Newbie  sequences

Ok so im new to all this i'm not going to lie even though i got some background working with video fce is a lil more pro then im use to so, im having a problem were when any time i do anything with any clip it makes me sequences it before i can view it. it has become very aggravating ...please help

OK, great. The first one is a LiveType project file, except it's in the wrong format. It's in full size standard definition NTSC. Are you really working in NTSC not PAL? Standard definition in FCE is only in DV format, so in LiveType you should use the correct DV preset. This material will of course have to be rendered in the FCE timeline because it's only a project file and not a complete media file.
The second image in the next message is more problematic. It's in MPEG-4, which is delivery format and not used for editing. It's in square pixel 4:3. This is a computer format and not used by video. Again, FCE in standard definition is a DV only editing application. So this material needs to be converted to QuickTime in the DV NTSC codec. You can do this with MPEG Streamclip.
Make sure the sequence you're working in is also DV NTSC, 720x480, 29.97fps, CCIR601 aspect ratio, 48K sample rate. That's what you need o convert the media to in QuickTime in Streamclip or in the QuickTime Pro player.

  • Newb question - group by sequence number range

    Hi - I'm a newb to pl/sql but am pretty familiar with t-sql and sql server.
    Here's my question:
    I have a database table with ~1.6M records, call it "a". a has two columns, id (a sequence) and status. status has three possible values: null, error and success.
    I want to write a query that will group the sequence numbers into sets of 100k and give the the count of nulls, errors and successes for that set. The output should be something like:
    set null error success
    1-100,000 x y z
    100,001-200,000 x y z
    200,001-300,000 x y z
    Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    I scaled it down with a factor 1000, and here is the idea:
    SQL> create table a
      2  as
      3   select level id
      4        , decode(mod(level,3),1,'error',2,'success',null) status
      5     from dual
      6  connect by level <= 1600
      7  /
    Tabel is aangemaakt.
    SQL> select trunc((id-1)/100)*100 + 1 lb
      2       , trunc((id-1)/100)*100 + 100 ub
      3       , count(decode(status,'error',1)) err
      4       , count(decode(status,'success',1)) success
      5       , count(decode(status,null,1)) "NULL"
      6    from a

  • Newbie Q: I cannot find Sequence 01 tab

    Hi,
    I decided to give Premier Pro CS5 a try, having previously used Sony Vegas for the short videos I create.
    Everything was going very smoothly until I lost the Master Timeline Window (labeled Sequence 01). On it I had a number of video and audio tracks laid out with all the necessary fad in and outs and other settings.
    When I open the project, I have the following tabs visible on my screen.
    Project
    Media Browser
    Program (no sequences)
    Timeline (no sequence)
    All the options under Sequence are greyed out.
    Thanks you for your help.

    Only you would know the "reason" why you deleted a sequence.
    I would be thinking that you didnt do this and it is still there in the Project Bin....somewhere.
    Look a little harder for it.  If there is a Folder Icon at the top of the bin...click it open.
    Type 01 in the search bar maybe.

  • Help to get from video to sequence (newbie - Print person learning video)

    I have .vob video files I am bringing into iSquint and converting to .mp4. I then bring that into MPEG Streamclip and have tried many different conversions. I bring them into FCE HD 3.5.1. The video pane plays the file, but when I drag & drop the file into the "Sequence 1" pane they either play the video with no sound, don't show the video at all, show as "undrendered". I am working from .vob files that are recorded at church, from the preacher and I am volunteering to post these online through Vimeo, but I can't seem to get them to work in FCE. I have never used FCE before, but know that I can learn new things. I just can't seem to figure out what settings it is to use to get them in. They are also wanting me to add the preaching points as the preaching happens via text on the screen and it seems like that can be done in FCE. I really need help. Thank you for reading this and posting anything back. I have read post after post in different areas and have tried so much, but keep running into a brick wall on my end.

