Newly created KM Repositories not visible in KM Content Area

Hi
I created a new KM Repository (File system, Business Objects, etc) and the same is not visible in the KM content area.
Our portal version : Poral 7 enhancement package 1 SP 05.

Did you have a look under System Administration - Monitoring - Knowledge Management - Component Monitor. Are the light all green ? If not, check from there.

    i got a problem when i try to access to the Area 'Travel and Expenses' of the portal after logging in.
    The Area should be point to a Page involving 2 IView, one of them contain the visualization of 4 links and the other one pointed to a custom Application.
    If i try to reach the area through the quick link in the main page the Applications doesnu2019t come up and i receive a partial visualization of the page, while if i reach the Area clicking the Tab at the top of the page
    i get the right visualization of the Area. 
    Having a look to the resource pointed to the Area i'm really sure that the PCD is correct.
    Why do i get two different visualization of the same object?

    And sure enough, your video card driver is almost 2 years out of date.
    Please go to NVidia's website and get the latest driver - then follow their directions for installation (so you don't get bits of old driver left over).

    If you created a document through BAPI and it does not appear in the database afterwards, the logical conclusion is that ...
    No it wasn't really created
    With BAPIs for sales order data loading, there is no automatic COMMIT! (check SAP notes).
    You need to add the call to BAPI BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT to save to DB.

  • Newly created task does NOT show up at SOLMAN project

    We have CHARM configured.
    However, the newly created task cannot be seen at SOLAMN's project. The existing tasks showed without issues.

    I have transferred an asset from legacy system . Created teh same via AS91. But the same is not visible in Asset History Sheet

    Hi SR,
    S_ALR_87012048 is an Asset transaction report which is updated only when transaction like (acquisition, retirement, etc) is performed. Values of this report are fetched from ANEP table.
    For Asset history sheet, you can check S_ALR_87011964.

  • ASM newly created diskgroup is not being used by RAC10GR2 Database

    Hi,
    I created new ASM diskgroup by using one of the RAC node through Grid control , it created new disk group successfully , I can see all the diskgroups in Grid control including newly created, but some how data is not moving into newly created diskgroup, all the diskgroups are mounted. Am i missing any post step , please help.

    Hi,
    Data is not balanced accross diskgroups. It's balanced accross disks within a diskgroup. What exactly are you trying to achieve here?

    We are running r12 on solaris 5.10. We have one custom responsibility "KGL AP Superuser".
    Previously we had a option of “Create Supplier” option under KGL AP Superuser--> supplier --> Entry. Now that option is not visible. But It is there is TEST CLONE. How do I enable or visible this in PRODUCTION.

  • Newly created layout profile not showing up in Select Profile window

    Dear experts,
    Background information - NetWeaver 7.0 SP15
    I'm learning customizing KM layout and have created a new layout profile, which is based upon a layout set with a HTML Collection Renderer. However, when I tried to test it by assigning it to a subfolder that I created in BIUserhome folder, I can't find the new profile listed in the Select Profile window. It shows up in selection list, though, if I try to set default layout profile. Can anybody be so kind to enlighten me on this? Would I need to restart the instance in order to see the new profile?

    Hi Patricio,
    Thank you for your reply. My post did not elicit any response until now.
    As I could not have the layout profile coming up, I next tried the HTML Collection Renderer with layout sets. When I tried preview a path with the layout set, the layout set was not used as expected due to some error. Instead, the default layout set took over. I have a follow-up post that describes the issue (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/thread?messageID=804745) in case you may have an idea about the cause.
    Later these issues kind of went away for reasons I'm not aware of. I haven't gone back to set up another profile again yet. But newly-created layout sets are showing up in the dropdown now.
    Thank you for your other advice on using layout sets and layout profiles. I appreciate your input.

    One of employee has created opportunities in CRM and his reporting manager is not able to see the created Opportunity, for this
    We can assume 3 kinds of reasons, like:
    1.     Need to check the status of already visible Opportunities (how it is like: open or in process or release)
    2.     Need to check the Priority part of already visible Opportunities (how it is like: high or medium or low)
    3.     If it has Questionnaire need to check Probability chance of success of visible Opportunities and compare your not visible OPPT,
    With these reasons we can find out where exactly the problem is running,
    From the above information if you get any sort of re solution for your task could you please give me sum Reward points by clicking in your left hand side,

  • LifeTime tab not visible for WPC content

    Hello,
    For any WPC content if we go to Details -> Properties, there is tab called Lifetime where we can set from when to when this content is valid.
    Some how it is not visible for any of my content in my new installation. I am using Portal 7.0 SP16.
    Point will be awarded to resolve this issue.
    Also I wanted to ask does this LifeTime means content should be unavailable after the Expiry period we set here, correct?

    I went to SAP Tech Ed in Las Vegas and came to know that there is bug in WPC for this so they removed this feature in SP16 of Portal 7.0. This is why I was not seeing this after the version update.

  • Group not resizing correctly when contents are moved programmatically

    Hi there,
    My apologies in advance if this is a known issue. I searched the forums but I was unable to find a discussion about this topic. The issue we are running into is when we programmatically move the contents of a Group which is in turn enclosed within a Scroller beyond the Scroller's limits the position of the Group within the stage is incorrectly calculated. This will cause mouseEvents in the area beyond the Group's limits to be "ignored" among other problems.
    I have created an application to illustrate the problem, we are in 4.1:

    Steps to reproduce:
    Click anywhere in the screen - notice that an alert that reads "It works" shows up.
    Click on the "Move Rectangle" button enough times for the coordinates of the Rectangle to exceed the limits of the Scroller, hence producing scroll bars.
    Scroll all the way to the right and to the bottom.
    Click right next to the right bottom corner - notice that no alert is displayed. The reason is the Group has not resized correctly hence we are actually clicking outside the Group. Resizing your browser window for example will cause the Group to resize and events will again "work". FlexSpy will make things pretty apparent as well.
    Any pointers regarding where this bug lives in the source code or suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated, this issue is causing us a lot of pain.

