Next best phone to the iphone, but I have to have tmobile/virgin

I'm in a real dilema, I really want an iphone but my O2 (orange/vodaphone) coverage is poor - the best network in my area is by far the Virgin/tmobile
I use apple mail, ical etc and really want something I can link to my imac/macbook. I love the Apps advert on the TV, but would I really use any of them????
So could you please give me a frank view of what I should go with....
I was thinking the google g1, but then i've heard its rubbish with apple sync etc, the Nokia E63 becuase it cheap on Virgin, The Nokia 5800 or pay through the nose and go Blackberry
the features I want is to be able to have what is on my mac, on my phone, access my emails (pop accounts) and googlemail a/c, my ical entries. Would like to be able to access facebook. perhaps place scrabble from time to time. GPS (googlemaps, is that anygood)
Virgin offer unlimited internet on the phone for 30p, but this is then under £9 a month
I call mostly virgin customers and occasionally O2

Well, if you're familiar with and like the way the iPhone touchscreen interface works, it's likely you'll be disappointed by anything else, since nothing yet comes close.
Many phones have some better technical specifications than the current iPhone, but non better it in terms of the user experience or Mac compatibility.

my iphone 4s was updating to like 7.1 or 7.2 and i tried to updating by the iphone but it froze and turned off. and when i tried turning it back on the phone kept going to a screen that said plug it in to your computer i did but it froze at the screen where it says plug it into iTunes. ive tried plugging it in to the computer but the phone turns itself off in the process. my old phone broke so I need to use the 4s

Your iPhone and iPod can share the same iTunes account. Apps can be freely shared and used by one or both devices. You can't use money in your iTunes account to pay for your phone, but purchased apps can be used by both the iPod and iPhone.

I just got a new phone today the iphone 5c and i plugged it into itunes. i wanted to get all of my data from my iphone 4s but when i synced my phone all of my iphone 3 data was on my new phone how do i get my iphone 4 data on my new phone?
Did you choose the wrong back up? There should be a drop box when you go to "Restore from Back up" in iTunes and your iPhone is plugged in, on the Summary page. Choose the correct back up. If you can't find one, and you still have your device, back up your iPhone 4 again and then choose that back up. Or check for an old iCloud back up if you have one.

my new iphone 5 is frozen, with the cord to computer symbol on the screen after failing to finish updating to ios 7. iTunes no longer sees the phone. I've tried rebooting the computer, rebooting the iPhone, but iTunes still doesn't see the iPhone.
If your computer doesn't see the phone when you plug it in, you may have to take it to an Apple Store.

I have an old iphone 2g/3g. However I dont use it as a phone but as an ipod. Since its the oldest version, I tried updating it to the newest version that all the iphones seem to have. I tried to restore it but now it's stuck on the connect to itunes menu. An error appeared with the error #: 1015. What should I do. Getting a new one is not the answer Im looking for. ASk your friend who unlock the phone for him/her.
ONly the carrier that the phone is locked to is authorized to unlock it.
bAse on your description, it sounds like your friend had his/her phone hacked to unlock it from the original carrier. -

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Ios 6 is not available for all iphones. Original Iphone and iphone 3 are not supported.

This is common for most any device/computer. Not all iphone/computer/device models can handle all of the new features. Like any device, hardware is limited and cannot always support all new features and software.