    Thank you so much. You are such a big help. I kept trying to figure out where I knew your name from and it is from some of your help FCE videos I watched on youtube. Wow, you are such a help.
    I am converting it now under those settings you gave to me. Although, I couldn't find where the 29.97 was so I typed it in and assume that was right.
    I have been working on this since last Monday on and off. I bet I have put in more than 20 hours and still without success. Your help really means a lot to me.
    I am use to imovie and just dropping in there and working from there. FCE is so intense for me. I really don't understand "sequence" either.
    I have 2 .vob files that I need to convert and bring in to merge together to play as one piece. Is that why there is a "sequence" 1 or 2, etc. or is it like imovie and will all drop into the same timeline and work from there? I have to delete the first 20 seconds of video too and can easily do that in imovie is it easy in FCE too? Then I want to go and add the text to it as he is preaching to give the Scripture reference and points as he preaches. I have read so many places to do that in Photoshop and save as a .psd and bring it into FCE. Is that true or would it be easier to try to learn it in FCE? Thank you!

  • Newbie to Ipad-can the keyboard keys be set in sequence as typewriter?

    Wondering if the keyboard can be changed to same sequence as a typewriter.

    Along the same lines (sort of..) can any of the functions on the keyboard be altered? I often find the need, for example, to insert a number in an alpha address, or use a dash somewhere. This requires that I leave the main, alphabet keyboard, jump to the numbers board, then back to the alphabet one. I presume there's no way you can drag & drop from one keyboard to another- even on a temporary basis?

  • Setting up a sequence - newbie

    I am new to oracle and using 9i, how does one set up a sequence for a column using the windows interface?
    Thanks

    To use GUI tool you will need to install OEM that comes with the server release.

  • I can no longer encode a sequence in PP CC after the Dec 2013 update

    II have had to shut down and restart PP CC about 5 times when just creating a very simple sequence of clips from a family get together for Thanskgiving.  I had to shut down since everything just quite responding.  Fortunately, when I reopened the project, I could resume.   I finally got my sequence created, but, now I can't export the sequence.  The encode has failed 8 times in a row.  I've tried direct export, and exporting to the AME queue.  Sometimes I get the error sound and the absolutely useless error message "Error compiling movie.  Unknown Error." Other times it just stops making any progress in the encode with no message at all, but there are zero CPU cycles being consumed by PP or AME.  It just plain stops, wiht no eror message.  That happened 3 times when used the Media Queue approach, and in the preview window in AME, it just stopped encoding at very different places in the sequence.
    It appears as though I can no longer encode a movie.  And I'm paying big bucks for this every month?  What a sap.
    I'm glad I'm not a Pro, whose income and life depends on these tools!  But, I have a full time job, and only a very small amount of free time.  I do not want to spend my small amount of free time as an Adobe Beta Tester.  I've been using Adobe tools for years, which is why I signed up for CC, but...at this point: I can't even encode a simple sequence!
    I can't express my disappointment.  I wanted to be loading the encoded MP4 onto VIMEO for my friends and family to see by now, but.....I can't even encode a very simple sequence.  And, I not a newbie.  I have hundreds of videos on VIMEO, and many more on Youtube and Smugmug.  Every one was produced with Adobe PP (from v4 on).
    But now:  I'm dead in the water.
    I gurantee you that i will not 're-up' when my CC subscription expires, and, I guess right now, I have to start from scratch with my raw clips and find some other tools to use?  I wish all my expensive plug-ins (like MB Suite) would work in whatever the tools I will move to...but...I guess I'll just have to write them off as a loss, just like the next 8 months of paying for my Adobe CC Software that no longer works.
    I wish there was a way I could take the Thanksgiving Project and its sequences I've created in PP CC and convert the Project to PP 6.0, since I never had  any issues with it PP v6.0.
    But, from what I understand, if you make a project in PP CC, you are lost.  You can't go backwards.
    And, you know what?  I'm done.  I quit.  I won't even try starting over in PP 6.0.  I'm going to find some other tools.  I know they won;t be as full-featured as Adobe's, but...I'm not a pro.  I just need something that works reliably.
    Disgusted beyond words.
    John
    Win 7 Pro
    24 GB Ram
    NVidia GTX 470
    PS:  So, does Adobe have any kind of disaster recovery plan when an update like this fails?  Can you please send out a "new update" that rolls me back to the prior version on PP CC?

