News App & Subscriptions not Syncing
I use Google Reader. The News application on the Thunderbolt doesn't seem to sync with my read/unread items in Google Reader. It pulls the correct subscriptions down with the correct and most current articles, but it doesn't mark them as read or unread. Anyone else having this problem?
To allow the best troubleshooting of this issue, I recommend contacting Google directly, as they are the developer of this application. You can either do so in the Market by clicking "Contact Developer" in the app itself, or choosing this link.

New apps will not sync--Itunes 11 (win 7)
I installed Itunes 11 on my new win 7 desktop. (I also migrated my old Itunes folder). When I attached the device, it said I had to do a factory reset (I've had this problem since using Syncios on the other machine.) I did the reset and, hooray, Itunes saw the device. I even saw a couple of apps and some tunes I bought wirelessly. The two apps showed up on the device.
But all the apps I downloaded to my computer refuse to budge. Now I am afraid to use the computer with the device again. I can use the device wirelessly, and I think it will download purchases--it did on the xp machine. But maybe I have a wrong setting or something that is preventing the synce. Any suggestions? I would like this to work the way it should. Any ideas?you just leave your auto syncing on
you need to go into your iPad by ' click on the ipad name that appear near the top right area of itunes' first pic
then UN sync music and apply to make your iPad know that no music in your iPad then you Sync music back in again
you see where you can tick an Untick Sync music on the top left there
and the 'Sync 'button at the bottom right area ( 2nd pic ) -
My ipod touch (model A1213) is not syncing properly. I have updated the software to the latest (2.2.1) and have even resored it. Itunes says it is working and updated but will not sync and apps. Error message says that app will not sync because a newer version needed.
2.2.1 is not the latest available for any ipod touch.
Is yours the original ipod touch?

Ok, my son just purchased two more apps to put on his ipad touch. they show up in our library, but will not sync. "Sync Apps" is checked, as is "automatically sync new apps". All other apps are checked and are showing in his ipod touch. These two new ones, will not sync. when you check the boxes for them from the apps screen, i get the "revert" and "apply" boxes appearing. I click on "apply" then it changes to "sync" and when I click that, it goes through the sync process, then unchecks the two new apps when done. of course these two apps have failed to sync. Music sync is working fine. Any help out there?
Are the apps compatible with the iPos e.g. is the relevant iOS version on the iPod (Settings > General > About > Version) and the apps are designed to work on the iPod - an app's requirements are shown on the left-hand side of its description page in the store.

My new purchases will not sync into my playlist and get and will not show up on my iphone playlist of the same name, and I just tried to sync a new cd into my library and it is not showing up on my iphone.

I restored my ipod touch however the apps will not sync. I tried to re-download but I changed my apple id as my old id is no longer a valid email address. Any ideas out there please?
It might be logical to someone, but not to me. I agree it's a pain.
How did you change your Apple ID? Creating a new one is not what you want to do, but if you changed the ID associated with your purchases then that might have worked. You would need to sign in with the Apple ID on both your iPod Touch as well as in iTunes. I'm not sure how you changed it but clearly they need to match.
If it's just your password that is not getting recognized reset it here: http://iforgot.apple.com/
It will send an email confirmation to the email address associated with that Apple ID. The email address you elect to use might not look anything like your Apple ID. If you don't appear to get an email check your spam filter. -
I am trying to add an app to my Ipod touch. It is showing in itunes. I click and drag it to the ipod image, hit apply, and then sync. It says it has synced, but the new apps will not appear on the ipod.
What am I missing?- Is the app compatible with your iPod?
- Do you have any Restrictions set that that prevent installing that app? Settings>General>Restrictions
- Do you have the right boxes checked to drag and drop the app?

Just updated to I Tunes 11 some apps will not sync to my i pod touch. Has others went thur the same problem?
My Ipod touch is about 2 years old running the latest o s and itunes. Before the upgrade all apps were on the itunes but when I tried to drag and drop them the ipod did not install them and both apps are less then a year from their release. These problems happen after the new upgrades

I upgraded the Pages version on my iPad and iPhone some weeks ago. The App has not synced previous data on both AND it's unstable on both. Luckily I didn't upgrade on my Mac where the old version is working ok!
You need the new versions of both to sync data between them. If you don't have the new versions on your Mac, they will not sync.
BTW, the new versions do NOT overwrite the old on Mac. When you install them, the old versions are retained. -
My apps wont open and i keep downloading new apps, hard resetting, syncing and nothing works! PLEASE HELP
Then restore the iPod. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

I Always down load the updates but now I find that my account App does not sync. I cannot seem to be able to revert my software back to the pre IOS 8.0 update.
on the settings page , I am only able to switch off the I cloud drive and not really signing off from the account.

I'm not sure why this is happening, but I think I'm seeing the same thing. Many times when I get an email on the iPad or iPhone with a picture attached, I don't see the picture but instead just a placeholder icon.
I have found a work around though to at least see the picture. If I forward it and include the attachment, I see the picture in the outgoing email. I can even save the image from the sending email if I really don't want to send it. If i do send it to myself, chances are I will see the picture in the email when I receive it even though it's just a resend of the original.

any ideas gratefull received.thanks ffiti for your reply. Unfortunately I don't have a sync apps tick box. Normally i just drag 'n' drop or use the install button and then sync. Anyway I left it last night and switched off mac and ipad. this morning ipad synced the apps perfectly so I am back in business but none the wiser.

You need to restore the pre-upgrade backup of the library file in the manner shown in Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.
