News Sources for Bing API Search (news)

Hi, just curious if anyone can tell/point me to the news sources provided by the Bing Search API news category. Love to know what breadth of providers are included or even the number of different publishers indexed. Thank you!

Hi Matt,
It seems that there is no directly method to get the number of different publishers and what breadth of providers.
The alternative approach is that we could see the news resource form the query result. We just can query the different providers form the news result using our code logic.

N0 you need to create ur own generic datasource for line items - it is not delivered.
0FI_GL_4 reads BSEG and BKPF
where as the new Gl line items is based on table FAGLFLEXA

New Source for acces sequence

Hi Gurus,
I need some help, I don´t know if a new source for Access Secuence can be made to consider client order header fieds.
Can anybody help me with this?
I did create two partner functions that has to be determined by an access sequence that reads the client header fields.
Is this possible?

The problem with submitting a bug report is I don't know how to replicate it.
The java file showed up on the "Referenced Libraries". I removed it from there and it fixed the problem.
If I return it to the classpath via Eclipse it doesn't demonstrate the problem.
I don't know how it got into the classpath to cause this problem. I even tried editing the classpath (which I'm fairly certain was not how the problem was caused) but that didn't replicate the problem.
I didn't check the .classpath to see what the entry was before I removed it via eclipse so I don't know what the entry looked like. The problem wasn't in the version is SVN so I don't know how to find what changes were made.
If you sill want a bug report I can enter one but with out any instructions on how to replicate it.

Retail sources for new Palm Centro (Verizon?)

I recently lost my Palm Centro (Verizon), and would like to replace it with another Palm Centro. Unfortunately, it no longer seems to be avaiable from either Palm or Verizon. Does anyone know of a retail (not eBay) source for the Palm Centro (Verizon) that is not excessive in price (i.e., over $100?). I am hoping to locate a new one. Thanks.

You are looking for a discontinued model, so your sources are pretty much limited to after-market places such as eBay. I doubt very much that you will find any new ones at any traditional retail outlets.

Thanks for your post. I am jotting down few steps to get the Bing search account key (you may have completed many/all of these).
To add Bing Search Service, go to
https://datamarket.azure.com/account/datasets and search for "Bing Search API". After you have subscribed to the service, navigate to "My Data" and click on Use. Click on Show and copy the
Primary Account Key information.
Note if your key contains a special character like / or = then double clicking on the content will copy the key partially.
Make sure you have copied the full key correctly. If the is incorrectly pasted in Siena's Primary Account Key field, you will get the error below:
This is similar to the error you have posted. Since the Primary Account Key is masked you can never be sure the contents are correct. It's best to clear the field and paste the key again.
If you still face the issue, please post your machine configuration (x86/OS) information.

Disabling bing in searching for the url address in Touchsmart browser

I pasted a web address for my email login webpage (https://...) as a website tile and bing looks for it and does not find it. But if I paste the web address in the browser, it finds it fine. I would like to disable bing from searching my email webpage. I woud rather get a 404 notice.

Hi sid700 : No problem just click tools in the in Internet Explorer go down the list and click on toolbars list opens un check mark Microsoft Live Search Toolbar. This will dissable bing search. Another way to make things easer for you is just add your email to your favorites when you have your e-mail web-page open is when you want to save it to favorites. This way you are safer on line to search with Bing then using other search engines. You can able disable any tool bars by following same directions. Havefun.

Web of Trust no longer working with google and bing image searches

Hello All,
I have searched and searched but have not found an answer that matches my specifics. Any help would be appreciated.
I used to be able to do this but now I can no longer search and browse images on google or bing image search and have Web of Trust function. Here is how I am going about it.
What I use:
DuckDuckGo's annoymous google or bing image search link when I enter querries. Also, searching directly from Google's or Bing's image search page doesn't work with WOT anymore either.
Firefox 23.0.1
The following add-on's:
Add-block plus 2.3.2
BetterPrivacy 1.68
Flagfox 4.2.12
Ghostery 5.0.4
Google/Yandex search link fix 1.4.1

If anyone has a fix for this please let me know.

I guess what I learned is that sometimes the best solution is to do nothing and wait for the problem to solve itself! Funny, this has never worked for me before.
WOT is now working for me but often for only the first few rows of images. That's cool that it is also working with bing images.
Boudica, thanks for understanding. I am new contributor/ question-asker here on mozilla and may not understand how things are done. I was just frustrated, getting an email saying that my question was answered, logging in to find that it wasn't.

File Explorer uses Bing to search. - Not live search

Windows is creating searches for words typed into the file explorer path box.
I accidentally typed two words into the windows file explorer address bar instead of a network address. Windows then opened a new tab in my browser and searched for those words with Bing.
Typing "Pictures" without quotes takes me to the users Pictures folder. Typing "Pic tures" does a Bing search for those two words.
Is there any option to change or remove this?
I have turned off Bing Smart Search "Get search suggestions and web results from Bing"