    OK.  I have successfully encoded this very simple sequence, but, I *can't* get it to encode using my "standard" custom H.264 preset that I have been using for years.
    But, I was not able to encode in many plain vanilla codecs either, but, I got a notice that there was a CC update for AE, so I took the time to install those updates, and, as I always do, I re-booted after the update of AE.
    But, of course I had re-booted a couple times last night when I couldn't get the sequence to encode.  That's somethinf I always try b4 writing to a form.
    So, here's the sequecne of events this morning:
    1)  Try to encode sequecne to uncompressed AVI (Cineform AVI 1920x1080).  It SUCCEEDED.  But, even though the AVI was large > 3.6 GB the quality was horrible, I did not pay much attention to the quality settings.
    2)  Try to encode to Quicktime H.264 codec.  FAILED.
    3)  Try to encode to Quicktime Codec=Uncompressed 4:2:2.  FAILED
    4)  CC UPdate notice for AE CC and AE 6.0
    5)  Perform update
    6)  Reboot
    7)  Try to encode to Quicktime Codec=Uncompressed 4:2:2.  SUCCEEDED - but ENORMOUS FILE SIZE *very nice quality though*  :-)
    8)  Try to encode to Quicktime Codec=H.264.  SUCCEEDED.
    9)  Try to encode to my 'usual' H.264 Preset FAILED, just hung up during the 2nd of two passes.  My preset is a VBR with 2 passes, see bitmap below. In this particular case it got 'hung' at this frame.  But, It never 'hangs' in the same place?
    So, I don't know why I was able to encode the sequence using the Quicktime Wrapper and botn Uncompressed and H2.264 Codecs after updating AE CC and rebooting, but not before.  Surely there is no interaction between AE and AME?
    But, the re-boot should not have caused it alone, since I had rebooted several times last night, and I've installed nothing but the new update for AE since last night?
    So, I guess I'm OK now.  Please excuse my tone last night, I was very frustrtated.
    It is interesting that I still can't encode this particluar sequence using my "standard" H.264 preset.
    And, BTW Jim:  What I mentioned in my previus post was not that I had brought and old PP 6.0 sequecne into CC and encoded it successfully, but that I just re-encoded one of my most complex sequences AGAIN in PP 6.0, just to wanted to make sure nothing was haywire with "good old" PP 6.0.
    But, I did just re-encode a sequence from PP CC from before the Dec 13 update using my "standard" H.264 preset, and...yes...it DID encode.
    SOOOOO...Jim, you were correct.  My inability to encode was not due to the DEC 13 PP CC update, but something very peculiar about this one sequence.  But, it is a very simple sequence.  The only effects applied is some light color grading using MB Colorista, and Warp Stabilizer to a stabilize a few hand held shots.  No other effects.  And...the encode that fails using my standard preset, never fails at the same frame.
    But...at this point I'm OK.  Instead of an encoded file in MP4 I have an ecnoded H.264 rendition in the QuickTime MOV wrapper.  At least I've got that sequence done and can move on to the ton of others I need to get to (without having to learn an entirely new tool).  :-)

  • Flash CC Publish Animated Gif ignores looping sequences?

    I'm just learning Flash so apologies in advance.
    I can't seem to get an animated gif that won't loop--I only want it to play once.
    Here is what I'm doing, using Flash CC Pro (latest):
    Create an .fla file, all set to go, looks good
    Go to Publish Settings, target is set to Flash Player 11.8, unchecked everything but GIF Image
    Inside there, playback is set to "animated"
    Repeat times, set to 1
    Smooth is checked.
    Have tried adding an action script to one layer after researching that trick, doesn't seem to work. Animation does have symbols as movie clips inside it.
    Any help is appreciated for this newbie, thanks!

    One thing you may want to look at is the way your symbols are being triggered on the timeline. For example: you have an image of a ball bouncing, it goes down then up over the course of 30 frames and you are playing the FLA at 15 FPS so it takes a full two seconds per "bounce". If you are then putting that symbol into another timeline (probably the main timeline) you need to give the instance of that symbol the full 30 frames to go through the bounce before it stops, but if you give it 31 frames or forget to put a stop() command on the last frame, the sequence will repeat before clearing the stage.
    I would look at how you have positioned the object that is being looped in the main timeline and remember that with each keyframe you add to the timeline the animation will restart from the beginning. Imagine the bouncing ball graphic is a video clip of a ball bouncing and not a collection of vectors being repositioned on the stage. Every time you have a keyframe on the symbol of the video on the main timeline, the video restarts and appears to loop. The same may be happening with your animation on the timeline.
    Hope this helps.

