Newie-tried all of the advice I have been given!!! please help!

I got a shiffle for my daughter, initial problems then worked fine. Then it just wasn't recognised by the pc as an ipod - don't know what i did but it started working fine. Got my hubby a nano 4 crimbo and get wizard to install drivers/softwaree everytime w elog in. Removed programmes, like before, updated drivers - re-installed itunes and still get the *** wizard. According to what I have read drivers shouldn't need to be installed when you have latest itunes. I'm no techie (as u may gather) and have nothing exciting on my pc!!!! It is recognised as an ipod by windows then goes straight to the wizard. Like I say have had problems b4 but have had them sorted and one shuffle was for my dad whilst in intensive care so memory a bit hazy of that time. Any help (pls pls) much appreciated!!!!!

A bolloon pops up says ' New hardwre-ipod' then a found new hadware wizard pos up trying to get me to install software with a choice of automatically or from a specific location. It all goes pear shaped from there.................

Hello I am having problems viewing areas of a pdf...it's a form fillable pdf that someone else has completed and saved..I'm able to view all but the areas that have been filled in.. any info would help
Hi Bob, I just tried your suggestion, but the interactive PDF is in spreads by default, no way to change the setting. When I choose to view by single page in Acrobat, it displays a single spread.
When I choose to view by spreads, it displays 4 pages, two spreads. That's the topic of this whole discussion, I believe. I do own CS 6 at home, however my employer supplied me with CS 5.5. And I have very little, if any, influence on purchasing.
So, I have no good way to make an interactive PDF (with differing recto/verso headers and footers), that is accessible and shows the correct header/footer. It's either single pages (with one header/footer), or recto/verso headers/footers but PDF only as a spread, as well as I can tell.
Unless you know something else I can do...

You don't need a CD to download anything; just download & install the trial from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements, then activate it with your serial number.

Why won't FireFox 4 play mp3 files that have been created since the FF update? It will play mp3 files created prior to the FF update. All of the mp3 files have been created in the same manner, as bounces from Logic Pro 9. Thank you.

Thank you for your detailed question. It sounds like the real issue is pdf files. Are there any antivirus/firewalls that might be blocking this specific file type? or are there any preferences in your control panel that might be blocking this?
Do you have any stored preferences for PDF files in Firefox?

How do I authorize a new computer to my account when all of the other devices have been destroyed?
I have lost all of my original authorized devices and am trying to install and use a new pc. I can get access to my account, but can not seem to authorize the device. How doI go about this?

After you authorize two computers, you'll have the option to deauthorize all computers for your Apple ID. You can deauthorize all computers once a year.
Just like deauthorizing a single computer, you won’t delete anything if you choose to deauthorize all computers. You just won’t be able to play content that you bought from iTunes on those computers. After you deauthorize all, you can easily authorize computers again one by one. Just follow the steps to authorize a Mac or PC.
Here's when you should deauthorize all your computers:

New Customer - All my experiences so far have been...
My experience so far after joining BT from Sky on 12th Aug.
Joined on 12th August - nice lady on the phone tells me she has managed to secure me a Saturday (30/8) appointment for an broadband engineer, other services (phone, tv) will be available on 30/8
I get an email confirming the date the engineer will visit (30/8), and the date the vision box (28/8) will arrive
I get a mysterious empty bag in the post from BT asking me to return fault products, I call up BT on 22/8 to check what the bag is, they say it's a mistake and there is nothing wrong with the order
I take the day off work (28/8) to collect the vision box as it says you need to be there to sign for it
The box doesn't arrive, day off work wasted
I call BT on 28/8 to ask what's up and they say that my whole order has been stopped because the engineer would never go out on a saturday. Not that the order has been attempted to move, or I have had a call from BT to explain the problem, that my WHOLE order (tv, broadband, phone) has been stopped and it is only because I've just called them that I know the state of the order. As such, no services will be available as promised.
I explain that I have no TV, Phone or Broadband and that my wife works from home so this is a major problem. I get told than an expert will call me and take me through the process, however, for some reason this wont be for another four days (1/9) before I am contacted to find another date
I will now have to take another day off for the engineer (my wife doesn't want to be responsible for discussing the installation with the engineer), and my wife will have to buy a 3G dongle (we do not get bt free wifi reception) so that she can still work.
I've only been with BT for 3 weeks now, but I've been let down by silly mistakes, poor service and I'm still waiting in a house without any services.
This isn't the service I expected ... I think moving to BT was a mistake.

I dropped my phone last night, already with a little glass missing at the top. The screen is black with blue vertical lines, I cant even see my home screen I've tried holding the home and power button. Someome help?

unable to get a network
MMaybe it is defective or your phone isnt registered right. Did you contacted the provider virgin? it uses cdma network.

When I imported the photos, I thought I had it set to import them into folders but it didn't happen. I have one file of 10000+ photos in the same folder. I would likede to start over, remove what has been imported (not delete) and start over importing them into folder that I choose rather than all in one.
Okay - but after that..
I followed the instruction in the tutorial and did the following:
Click Import (Existing Files)
Select source - (pictures appear in grid)
include sub-folders if appropriate
Select “add”
File Handling - Changed build preview to standard
Apply During Import - Nothing added
Add keywords - Added keywords
Import (Tutorial says to click “Import” but import is greyed out and not available)
What am I missing? The destination information does not appear. I tried selecting that before I clicked "Import" but that didn't help.. -

Imported (rotated) photos have been chopped please help!
I have imported some photos to the movie I am building, but the ones that were originally taken as portrait style, which I rotated in i-photo (otherwise they would be on their side) have come across with the tops and bottoms missing. Because of the shape of a portrait pic, you cannot avoid the black edges, unless you are prepared to zoom in, thus losing part of the top, bottom, or both. Note that you can also 'pan' a photo, so as to not lose any of the head of a person, for example, but cutting off the lower part of the pic.
All the un ken burns efffected ones I have in my time / clip viewer at the bottom - how do I apply Ken burns to all those?
Select them all (or do this one at a time if you want individual settings), and in the Photos Pane, tick the Ken Burns box, make the adjustments you want, then click 'Apply'.