    Reproduced in 4.0.0, 4.1.0
    Confirmed fixed in 4.5.0.19764
    A workaround for the 4.0.0 and 4.1.0 release would be to put the click handler on the Scroller instead of the viewport.
    Note: This bug seems to be fixed, but the fact that the width/height of  the Group doesn't change is still consistent (and correct).  Group has a  concept of size and content size, scrolling is enabled when the content  size is larger than the size (with Group.clipAndEnableScrolling set to  true which Scroller sets automatically).

    You might expect that this example should have a red background behind  the Button, but it does not.  That is because width/height of 100% on  the Rect is 100% of the width/height of the viewport, not the  contentWidth/contentHeight.
    One way of getting the behavior where the Rect expands across the whole content size would be to bind to contentHeight:

    Note: You shouldn't specify or change the size of the viewport Group  inside of a Scroller.  The Scroller component manages the size of the  Group in a specific way and if the Group has a size that conflicts with  that then you can get into a bad situation that might cause infinite  loops.  Notice in my example the viewport Group has no size set on it.

  • Problem with newly created CM Repository NOT showing in Repositories Link

    I am new to the Portal and this is the first time that I have created a CM Respository that is reaching out to a network drive (on a different domain and different server, our Platform is Windows).  Here is what I have done so far...
    1.  Created a Windows file share
    2.  Configured a new CM Respository Manager (Persistence Mode FSDB)
    I did the setup via System Administration, System Configuration, Knowledge Management, Content Management, Repository Managers, CM Repository.
    It said it was created successfully but when I go into System Administration, System Configuration, Knowledge Management and then click on the link for "Repositories" (in the 3rd level navigation) it does not show up?
    I restarted the service and still no luck...
    How do I troubleshoot this???  I am not sure where to begin.  Please be very detailed as this stuff is new to me.

    I tried that and still no luck.  Here is the interesting thing:
    - If I change the DataBase mode to "DB", I get a green light in the monitor and it shows up properly within the Repository.
    - If I change the Database mode to "FSDB, I get a Red light in the monitor and it shows and incorrect path
          "Startup Error: could not create directory:
    172.xx.x.xx\folders\Root\Versions\versions"
          My actual path for "Root Directory" is "//172.xx.x.xx/folders/Root"
          The IP address is correct but where is the rest of this path coming from???
    - If I change the Database mode to DBFS, I get a Red light in the monitor and it shows an incorrect path
          "Startup Error: folder
    172.xx.x.xx\folders\Root does not exist"
          My actual path for "Root Directory" is "//172.xx.x.xx/folders/Root"
          The folder does actually exist.
    So confused...

  • Newly created images will not display in Firefox 8 for Mac. Same images appear in other browsers. Why?

    1. Specific new images are uploaded but will not display in Firefox 8 on my Mac with OS 10.6.8. (Does appear in other browsers, e.g., Chrome and Opera, and appears on Firefox 8 for PC.) Also, other images on the page display.
    2. I have cleared cache, cookies, etc., in Recent History, and restarted both application and computer.
    3. I've tried creating GIF, JPG and PNG, but none show on the page in Firefox on my Mac. I can see the offending image in other browsers such as Chrome on the same computer, and on Firefox on PC.     You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
    *Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
    *Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
    *Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
    *Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
    *Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
    *If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

  • GN_INVOICE_CREATE - Creates Invoice but not visible (for Report RVAFSS00 )

    I am running GN_INVOICE_CREATE using SE37.  I have supplied the data and stepped through the code.  At the end of the execution - I get a successful message stating that the "Document 9000007 is saved".  If I go into VF03 and try to bring up Billing document 9000007 - I get the error message "Billing document 9000007 does not exist."
    I am not sure if i am supplying all of the input parameters correctly to make sure that the transaction is committed.  I cannot find enough documentation about GN_INVOICE_CREATE parameters.  The only information I did find for the input is under the Billing (SD-BIL)->Billing->The General Billing Interface->Function Module Parameter at  http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/dd/5615db545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/content.htm and http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/dd/5615b4545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/content.htm .  But that does not describes all of the input parameters like (VBSK_I, WITH_POSTING, CALLER_TYPE, I_WITHOUT_REFRESH, ID_NO_ENQUEUE, ID_KVORG, ID_NO_DIALOG, ID_NEW_CANCELLATION)      
    Do I need to create a wrapper RFC and call a BAPI_COMMIT_WORK as in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2?  Or am i passing the parameters incorrectly:

    The reason I am going through this RFC is that we are looking at using Report RVAFSS00 to import a file that then runs the GN_INVOICE_CREATE to create billing documents with external transactions as defined in the General Billing interface.

    Did not find the documentation for the fm any where, i think best place to look for is OSS.
    Parameter: ID_NO_DIALOG is for suppressing some shipping related screen and ID_NO_ENQUEUE is for locking sales order or delivery doc.
    By using where used list of the function module, some times it's possible to find out the use of other parameters.