  • What The Heck Is A Sequence?

    I've recently graduated from Premiere Elements to Premiere Pro. Congratulations to me!!
    To get up to speed, I've been watching quite a few videos and reading books, and one thing that keeps popping up is the concept of "sequences". But everybody just seems to assume you know what a sequence is.
    I don't. From what I can gather, a sequence just seems to be a bunch of clips grouped together? But I'm not even sure about that concept.
    What I'm really not sure of is what they are useful for. For example, when would I use a sequence versus just a regular old clip? If I put a sequence on the timeline, and then change the sequence, is that change automatically reflected on the timeline? Does everybody just usually use clips, or do sequences offer some advantages?
    Also, I'm not sure if this is a related question or not, but Pro also appears to have multiple timelines. Elements only has one, so I'm not sure how multiple timelines would be used and if that has something to do with sequences.
    Sorry if this are newbie questions!

    A sequence is something that exists within a project, it's a "timeline with layers" - the same as you'd have in Flash.
    Think of it this way, let's suppose you're creating a series of TV ads for a client. They want five ads, each with variations on the content.
    The whole thing would go in one project, purely so you can keep track of things.
    All your footage, titles, graphical overlays etc are items in the project bin.
    You'd create five sequences in the project, one per ad. The settings for a sequence decide the final output, so it's the sequence that decides things like the frame dimensions and frame rate. Whatever you put on the sequence is transcoded to fit those settings, so if your sequence is set to 24fps and you drop on some 60fps video, it'll be resampled to 24. The only thing that isn't dome automatically is resizing.
    On each sequence you'd assemble sections of your raw footage - these sections are 'clips' as in the old days of film you were clipping out a section of film from a larger reel. In Premiere you select the clip from the footage item by opening it in the source monitor and setting in/out points, or by dropping the entire thing onto the timeline and trimming it.
    Sequences by default have one video track, but you can add more - that's how you layer things on top of each other, such as putting a lower third graphic over your video. If there's a gap in a layer, whatever's below it shows through (if there's nothing on any layer you'll render black).
    If you had a series of clips which were common to every ad (such as the final message) you can create that as a separate sequence and place the sequence inside the others. Premiere is happy to treat a sequence the same as a regular chunk of video, so you can cut out sections and reuse them. This is called 'nesting' and when the master sequence is edited, all the reused copies reflect that change.
    You would then export each sequence  to make the final collection of videos.
    You can import a copy of a sequence from one project into another by running the import command on your new project and selecting the old the project file (.prproj) - Premiere will list everything in the file and you can pick what to import. The source clips will import automatically when you import a sequence. Remember that nothing is embedded in the project file, all the source footage is read from the original media - so copying a sequence doesn't copy the video itself.

  • JDeveloper 10g Creating a new record with trigger sequence primary key

    Hi there, I'm sorry to post this incredibly simple question and I'm sure that someone must have answered this on this forum before but the searching of this site is incredible slow and painful and after 30 mins I can't find help.
    I am using a struts Data Action to create a new record in the database and then being forwarded to an edit page where I can enter the new details. Then when the details are entered I am clicking an update button and returning to a browse screen where I can either commit the change to the database or rollback. Sounds pretty simple but I am really struggling with trying to get the trigger of the number sequence to work properly.
    Ideally I would like to click the create new record button and then the primary key/triggered sequence number is already displayed on the empty form...
    ... but if this is too tricky or not possible then I would like the user to either not enter any value in the key field (which currently causes error - JBO-27014: Attribute PoNo in PO_SYS_MODULE.PoSystemView1 is required) OR the user enters a number and the trigger overwrites this number with the next in the sequence.
    I can enter a new record if I look in the manager console and see the next number in the sequence and then create the record using this number and then click commit twice, as the first time I get the error: JBO-25019: Entity row of key oracle.jbo.Key[154 ] not found in PoSystem. Or if I enter a value 5 times greater than the next in the sequence I have to click the commit button 5 extra times to get the sequence to match the input.
    I hope that this lengthy explanation fills you in on my problem, there must be a simple solution to this and I will be VERY grateful to anyone who can help me.
    Many thanks
    Ben Sayers (clearly a newbie)

