Next JIT schedule date in Schedule Agreement
H, This is reg JIT - in Schedule Agreements
JIT schedules are created to day 10.02.2010 ..
In Creation profile for JIT, 'Changed or next date' is given & 'Weekly trans' option is chosen
I could see system calculated 'Next JIT sched' date as 15.02.2010 [Next week monday] , it is as expected
I created JIT today and i am not able to release today itself as part of testing solution. Even in production environment cant i release on same day of JIT schedules creation? why so ?
Help Says only those scheduling agreement items with respect to which the creation date is earlier than the current date are chosen for release generation."
I found the issue ...
output message for JIT was an issue
when i see JIT out message type properties for this message, Print parameters field was set to blanck
When i chenged to Purchase Group, it worked ..
Can some one help me what effect it had in generating message, before that message was green but i was not able to genertae JIT schedules

Delivery schedule dates are coming in Past dates
Hi Friends,
In the Scheduling Agreements the delivery schedule dates are coming in the past dates even tough the scheduling agreements are having new schedules. There is also open quantities there for the scheduling agreements.
please kindly explain me what is the delivery schedule date in Scheduling Agreement.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Kannan MHi Khan,
Just check this thease might be the reasons to get correct the delivery schedule.
To access a delivery schedule, mark a scheduling agreement item and choose Goto ® Item ® .
The following data is displayed in the delivery schedule tabstrip:
· Delivery schedule number and date
· A wide range of standard cumulative quantities
· Delivery information
To display deliveries for the delivery schedule, choose Deliveries on the delivery schedule tabstrip.
In scheduling agreements involving external agents, the system displays deliveries made to the customer by external agents as consignment issues.
· Correction delivery information
To display or create correction deliveries, choose Corr. delivery on the delivery schedule tabstrip.
· An analysis function
· Information at a glance
To display a summary of delivery schedule data, choose Short disp. on the delivery schedule tabstrip.
· Schedule lines
Choose DlvSch.Hdr on the delivery schedule tabstrip to access the delivery schedule header. The following data is displayed here:
· Information on quantities received by the customer
· Information on the customer fiscal year and cumulative quantities reset due to a year change
· A wide range of cumulative go-ahead quantities
· Notes on the delivery schedule
Correcting Cumulative Delivered Quantities
Prerequisites
You correct cumulative quantities in scheduling agreements:
· In case of returns
· When there has been a processing error
· When there has been a year change
· When you are transferring initial quantities from a legacy system into the SAP System
To do this, you create a correction delivery within the delivery schedule itself. This delivery is not relevant for requirements planning, shipping, goods issue, or billing.
Correct cumulative quantities only when the customer has not posted goods receipt.
Procedure
To create a correction delivery (document type LFKO):
1. Choose Corr. delivery on the delivery scheduletabstrip.
The system displays a dialog box in which you enter a:
- Correction delivery date
For help on deciding where you want to position the correction delivery, choose Display. The system lists delivery dates in chronological order.
- Correction quantity
Enter a negative correction quantity by placing a minus sign after the quantity.
2. Choose Enter and save the scheduling agreement.
Result
When you save the correction delivery, the system updates the cumulative quantities in the delivery schedule.
To display correction deliveries, choose Deliveries on the delivery schedule tabstrip, or Environment ® Display document flow.
Example
Your customer returns 200 pieces of material from a delivery made on 7/10 because of damage during transport. Several other deliveries have been made before you prepare the correction delivery, so you view a list and choose an appropriate date. In this case you decide on 7/14 because it occurs after the delivery on 7/10 and before the delivery on 7/15.

Trap syntax error in trap-schedule.dat alert; possibly SMC related
Receiving many ID xxxxxx daemon.alert events every hour. The message is:
[ID xxxxxx daemon.alert] syslog Nov 10 14:00:10 trap syntax error in trap-schedule.dat(200) at token '???'
followed immediately (same timestamp) with:
[ID yyyyyy daemon.alert] syslog Nov 10 14:00:10 trap *** aborting execution ***
I coudn't find anything on the web specifically for this message but several hits that looked similar seemed to indicate that this might be a problem in SMC. If it is not I apologize in advance.

