Newbie---Recieved following message---what does it mean

Using Java (by visual--Hungry Minds .com) book, I installed j2sdk-1_3_1_02, set path to : PATH C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\JDK1.3.1_02\BIN ,Typed: C:\autoexec.bat at MSDOS prompt ,created a source code:
public class Hello
public static void main(String[] argu)
System.out.printin("Hello from Brent"):
saved it as "Hello.java" in notepad, in a file on C: (C:\Java).......
at MSDOS prompt typed : chdir C:\java ....then dir
to see my source file........then at the C:\Java prompt typed : javac Hello.java .....and recieved this message:

What do I need to do?
I am a newbie.....Thanks I need all the help I can get, but I will get this.

System.out.printin("Hello from Brent"):should be
System.out.printin("Hello from Brent");Java source code line terminators are semi-colons