    Hi,
    ADF Business Components handles this for you - unless yo prefer doing this manually. In the Entity Object, set the PK attribute's type to DBSequence. Then create a database sequence and use a database trigger to add the sequence value on insert

  • Newbie mistake, but I can't find it, help appreciated on XML import

    I'm sure I'm making a newbie mistake but I can't find it. If someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate it.
    Step one works (i'm logged as user xdb on the database):

    Step four is where I have problems. I'm using Windows Explorer to drag and drop an XML instance document into http://d01db:8085/datamart/CustomerCare/xml while logged into the repository as xdb.
    Here's some of the test file that I'm using.
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="no"?>
    <StetonAuditResults xmlns:xdb="http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/Steton.xsd">
         <Control>
              <ResultCount>112</ResultCount>
         </Control>
    </StetonAuditResults>
    Note, the test XML file is 427k in size and I can't post it here. There is a lot of data between the </Control> tag and the </StetonAuditResults> tag.
    During the Drag and Drop I get the message "An error occured copying some or all of the selected files."
    My first suspicision was that the XML document failed validation. So I changed the namespace line to
    <StetonAuditResults xmlns:xdb="http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="H:\StetonCustomerCare\Steton.xsd">
    I then started Altova's XMLSpy and the XML document is well formed and it validates.
    I then changed the namespace line in the XML document to
    <StetonAuditResults xmlns:xdb="http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    and I could use Windows Explorer to drag and drop the file into the XML DB respository of http://d01db:8085/datamart/CustomerCare/xml, but this version doesn't shred the XML document into the SQL tables that I need.
    I then deleted the file from the repository.
    I then changed the namespace line in the XML document to <StetonAuditResults xmlns:xdb="http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="Steton.xsd">
    because someone told me to, and because I have seen an FAQ in this forum suggest this approach. I can copy using Windows Explorer into the http://d01db:8085/datamart/CustomerCare/xml. However, the file size via Windows Explorer is 427kb. Also "select count(*) from STETONAUDITRESULTS;" returns zero.
    What am I doing wrong?
    My background, I'm not an Oracle DBA, but I can code SQL select statements. So if I need to do something involving Oracle DBA privileges, please document it well. I will have to get the DBA's involved.
    My goal is import this XML file so that I can use it as a feed for a datamart. The first XML file in text format is 27mb.
    Thanks again for reading this far.

    I guess you have a namespace issue...(schema registered is not the same as the layout in your XML instance/doc, therefor will not be inserted). You have access to the XDB account...thats all you need (more then enough, i mean, you don't need dba privs).
    on the FAQ Mark explains...
    Why is the size of my XML document 0 bytes when viewed via HTTP or FTP ?
    Posted: Sep 1, 2006 6:07 AM in response to: mdrake in response to: mdrake
    When a schema based XML is loaded into the XML DB repository via HTTP, FTP or dbms_xdb.createResource() the document is converted from a textual serialization of XML into a series of objects. At this point the size of the document becomes (a) meaningless and (b) difficult / expensive to calculate.
    The first question is what is meant by the size of the document once it has been stored using object-based persistence ? There are two possibilities
    (1) The number of bytes used the text serialization of the XML document.
    (2) The number of bytes required to store the internal object representation of the document. In this case the does the size include the bytes used for keys, refs indexes, etc ?
    Since (1) would be expensive to maintain as the document is updated (particularly in the case of partial updates) and (2) is expensive to calculate on a document by document basis, XML DB shows the size of all schema based XML documents as 'zero' bytes.
    Note that this also applies to the size of the registered version of XML Schema documents, which can be found in the folder tree /sys/schemas.
    If a schema based XML document is loaded into the repository and does not appear as 0 bytes long when viewed via HTTP or WebDAV this means that XML DB was unable to identifiy the XML schema the XML document is associated with.
    Note that immediatlely after uploading a document in Windows Explorer using the WebDAV protocol the size of the document will be non-zero, since the original size is cached by the Microsoft WebDAV client. However once a refresh of the folder is performed in Windows Explorer the size should be shown as zero if the document was recognized as a schema based document.