I have also read that patching SMC has caused problems for some people so I don't really want to try that until I get some feedback.Hi Mike,
Tried your suggestion to rename the .dat and let SMC recreate it but I can't get the SMC database service to launch. So it looks like I am having trouble with the database. Any suggestions?
To back up, you nailed it with the loss of power - we lost both power supplies on a Sunday night with no warning and nothing in /var/adm/messages (since we send them to a loghost.) It was determined that chips within each power supply in the T5140 failed. So we replaced both power supplies and fired the server up. That is when we started getting the trap errors and only those two errors on clsol8.
I did check http://sun.com/msg/SMF-8000-KS but am not sure how that helps.
What I tried:
On clsol8 as root:
# cd /opt/SUNWsymon/sbin
# ls

Delivery before the schedule line date in scheduling agreement.
Hi All,
I have a situation where in I am using JIT delivery schedule for processing the delivery requirement from customer. In this, lets say, I have a schedule as 08/05/2009 for material A to deliver 1000 qty and the material is made available to me after production as of 07/05/2009 and I want to despatch the material on 7th only and not on 8th. The system does not allow me to do this.It allows me to make a delivery only on 08/05/2009.
Is there any alternative to this and is this SAP standard behaviour.I think you can change the schedule line date in scheduling agreement itself and do the delivery.

Calculation of goods issue date in scheduling agreements with routes
Hello together,
i have a problem with the calculation of goods issue date in scheduling agreements when we use route, because the system ignore the days of transit.
Example:
We had customized the route 4711 with a transit time of 3 days. This route would be related to a scheduling agreement. But this setting has no influence to the calculation of the goods issue date for the schedules. The same happens with loading date and so on.
Can anyone give me a tip, which setting is additional necessary?
Regards
Andreas WalterHi,
check the following settings
1, Route determination Path : IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Routes>Route determination
2, Activate the route Determination for your sales document type in following path :IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Routes>Route Schedule Determination-->Schedule with route schedule for sales document type
3, Maintain Delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling in the following path:IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling>Maintain Duration

How to get GR posting date for schedule line of scheduling agreement?
I had hard time to tie the GR date to schedule lines. I need this information to generate vendor performance report. However, the GR date is tied to scheduling agreement item level only. One item line can have multiple schedule lines. Is there a way to link the GR date to actual schedule line? Thanks in advance!
Hi,
There will be icon called PO history in the over view screen of SA.Select the item and press it.May be this will be some what useful to you.

Scheduling Agreement: validity variation date on schedule dates
Hello everybody
I have a problem and I appreciate your advice .
There is an agreement A which validity date is from 01.01.2007 to 31.12.2007.
And an agreement "B" with validity date from 01.01.2008 to 31.12.2009
After the MRP has been run, It creates the Delivery Schedule based on agreement "A" . But in a specific item, it was created two delivery date which are out of the validity date; those were 07.01.2008, and 12.01.2008
The question is why did the system create deliveries schedule out of the validity date base on agreement A and not based on agreement B? I mean,
Why did the system create this Scheduling delivery date out of the range of validity of the Agreement?
And, In the case that it had taken the validity date from Agreement "B" why did it put it on agreement "A"?
Could you give me any tip or suggestion where I need to verify or check in order to find out the reason why this happened?
I already verify the agreements, the source list and they seem to be ok.
Thanks in advanceHi Adrianda,
The creation of schedule lines through MRP depends upon the Agreement( no "A" or "B" in your case) and the validity period, and the period for which the MRP is run the system will create the SL according to the period for which the MRP has run,as per my knowledge there are no other place you can check,so double check the source list. -
Delivery date in scheduling agreement
If delivery date in scheduling aggrement is 20th and vendor has supplied the material on 15 th iteslf then are we able to do grn on 15th or Not.
Or we should wait for the date 20th.
Thanks,
KiranHi,
If you have maintained Delivery Schedule for Scheduling Agreement as 20.05.2011 and Vendor has supplied materials on 15.05.2011 then you can not do GR on 15.05.2011 since Delivery schedule of Scheduling Agreement are firm and have control over dates.
You need to revise the delivery schedule in ME38 to 15.05.2011 and then do GR. -

SandeepHi
This is the message that you will get while performing GR for a SA line beofre the schedule date.
M7 036 - No goods receipt possible for purchase order & &
Diagnosis
No provision has been made for goods receipts in respect of this purchase order or order item .
Possible reasons for this are:
The purchase order contains no items in the specified plant.
The item specified does not exist.
Currently, the scheduling agreement has no open schedule lines, or the schedule lines have not yet been transferred.
The item category of the purchase order items in the plant does not allow goods receipts.
The purchase order items in the plant have been deleted or are blocked.
For confirmation control for the order item(s) to be carried out, a confirmation ( shipping notification) must have been received. This has not yet been entered.
This message is a standard message and the sytem deterines this automatically for schedule lines.