See below if the search engine setting was changed without your knowledge and you can't change it back.
You installed the "Genieo/InstallMac" rootkit. The product is a fraud, and the developer knowingly distributes an uninstaller that doesn't work. I suggest the tedious procedure below to disable Genieo. This procedure may leave a few small files behind, but it will permanently deactivate the rootkit (as long as you never reinstall it.)
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data. You must know how to restore from a backup even if the system becomes unbootable. If you don't know how to do that, or if you don't have any backups, stop here and ask for guidance.
Step 1
In the Applications folder, there may (or may not) be an application named "Genieo". Genieo may be partially installed even if this item is absent. If it's present, select it and open the Finder Info window. If it shows that theVersion is less than 2.0, download and install the current version from the genieo.com website. This may seem paradoxical, since the goal is to remove it, but you'll be saving yourself some trouble as well as the risk of putting the system in an unusable state.
There should be another application in the same folder named "Uninstall Genieo". After updating Genieo, if necessary, launch "Uninstall Genieo" and follow the prompts to remove the "newspaper-style home page." Restart the computer.
This step does not completely inactivate Genieo.
Step 2
Don't take this step unless you completed Step 1, including the restart, without any error messages. If you didn't find the Genieo application, or if you couldn't complete Step 1 for any reason, stop here and ask for instructions.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/Frameworks/GenieoExtra.framework
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.
If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
A folder should open with an item named "GenieoExtra.framework" selected. Move that item to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your administrator password.
Move each of these items to the Trash in the same way:

If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those listed above, move them as well. There's no need to restart after each one. Some of these items will be absent, in which case you'll get a message that the file can't be found. Skip that item and go on to the next one.
Restart and empty the Trash. Don't try to empty the Trash until you have restarted.
Step 3
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including ones called "Genieo" or "Omnibar," and any that have the word "Spigot" or "InstallMac" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Your web browser(s) should now be working, and you should be able to reset the home page and search engine. If not, stop here and post your results.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install this software. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad has a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If youever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Genieo developer has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing, has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight is inexcusable and has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
Finally, be forewarned that when Genieo is mentioned on this site, the perpetrator of the scam sometimes shows up under the name "Genieo support." He will tell you to run the provided uninstaller. As he knows and intends, the uninstaller does not completely remove the malware.

Is it possible to use same data source for two info cube

Hi,
My Problem is in BW we can not have value of material at storage location level.In R/3 also value is maintained at plant level.
Then we searched and we found out one hot to doc for summarized display of stock values on storage location level.
Problem is that we have gone live in last December and we are using " 0AFMM_C02 " and it contains around 1,81,26,000 records. and according to note we have to use
"0IC_C03".
Both the cube uses same data sources for the data.So, how to get the data for "0IC_C03".
and how to delete the data of existing info cube.And is it possible to delete data selectively from the info cube.

Hi,
You can't create update rule from PSA.You can create from the infosource or from ODS or from cube to cube or ODS to ODS.
In your scenario, what you can do is create update rules from the ODS to the new cube and then transfer the data from there. Or from the Infosource create rules to the new data target and then upload the full data and then set up the delta.
Third option is to create update rules from the existing cube to the new cube and then load all the data one time. Then you can deactivate the update rules as that was needed only for 1 time data transfer.

How to examine HTML source for keywords

Hello!
My problem is the following. I'm new on java programming and programming general.
I want to examine a HTML source code after special keywords.
So ive used the URL class to get the html code and saved it in a bufferedReader and then in a string
If i have the following html source i.e., I only want to have the words: Action, Science-Fiction and Thriller. But these words only 1 time, so not the word action i.e. in , but the word action behind it.

My first idea was to usw the stringtokenizer but there is no really universal way to search for some words etc.??

and after this i want to usw the string "thriller" who stands behind it! is this possible??
One of the big problems for me is also that there are no spaced sonetimes between the tags and the string and sometimes there are still spaces.

 From this part of HTML code i need the Genres (in this case: Action, Thriller & Sci-Fi), and the directors (andy & Larry Wachowsky).
My problem is now how to get these data.
the first idea was to get the complete HTML source, disassemble it and then search for the words. You did this in your example code very good. But what can i do if i dont kinow the words for what im searching??
Lets say i know that there are some genres, but i dont know which genres there are??
so i could not really search for thriller, action and so on.
Maybe i should search for the word "Genre:", cause this stands there every time and if i found it, i must pitch on the words behind it.
I think your example code is very good, but he must find somehow not a special word, but a special position or sth. like that.
I tried it by myself in some ways with the stringtokenizer, but regretfully he reaches very fast his limit.

Changing source for HTMLDataSet

Is it possible to change the source for a Spry HTMLDataSet
after the
page loads to a XML data set? I'd like the HTML on a
particular page to
provide the initial information for a product detail page,
but then use
an XML source to provide alternate product info if the user
chooses.

in terms of columns.
What I am trying to do here is construct a product navigator
for a
website that will permit navigation through the products and
manufacturers using Ajax. The problem is that search engines
need to
see content on any given product detail page. My thought was
to use the
new Spry HTMLDataSet to initially populate the navigator with
the
information relevant to the page the visitor landed on, but
to permit
broader navigation of the remaining products via the Ajax
navigator.
The full product list would be too large for a single page,
so this
brings me to the substitution question.
I've set up a poor alternative using ASP and browser
detection for
JavaScript to deliver non-Ajax content to search engines and
the
Spry/Ajax stuff to regular browsers, but your HTML data sets
would be
much, much better.
Thanks again. I've been using Spry in various sites since 1.1
and have
been having a blast - despite having to re-learn my rusty
JavaScript.