  • Displaying custom node group sequences (and their creation)

    Hi,
    firstly my usual disclaimer :) I am a newbie at JavaFX and only jump back in when I have a little time here and there.
    What I'm trying to achieve, is to create an Object call MyItem which is essentially a Group with a rectangle, image and text. I want to be able to create multiple of these MyItem's and add them to a sequence (list, array).
    Then do a foreach item MyItems --> insert into myGroup.content[];
    But it keeps saying that either a Node or a Sequence is not what it's looking for...
    See below which should be able to describe the problem better than my confusing explanation above:
    Main.fx
    package exampleitems;
    import javafx.stage.Stage;
    import javafx.scene.Scene;
    import javafx.scene.paint.LinearGradient;
    import javafx.scene.paint.Stop;
    import javafx.scene.paint.Color;
    import javafx.scene.Node;
    public var stg = Stage {
                title: "TestApp"
                scene: Scene {
                   fill: LinearGradient {
                      startX: 0.0
                      startY: 0.0
                      endX: 0.0
                      endY: 1.0
                      stops: [
                         Stop {
                            color: Color.web("#0c8ec4") //Color.BLACK
                            offset: 0.0
                         Stop {
                            color: Color.web("#0a1945") //Color.GRAY
                            offset: 1.0
                   width: 800
                   height: 600
                   content: []
                resizable: false
    var man=Manager{};
    public function insertThem(){
       var myItemsHere = man.getItems();
       for(node in myItemsHere){
          insert node as Node into Main.stg.scene.content;
    function run(){
       stg;
       insertThem();
    }Manager.fx
    package exampleitems;
    public class Manager {
       var itemsListHolderAA=AAItems{};
       package function getItems(){
          return itemsListHolderAA.getItems();
    }AAItems.fx
    package exampleitems;
    public class AAItems {
       var icon="{__DIR__}images/AA.png";
       package function getItems() {
          var i = 1;
          var myItems=[];
          //while(i < 10){
             insert Items{xPos: 20*i, yPos: 20*i, iconItem: icon} into myItems;
             //i++;
          return myItems;
    }Items.fx
    package exampleitems;
    import javafx.scene.shape.Rectangle;
    import javafx.scene.paint.Color;
    import javafx.scene.CustomNode;
    import javafx.scene.Node;
    import javafx.scene.image.ImageView;
    import javafx.scene.image.Image;
    import javafx.scene.text.Text;
    import javafx.scene.text.Font;
    public class Items extends CustomNode{
       public var xPos: Integer;
       public var yPos: Integer;
       public var iconItem: String;
       override protected function create () : Node {
          Rectangle {
             width: (750), height: (470/20)
             fill: Color.TRANSPARENT
             stroke: Color.web("#0c8ec4") //Color.TEAL
             strokeWidth: 1.0
             arcWidth: 20
             arcHeight: 20
             smooth: true
          ImageView {
             translateX: 2, translateY: 1
             image: Image {
                url: iconItem
             fitWidth: (470/20)
             fitHeight: (470/20)
          Text {
             translateX: ((470/20)+5)
             translateY: ((470/20)*0.666)
             font : Font {
                size: 10
             content: "Hello!"
    }As you can see, my main problem seems to be that the last Node in Items.fx gets displayed, and not all three (try commenting out Text node and image appears etc...)
    So, either I get the Items.fx to return as a Group (?), but then I get the error that it expects a sequence etc.
    So how can I get the myItems[] in AAItems.fx to fill up with a "group" of nodes and then be able to iterate through them on the Main.fx ?
    I hope that's clear? :/
    What I want is a list of Items(.fx) created in AAItems(.fx) and be able to then display (iterate through) them in Main(.fx).
    I'm sure it's a concept flaw on my part on how to implement it. Any help appreciated.