Step wise config data for schedule line agreements
DEar All,
I need urgently one the foolowing doc:
step wise config data for schedule line agreements.
thanks
regards,
s KUMARHi,
1) Scheduling Agreement is a long term agreement and PO is normally a one-off. When you have long term relation with supplier you will go with SA.
2) SA need not have delivery schedules at the time of ordering. It's like a contract with vendor for all basic prices, quantities & terms. You will release schedules as & when required. This method is very popular with manufacturing ind (e.g. automotive) where they negotiate prices but delivery schedules are given periodically based on their actual production/sales demands.
3) In a PO, you must give schedules in PO itself.
4) If you know contract & release order (or call-off) concept, then SA is like contract and SA schedule is like release order. PO is release order.
or
While using schedule agreement, you will create delivery schedule, when ever you require materials.
Firm and trade off zone in delivery schedule details will be forwarded to your vendor. you can create daily , weekly , monthly schedule lines
Example : if you have created a schedule agreement for product " A " for quantity 1000, and you require material of 100 nos in the first month, you can create schedule line for this 100 only and this will be transmitted to vendor( if you are using LPA you have to release schedule line). when ever you require further qty based on your requirement you will create another delivery schedule line, then it will be transmited to vendor.
In case of PO if you are ordering 1000 qty , you need to specify the delivery date in Purchase order it self, and all the dates are immediately transmited to vendor along with Purchase order.
For configuration steps please follow
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/93/7439fb546011d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm
Hope this will help.

Planning delivery schedule , forecast delivery schedule , JIT delivery sche
Hi
could any one tell me the difference between Planning delivery schedule , forecast delivery schedule , JIT delivery schedule & their respective ways of processing delivery???????????????????????????????????????????????/Hello Friend,
Planning Delivery Schedule:
You want to plan requirements for a certain customer for the next 16 weeks. You create a planning delivery schedule on the basis of information that you have gathered in an internal planning system. A few days later, the customer sends you a forecast delivery schedule that covers only 12 weeks. You decide to generate a planning delivery schedule by copying the schedule lines from the forecast delivery schedule for those 12 weeks, splitting them into units and days that fit your production schedule. For the remaining four weeks that you require, you simply adopt schedule lines from the previous planning delivery schedule in the scheduling agreement.
For another customer, you create a six-week planning delivery schedule on the basis of internal data. When the customer sends in a forecast delivery schedule for the same six weeks, you notice that the first four weeks of schedule lines in the customer delivery schedule are detailed enough for production, but the last two are inaccurate. You decide to copy the first four weeks of schedule lines unchanged into the new planning delivery schedule. You adopt the remaining two weeks of schedule lines from the previous planning delivery schedule, which already exists in the scheduling agreement.
Forecast Delivery Schedule:
For an SD scheduling agreement, a customer sends a forecast delivery schedule containing requests for individual schedule lines. On the SD side, a delivery can be created automatically from this.
JIT Delivery Schedule:
A release carried out at an exact point in time of quantities in a schedule line (of a delivery schedule).
The JIT delivery schedule is way of fine tuning production for the customer and shipping for the vendor.
The term is used predominantly in the automobile component supplier industry.
Delivery in Forecast in done through VL10 & VL01N and Delivery through JIT is done from JITK. -

Can't Delete/Change Schedule Line in Sceduling Agreement
Hi
I can't delete schedule line in scheduling agreement.
Actually The PO History has diff data & Scheline screen have diff data.
In Po History the Delivered Qty is 1520 GI Qty is 1520 GR Qty is 1520 but when I checked in Delivery Schedule screen in ME33L the data is diff.
The Scheduled Qty 1520 Delivered Qty is 1520 GI Qty 360 & GR Qty 360.Even when I am trying to reduce the Scheduled Qty to GR Qty that is 360I am getting message Quantity 360 less than delivered qty 1520.
Kindly help me to resolve this problem.Hi..
The Scheduling agreement is one which is created runing MRP not VA31.
I know that is two transaction data in SAP.
One is Sales Data other one is Purchasing Data.
This is second one.
Thank you your response. -
Redetermined the past due schedul lines in Scheduling agreement
Hi All,
We have an issue with past due schedule lines in scheduling agreement, the details are below.
Delivery date: 3rd Jan 2011 - Order qty is 100 no confirmtion. The system has proposed new date that is 19.01.2010 (System date) with full confirmation. The Scheduling agreement is not relevant for ATP check also. When we check with other plant scheduling agreement, it is not determining any new date, it is confirming on same date.
Different Document types used in two cases, but the config is same in both cases. Not sure why the system is determining to current date with full confirmation. Is there any config relevant to this.
Regards,
Lakshmikanthhi
schedule lines in scheduling agreements = correct & confirmed dates.
that means if you enter the date manually here system confirms that date as schedule line date.
compare those two plants and let me know if any difference is there in between.
check MMR RLT's MRP views
check Lead time in days - document types
check & confirm.
