Newest Flash and Photoshop Updates Nixed my Tablet

This isn't the first time updating an adobe product has forced me to wipe my HDD and start from scratch.
Everything was working perfectly until I updated to the latest versions... Now I can't get either of them to even open. Flash at least opens, but as soon as I try and get to a workspace, it freezes up and turns white. PS crashes while loading.
Now, I've been doing a combination of uninstalling and re-installing my drivers and PS and Flash, but to no avail. When I try to run either program when my tablet drivers are uninstalled, they work perfectly (minus, you know, the tablet part). As soon as I re-install them (and restart) everything gets broken again.
Some of my specs:
Windows 7
16gb RAM
3.30 Ghz
NVIDIA video card (not sure which one, but it's not old)
Dual Screen setup
Tablet:
Yiynova MSP 19U+
Again, I've tried everything short of wiping my entire system, which I had to do last time these things updated. It fixed the problem, so I'm really hoping there is some other way to deal with this that's not such an inconvenience. Please, help!
I should also mention that these drivers and known to be finicky, and I've defiantly gotten the "straight lines" bug before.

Camera raw 8.6 update fail and photoshop update

i update my photoshop and camera raw but both of them prompts failure and i cannot open my sony a7s raw to edit... is there someone encountered the same? i'm using windows 7...

1.— That just means your install is messed up. It works on any properly maintained system I've tried so far. Is Photoshop updated to CS6 13.0.6?

3.— You are wrong. Adobe doesn't care much about any of their customers, whether subscribed to the Cash Cow or not.
4.— You are not addressing Adobe in these user forums, so drop that attitude. Your troubles are caused by user error and inexperience.

Buying a new imac - Flash and Photoshop

I'm getting ready to buy a mac. I use it for on the side freelance, mainly using Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I can't decide whether I want to get a 20" PowerPC imac, a 20" intel imac or just suck it up and get a G5 tower, along with a flatscreen. Currenly I use an old G4 (400 megaherts, 1 GB of RAM.
Basically, I'd like to know how much faster a tower is to the imacs, and how well I can use Flash with Rosetta. I'd like to have really good performance, but don't really want to drop $3,000 on the tower/monitor, and am hoping that the powerPC imac has good performance on these applications.
So, these are my options:
-PowerPC G5 Tower, 2 GB RAM, 256 graphics card
-PowerPC iMAC, 1.5 GB RAM
-Intel iMAC, 2GB RAM, 256 graphics card

Photoshop CS runs faster on the imac
Flash 8 Pro is way faster and more responsive on the
imac
Dreamweaver 8 runs about the same on the
imac

you are running Photoshop and Flash in emulation mode, right? and its way faster than your powerbook? is it stable?

Image width difference from flash and photoshop while rotating

     ->     I have loaded a image in the flash and a copy of a image in photoshop.
     ->     Then i have checked the width of a image in both the application and they look same.
     ->     In flash window>transform>angle i have given angle 0.7
     ->     In photoshop Image>Image Rotation> Arbitary i have given angle 0.7
     ->     I have checked width of a image in both the application and they are not same.
     Couldn't able to figure it out the reason for the change. Could any one assist me for the same to acheive the same.

Something like 0.7 won't really show up very well for an example so here's PS CC and Flash CC rotating (approx) 200x200 px red square 20 degrees. They look pretty exact to me (although drawing and placement was done by hand so the slight difference in position is me). Rotation looks good.
Here's what I get from measuring width (but of course the width is of the rotated object), 256px or so on both:
For hand drawn 200px squares (one is 199.2px, etc) that's showing you it's pretty exact.
Mind you if you do a Image Rotation (I did a transform) then it will rotate in Photoshop via a different point. The rotation of the object itself looks the same (and the width is 257) but it's just positioned differently.
Your results should be similar.

Flash and shockwave updates

Both adobe products versions on my older computer have not been updated for 1 year or more. Current flash update would not install, should I be installing every update in order since ver 10.3.183.7 and ver. 11.5.9.620? Thanks.