    Oops. I guess not "exactly" what I wanted:
    The Stack container arranges its managed content nodes in a back-to-front Stack. The z-order of the content is defined by the order of the content sequence with content[0] being the bottom and content[sizeof content-1] being the top...
    D'Oh! Just replacing Stack with Group does the job... man... I need a holiday!!! :D

  • Playing multiple videos in sequence

    Hello all. I'm a complete newbie to Flash development, but
    have been thrown into it with not just a deadline, but a (to me)
    "complex" project. I have a Flash project which currently opens and
    plays a video as part of whats on "the stage". I now need to add 2
    more videos which will play, in sequence, after the first one
    finishes. I've gone through the tutorials, read the help files, and
    now I'm just feeling a bit "DUH" because I still can't figure out
    how to do this. Anybody out there care to help a poor ol' graphics
    guy avoid the bitter wrath of his boss?

    A single instance of FLVPlayback can handle multiple videos.
    I can't remember what the upper limit is. So you can switch between
    them based on user input. But I believe it can only ever play one
    at any one time. I've used FLVPlayback quite a lot but not for what
    you're describing, so can't answer from direct experience.
    Check out this page, and the trivial example at the end
    (whether its streaming or progressive is irrelevant here, streaming
    should work just as well, but perhaps you need to use SMIL files
    for the streaming contentPath?)

  • XSLT-problem with sequence attributes

    Hi,
    in my XSLT-program (i'm a real newbie!) i'm adding dynamically attributes and their values to a tag, by using the following code :
    <SUPPLIER>
      <xsl:attribute name="FUNLOC">
        <xsl:value-of select="SUPPLIER_FUNLOC" />
      </xsl:attribute>
      <xsl:attribute name="NAME">
        <xsl:value-of select="SUPPLIER_NAME" />
      </xsl:attribute>
      <xsl:attribute name="LOCATION">
        <xsl:value-of select="SUPPLIER_LOCATION" />
      </xsl:attribute>
      </SUPPLIER>
    The problem is that the attributes in the resulting xml-file are alphabetically ordered. For instance :
    <SUPPLIER FUNLOC="9522222" LOCATION="NL" NAME="Test vendor VMOI">
    How can i arrange that the result of the xml-file is a sequence of entrance is taken, so
    <SUPPLIER FUNLOC="9522222" NAME="Test vendor VMOI" LOCATION="NL" >

    Hi Hans,
    I think you're using ABAP-XSLT?!
    If you do so, you can solve the sorting problem by using a 1:1 Message mapping after the ABAP-XSLT mapping. This resolves the problem that the nodes are not in the correct order.
    In your interface mapping you have to configure 2 mappings:
    1: ABAP-XSLT
    2: Message mapping.
    Of course this means that the total processing time increases a little bit.
    I had the same problem with the sequence of my (ACC_DOCUMENT) idoc nodes, the ABAP-XSLT screwed up the idoc, but the 1:1 message mapping solved the problem.

    Mark

  • Simple viewer won't export comments and the sequence is wrong

    I am stuck....
    I have added simple viewer on my site, but the comments of every photo are not there.
    - In iphoto i have added the comments with every photo.
    - With iphoto export, i made the simple viewer file. Everything works fine accept from the comments they are just not exported.
    - Also the sequence of the photo's are different in the simple viewer. It seems like the photo's are displayed (or exported) at random.
    Has anyone an idea how I can find a workaround and to get these two issue's solved?

    Hi Dhara,
    I've been working with Simple Viewer for a couple of weeks now (you can catch my posting and all the replies on the Boards).
    Regarding your issues, my recollections are as follows....but, remember I'm a novice and not an expert on this:
    1. Comments: Make sure that you check 'Use Comments' in iPhoto Export.
    2. Sequence of Photos: I had the same problem with this. I went back to my iPhoto folder and actually changed the file names to 1.jpg, 2.jpg, etc. Then, in iPhoto, I sorted the photos: View, Sort Photos, By Title. I had to move a few manually in the iPhoto display, as numerically sorted some fall out of 'order'. After saving this folder, run iPhoto Export and proceed as you did before.
    Again, I am a newbie...so maybe see if some of the 'gurus' on the Boards post a fix as well. And, let me know if this works!
    Good luck
