Newbie iPhone developer trying to get App on iPhone

Hey.
I have gotten the dreaded error trying to get the my app on the iphone to trouble shoot it.
Here is what I get on the console.

If the apps are compatible with the device (e.g. you have at least the minimum iOS version, and it's not, for example, and iPhone-only app that you want to install on an iPad), then you should either be able to re-download it directly on the device via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or you can sync it via your computer's iTunes.
If you are having problems getting the app on the device, then what is the app (and is it compatible with that device) and what iOS version is on it (Settings > General > About > Version ; an app's minimum iOS version should be shown on its description page in the store).

Sounds like you actually have a 1st generation as those cannot update beyond iOS 3.1.3.

Welcome to the Apple community.
Try tapping the app again to restart the download. Downloading from the iTunes Store has been a little problematic of late, but if you keep trying they do eventually download.

Whatever the reasons are that you think the problem exists, you will not be able to resolve it on your own. Did you see this at the bottom of the support article that I suggested that you read?

Error 1 or -1
This may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues, and restore your device on a different known-good computer. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
It sounds like you have a hardware problem ((device may need service). Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Some very "newbie" networking questions -- trying to get started

Hello all. Since this forum is so friendly for issues related to Arch, I thought I'd post my semi-arch related question.
I'm trying to create a network for my house, consisting of about 3 computers. I have a book reference, TCP/IP Network Administration from O'reilly, but I think I need a bit of a "kick-start" in order to get to a level in which I can comfortably understand the book (if that makes sense).
I've got internet access working by connecting to a router and having everything configured by DHCP (ie, in rc.conf, eth0="dhcp"). What's bothering me (and I don't even know if it should) is that the other computers on the physical network are not visible to me.
IE, when I try to connect to them with their host name, it doesn't recognise them. My understanding of that is that either I need to manually set the hostnames of the other computers on the network in /etc/hosts, or use something like a DNS server on one of the computers in the network in order to recognize the others.
My other doubt is that I think I've got a dynamic IP address (though it might be static, I'm not quite sure). Does that change things?
I don't expect you guys to completely run through me setting up the network (that's what the book is for!) but some basic advice on either my misconceptions (I'm sure I have plenty) or related in general to my situation would be awsome and highly appreciated. I'd also be happy to provide any additional info that would be helpful.

Aha! So, for example, the network 192.168.0.0 where mask is 255.255.255.0 is a private network set up by my router, right?
So the addresses in 192.168.0.0 never change, but the public IP address of the hosts do change?
Does that mean that if, for example, I have a host called 192.168.0.32 that its address never changes? Can I simply add that to all the other hosts' /etc/hosts file and it won't change?
All I was ever concerned about was allowing hosts in the network to contact each other via hostname. If that never changes then I'm all set.

Can't get app world?

Just got this phone today with Bell.
OS is 5.0.0.604
I don't have a data plan so I connected to the internet via wifi and tried to get app world but it gave me an error
"Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World."
Does this mean I *need* a data plan, or does App World just not support the Pearl at the moment?

You will need to add some type of BlackBerry Data plan. Some wireless providers offer a BIS/Personal Blackberry data plan that you can use. The Enterprise Data plan is for the Enterprise Activation which is required for synchronization with a BES server.

If you dont have none option then you must own itunes some money. So you have to enter the payment like a itunes giftcard. you can contact itunes by email by going to expresslane.apple.com

I'm trying to get my old information (apps, music) from my iphone that was previously on a different account to sync on a new account. I just got a new macbook pro and got a new account to go with it. Now i have tried to homeshare the accounts and drag the music over to download it onto this new account but i can't get the homesharing to work because it says the password doesn't match even though i have used the same one to log on and off of homesharing on my mom's account. I have recently tried to back up my phone onto this new account and it asks if i want to authorize it and asks for the password for my mom's account. I have the password but i am hesitant to authorize it with my mom's apple ID and password because i don't want her account to be on this computer. I want it to be my own account just with my personal music from my iphone on it. I dont know if it will just sync my iphone's information to my new account or just add my mom's apple ID account to my itunes on my computer. That number is for an apple server in the UK that is used for iMessage activation. A hidden SMS is snet to that number when you turn iMessage on and is used to verify your phone number. I suggest you turn iMessage off. In settings/phone turn on dial assist. Check with your carrier to see if you can send an international SMS as you end that possibility to activate iMessage. Rest your phone (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).) then turn iMessage back on.

You don't. Backup your itunes library on the old computer and move it to the new computer.
