, not Artists or Albums. Please help.

The iPod isn't designed to work like this, and I think the only workaround is to create a playlist with one song in it.

I rented a movie and can't figure out how to play it. It does not appear in my movies and does not have a play button on the main movie screen.

This should help. Presumably you have not tried to move your movie to some other device as it can only be on one device at a time. Also, presumably you allowed it to finish downloading.

I can't figure out how to sync my songs I downloaded to my itunes?

I downloaded songs to itunes on my computer. I can't figure out how to sync them to my ipod. It says to click devices and pull up my ipod, but there is no "devices" listed, though I have registered, etc.?

Connect your iPod to the computer with the provided cable.
Open up iTunes.
You should see your iPod in the Device list.
Click on it.
Choose what you want to sync to your iPod and then click Sync.

I'm trying to connect a BlueTooth headset to my Mac Mini. I can discover it, but soon after discovery it disconnects. Can't figure out how to reconnect. My only option seems to be re-discovery

I can discover the headset, but soon after discovery it disconnects. Haven't been able to figure out how to try to re-connect. And the help section titled "Use BlueTooth has absolutely no information on how to use it. All I can do is re-discover it. Every time I rediscover it, it disconnects shortly afterward. This headset works well with both my iPhone and iPad and has for quite some time. But it won't stay connected to my Mac.

Tried with another headset that works fine with iPhone and iPad. An LG HBS700. Same problem. It connects for maybe 10 seconds and then disconnects. So it must be a problem on the Mac. But this Mini is out of warrentee so taking it into an Apple store to get it repaired isn't a good solution. Maybe as a last resort.
Is there a way to select connect on the Mac? Everything else I've connected a BlueTooth device to has both a command for pairing and a command for connecting or reconnecting. I can't figure out how to select connect on the Mac.

I am new at the Itunes store.   I bought a prepaid card. Bought 1 song. I don't remember how I did that. Now I have a balance available and I would like to buy other songs. But I can not figure out how to do it at all. I have been trying for 2 hours.   Can someone please give me detailed Steps on what to do . I want to buy some songs. I see the songs I want to buy and the price at the end.   If I scoll down from the price ... there is no BUY OPTION.
There is GIFT IT and Add to Wishlist.... but nothing about Buy.
Is this because it is in my wish list.   should I just start over. and go one song at a time .??

Stupid Me, I can't figure out how to play a single album

I listen to my iPod via the app on my iPhone4. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to shuffle play automatically just the songs on one album. I'll be happy to just play the songs on a single album sequentially.

You say shuffle then say sequential so not sure which you want.
If you are stuck on shuffle it is because you tapped shuffle at some point which turned the option on.
Go play any song. When playing and you see the album art tap center of screen on the art and another set of controls will come down.
That set of controls has Genius, Shuffle, Repeat, Progress etc to let you toggle on and off things such as Shuffle (blue is on, white is off).
There is also a link to the iPhone manual in your Safari bookmarks or you can Google search "iPhone Manual" to find the PDF via computer to read up on the controls of the iPod player.

Newbie can't figure out how to post

I have been trying to figure out how to post a question for an hour. THere IS no button to click that says POST MESSAGE when I pull up the IPHOTO topic. Where could it be?

You've posted two questions successfully in this forum, and the forums are formatted exactly the same way throughout the site.
When you say, "pull up the iPhoto topic," do you mean that you have chosen a topic to read to which you would also like to reply?
Can you be a little more specific as to where you are looking for a Post Message button? Is it possible the topic you were looking at is either locked or archived (there would be a note indicating either possibility at the top of the topic's text), in which case there is no Post Reply button available...?
Is it possible that you were looking at the iPhoto Category page (here) which contains a list of forums (though it does resemble a list of topics), rather than a particular iPhoto forum? If yes, then you will have to choose a forum from the list in order to post a message.

SQL Query (updateable report) - Can't figure out how to make one

Hi folks,
Can someone tell me how to make a report where the data can be updated? Not an interactive report, a SQL report that selects only one row. The only options in the drop down I see are "SQL Query" and "SQL Query (PL/SQL function body returning SQL query)", but I have a report elsewhere that says it's type is "SQL Query (updateable report)", but I can't remember how to do it :(

I can't figure out how to delete one particular song

I have one song that isnt on my phone any more but the song is still listed, but it is grayed out. I cant swipe it to delete it. When I am in itunes it is not listed so I cant delete it from there. I have deleted all the music from my phone, yet the song is still listed. I have re downloaded the song but it just adds the song again underneath the greyed out one. This greyed out song is driving me nuts!

Assuming that this is on your iOS device, then you can change a contact's details via the Contacts app. If it's not linked to one of your contacts then I get a blue 'i' to the right of the email address on the popup list :

If you have an iPod tho, you will want to make sure "Only Update Checked Songs" is UNCHECKED in the preferences

Can't figure out how to play high definition iTunes TV shows on my TV

I bought a bunch of high definition TV shows from iTunes and when I tried to sync them to
my fifth generation iPod so that I could watch them on my TV, iTunes refused to sync them, gave me the message that they weren't loaded because my iPod couldn't play them. I don't want to play them on my iPod, just want the files on my iPod so that I can connect it to my TV to watch them on my TV.
So how the heck am I supposed to watch them on my TV?

Yes, you are trying to play them on your iPod and display them on your television.