CS5 Flash and Photoshop painfully slow

I recently moved from CS4 Master Suite to CS5 Master Suite. I work with all files on a home based network drive. The CS4 handled most all tasks easily. The CS5 is painfully slow.
Publish Previewing a very small Flash file with no action script and 3 button rollovers takes 3-6 minutes to view. Opening a 1100x730px jpg in Photoshop takes 1-2 minutes and saving it is almost as slow. Ironically, Fireworks opens the same jpg in half the time.
About my set up: the network drive and a desktop PC are plugged into a Linksys G wireless router. The desktop has the same problems as both laptops in really slow Adobe tasks. None of my other programs struggle with network tasks and the CS4 Master Suite handled it fine.
Any clue why CS5 Master Collection would perform basic tasks so much slower than CS4 Master Collection using the same network?

I guess your project is quite complex (filesize for starters, maybe complex vector artwork, lots of keyframes etc.). When you save your project, Flash has to process all the objects and do the actual writing to the disc. What you can do, is break the document into smaller, separate *.fla files. You can export them as *.swf and load them at runtime or export them as *.swc libraries and include them at compile time.

Text disappear after flash and windows update

Hi,
I'm living a strange exprerience from the last windows software update (after i update even flash, to ensure that there was not a compatibility problem) , i can't display some fonts if I choose the option "anti-alias for reliability" , for example for the joeHand 2 , but the text came out again if I choose "bitmap" or "use device fonts" as display option.
This seams a problem with this particular font, but appears only after an automatic windows update, and is not valid for every font.
Someone resolve/had a similar problem?

Firefox 14 crashes after adobe flash and firefox update

only new events, firefox updated from 11 to 14 and flash updated.
first firefox crashed then had to reboot and it asked me if i was ok with deleting data, i did delete all except bookmarks. next time i got this message, didnt work. now when i try to open it it says this

I already did a clean install removing the mozilla folder entirely and I believe all the settings (since i asked for this during reinstall). still cannot open firefox.

When can I actually use my updated subscription to Flash CC and Photoshop CC? I've waited at least three hours.

The Flash plug-in causes Firefox to crash for about 2 minutes every 20 seconds, it is the newest Flash update. It has happened to me both with Firefox 3.6 and 4!

Firefox for me has been fine for the past couple of years or so. Then all of a sudden about 5 months ago, everytime i would use Firefox it would crash after browsing for about 1 minute. I uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times to no avail. I then got sick of the problem and then used IE till now.
However, i heard about Firefox 4 and thought maybe this would fix it. Unfortunately, the same problem occurred! I then heard about being able to start Firefox with add-ons disabled to find any sources of problems, and i've found that the cause if Flash! It is the newest version and always has been, so i don't know what i can do, since Flash is important for most websites nowadays!?

Could you please do the following.
Download the following two files and save to your desktop. These are direct download links so you'll only see the dialog boxes which looks like the ones you see in the screenshot.

Since I updated Flash my Photoshop is producing weird shearing artifacts in the edges of my digital paintings. Help?

Technical problem: So, I updated my Flash and since then Photoshop has been doing this awful shearing thing with all my edges. On the left is how the JPEG actually looks, whereas the right is what I'm seeing while I work.
I tried re-installing Flash and even system restoring to 24 hours ago, and nothing has worked.

Photoshop updated and now I have two versions ...

Hello,
I'm new to photoshop and creative cloud. I purchased photoshop cc a few weeks ago. It then updated and I now have two versions: photoshop cc and photoshop cc (2014). they both keep updating, I presume for good reason, but I'm not sure why I have two versions.
Do I need both? if not, which is the version I should have? and how to I get rid of the other?

Photoshop CC 2014 is the "newer" one, several features that are valuable to some users have been abandoned in this version (Flash Panels, Oilpaint Filter, …), though.

You can just keep both versions, but as a relative newcomer you might be better off going with Photoshop CC 2014.
