Newest version for the Garageband Jam Packs available for the Intel-based Macs?

Hey guys, I just want to know if there will be the newest version for Garageband Jam Packs to be released for the Mac OS X Lion as an Intel program? Let me know when will it be if so? If not, please let me know the reason why or why not?

Anything could happen, including a new JamPack series, but it appears as if at least for now, the JamPacks have been discontinued.
There were some lingering installation problems, but more than that, Apple is generally moving to online software distribution and away from boxed sets.
If you google them, you can still find boxed sets for sale, and perhaps one day there will be an online version.

I have a new mac book pro. Will my old jam packs work with the new garageband?

I have same problem, been using a macbook 13" for nearly 9 years but it was failing so I bought a macbook pro 15" and after having problems and error messages when trying to download loops ( I finally went to the App Store and opened garageband from there which install some loops), it finally downloaded some but not all the loops that my jam packs had, also I have tons of non-apple loops that I purchased over the years but I want to know if they will work on my new mac ?

  • New version of the HBM_MGCCP42 DataPlugin is available for download.

A new version of the HBM_MGCCP42 DataPlugin is available for download.
The HBM_MGCCP42 DataPlugin supports HBM MGCPlus CP42 binary measurement files.
The new version corrects an offset problem which occurred in some cases when reading HBM MGCPlus CP42 binary measurement files.
A list of all DataPlugin for file access with DIAdem, LabVIEW, DataFinder and LabVIEW DataFinder Toolkit can be found at ni.com/dataplugins.

Try updating to iTunes 11.1.5.5, using an installer downloaded from the Apple website:

  • Where is the GarageBand Jam Session Button?

Hi, I am having trouble looking for the GarageBand Jam Session button and I just downloaded mine yesterday. The version I have is 1.2 and also have the newest iPad.

You will need a USB device to which you can connect an input cable. If your cable uses a 3.5 mm mini-plug, then you can try using a device such as the Griffin iMic or any similar USB sound card that has both input and output jacks, connects to USB, and conforms to standard USB protocols not requiring any special drivers to work on a Mac.
Here'sone other such candidate. Google searching will likely find you many others.

  • Can I use my old Garageband Jam Packs with Logic Pro X?

I'm in the process of moving all of my Logic X Library content to an external hard drive and it occurred to me that I still have 4 GarageBand Jam Packs that I might be able to use in Logic X. Does anyone know if there is any real difference in the loop content of the Jam Packs and the loops that are on Logic X ? Has anyone tried this and made any kind of comparison? Just wondering. Thanks.

When you download all the additional content from within Logic Pro X.. any jam packs you are missing are then installed during that process... but if you already have them all installed the LPX additional content installer will find them and set them up for use in LPX.
The content of the Jam packs are identical....

Your MacBook Air is an Intel-based system. To download the current version (11.2.202.228),  go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download it from there.
If there is still a Flash issue, you can try the Google Chrome browser, which has the current Flash built into it, to see if it works any differently with the videos. It's available from https://www.google.com/chrome

  • What are the third party tools available for Encryption in Oracle database?

    Dear All,
Can you please help me with the below question?
What are the third party tools available for Encryption in Oracle database? Please let me know if you know their feedback and also licensing/cost information

Why would you spend money to purchase a third-party tool that will be, almost by definition, less secure than the tools inside the product you already own and paid for?

But were I to have any to recommend one I would not do so without knowing information you seem to consider unimportant such as:
    1. Operating system
    2. Database edition and version
    3. What type of data needs to be secured
    4. What level of security is required

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
The iPhone 5c needs iTunes 11.1, which requires Mac OS X 10.6.8. See if your Mac can be upgraded to Mac OS X Snow Leopard > http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 If so, buy Mac OS X Snow Leopard > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
Then, make a backup of your data with Time Machine or Disk Utility's Restore, insert the disc and follow its steps to upgrade to Mac OS X Snow Leopard. You shouldn't lose compatibility with any application. After upgrading, open  > Software Update, and install the latest version. It will install iTunes 11.1, so you will be able to sync the iPhone 5c with your Mac

  • Is there service pack available for weblogic 5.1 to work with JDK 1.4 for NT Environment

Is there service pack available for weblogic 5.1 to work with JDK 1.4 for NT Environment

    Hi.
This is definitely not supported, and I don't know that any work is scheduled in the future
to support this JDK on WLS 5.1.
Having said that, I was able to start WLS 5.1sp12 with JDK 1.4 with no errors. I didn't
    exercise any features, however.

No, there is not something available for Lync. What's available can be found here (and it's all not recent):

  • Need Help controlling Garageband Jam Pack File Sizes

I recently purchased all of the Jam Packs, and would love to make use of them with both Garageband and Logic Pro. The problem is the HUGE amount of space HD space they demand. I've researched these forums, and read about the plan of installing the Jam Packs, moving the Apple Loops to an External HD, and then cleaning out the Apple Loops Library & Index files on my main HD. The problem is, once I did this (testing it with just the World Jam Pack), I STILL lost over 10 GB's of HD space, compared to what I had before the initial Jam Pack instillation! What's taken up all of this space, and how do I get my space back? CAN I put the Jam Packs on an external drive, or not? Thanks in advance!

I don't think there's 10 gig worth, but the Jam Packs install instruments as well. Leave those where they are.

  • Why can't I browse jam packs right off the DVD?

I'm trying to use my jam pack DVD's without taking up space on my hard drive. There must be a way to browse jam packs straight off the DVD without installing them. How can I do this?

You'll probably need to show invisible files in the Finder. Try this, for instance:

  • Solo Strings Software for MIDI controllers & JAM PACKS

    Hi,
Anyone have suggestions on software that contain solo strings for MIDI software? I have been told that the Apple Jam Packs do not have these.
    Thanks

Try the Boldt 24-pack. Or if you really want to go big, the Garritan orchestra suites.

  • How do I uninstall garageband jam packs on mac os x lion?

Is a way on how to uninstall all garageband jam packs on mac os x lion that I don't want?

Go to HD/Library/Audio/Apple-Loops and delete the corresponding loops folders - that is the bulk of the disk space that the Jam Packs are using. The loops will still show up in GB - if you want to get rid of them, also trash all the Index files and re-index your loops by dragging the remaining loops folder onto GB's Loops Browser.
