hi gurus
why next payment run date must be given in parameters tab of automatic payment program
thanks and regards

Dear,
yes but You should create a background job of F110S, where You define a dynamic date variable variant as per Your requirement, by SE36.
I hope this helps.

Payment to Customers via automatic payment run (Just like suppliers)
Hi all,
I do have a client requirement which is described below. Thank you for reading my post and suggesting any solution.
Customers made various payments in the past and those payments were cleared against invoices. During this process which
continues for many years, some customers accounts got accumulated with credit balance. Now the Business has decided to pay them back and to establish an automatic payment program to periodically pay back all those historical over-payments.
Issueing a credit note is not accespted as a solution -
Is it possible to define a new payment method to customers and do a payment run ?
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks & regardsHi
Yes, in automatic program, you can include customers too. There is no need to create a seperate payment method for customers as long as its an outgoing payment.
Hope this helps.

Line Item Sorting in Payment Proposal in F110 (Automatic Payment Program)
Hi all SAP Gurus...
I really need a help here...
In FBZP, I set up 'note to payee lines on the form' restricted to 17 rows. And the sorting for line items, I use 'document date'.
For example, I have 68 open items. When I run F110, in the payment proposal, all the open items are grouped based on 17 items in each group, so I get 4 groups, but they were not sorted by the document date. All the open items seem like distributed to 4 groups randomly.
Could you please advise on how I can sort the line items in each group by the document date?
Thanks a lot!
Regards,
ArmanHi:
Debit balance for vendor means something is to be received from vendor so that it will not be included in payment list. F110 looks for credit line items for postings,. Stand alone debit balances can not be picked up by default since during the payment run you need to net them off first. However if you want to consider debit balance for netting off then, put invoice reference in FB60 , system will club the amount of debit line items with respect to credit line items of that particular invoice. Hope this will help you.

How to make early payments via transaction F110 (automatic payment progr)?
Hi expert,
I am trying to make an early payment for vendor invoices which are not yet due.
How can they be included in the payment run of transaction F110?
I have made the payment run on 16.10.2009 with "documents entered up to" 01.11.2009.
2 invoices were already overdue (due date: 10.10.2009)
1 invoice is only due on 25.10.2009, but I want to pay it today.
I have chosen 26.10.2009 as "next payment date".
The payment program cannot find any data, not even the 2 invoices which are already overdue.
Do you have any experience in this matter?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
LindaDear Belinda,
To make early payment for the invoices which not due yet then just calculate their due dates and make sure "next payment run" is after these due dates then program will make payment for those invoices.
Problem you are facing is system is not considering any invoice for payment. Please enter the payment date in the "documents entered up to".
There might be many causes for this particular problem like documents have payment block, they are not due, no valid payment method found.
So, please analyze the log given on F110 screen and identify the problem. You will probably solve it.....

How to generate checks when executing Automatic Payment Program (F110)
Is it possible to generate checks automatically when I execute the automatic payment program? Will reward points to any suggestion. Thanks!
hi patrick
try this.....ur problem may solve.....
Create Automatic Payment Transactions (F110)
Purpose
Use this procedure to generate checks proposals or ACH proposals and then subsequently issue checks or set up ACH files to be transmitted to the bank.
Trigger
Perform this procedure when through either an ACH or a check, a creditor of the University needs to be paid.
Prerequisites
Open invoices with reached due dates have to be present in the SAP system.
Menu Path
Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:
· Select Accounting Financial Accounting Accounts Payable Periodic processing Payments to go to the Automatic Payment Transactions: Status screen.
Transaction Code
F110
Business Process Information
The automatic payment process will be centrally managed in the Accounts Payable Office. The automatic payment program will be executed each day for all open invoices (across vendors) in the system. There will be separate payment run execution corresponding to each payment method category:
Check payments: clears the open invoices and issues a check output
ACH payments: clears the open invoices and issues an ACH file output
Foreign currency payments: clears open invoices but no output is issued
State/Grant payments: clears open invoices but no output is issued
The process steps executed during the automatic payment program are:
Enter Payment Parameters
Edit/review Payment Proposal
Post Payments
Generate Payment Medium (print checks or create ACH payment file)
Generate Positive Payment File
The payment parameters are entered in order to limit the open invoices and credits selected for payment. It is important to note that the payment terms that are defined on the invoice will drive whether a invoice is due for payment during the current payment run. During the payment program execution, the invoices that are due for payment will be presented to the user on a payment proposal list.
The payment proposal is a list of expected payments grouped by vendor account. Invoices that are due for payment but cannot be paid due to some kind of accounting or system error are listed as exceptions. Examples of typical exceptions are missing banking information (for ACH payments) and blocked invoices. Some payment exceptions will be resolved at the Accounts Payable Office. However the Department must resolve some exceptions. When these types of exceptions appear on the payment proposals, the Accounts Payable Office will inform the Department of the blocked payment in order to get a resolution. Key personnel in the Accounts Payable Office will be the only resources to have access to the editing function of the payment proposal processing. Typically, there is no business reason the edit or change a payment proposal. Editing options for a payment proposal includes: changing the default disbursing bank account information or changing the payment method.
After the payment proposals have been reviewed and edited, the proposals are posted as payments. It is important to note that any open credit on the vendor's account is also taken in consideration when creating the vendor's payment. The payment method supplement defined on the invoice will drive the check sorting.
In addition to the printed check output, the payment program run produces an ACH file and a Positive Pay file. Both files are sent to the bank for further processing. The ACH file contains the vendor's payment and banking data. The Positive Pay file contains the check data (check processed, voided, etc) and is used for confirmation of payments.

Automatic payment program process
Hi,
plz tell me the process of Automatic payment program?
how to execute the program and wht are the steps involved while running this Automatic payment program..?
pls give me a detailed explanation on Automatic Payment Program?
Regards
Ajay..Dear, As found..
Automatic payment program in SAP selects appropriate invoices to be paid based on following paramete:
1. Documents entered upto. The selects invoices entered in SAP system with entry date upto the date specified in the filed.
2. Nex payment run date: The progam selects invoices in SAP system whcih will be overdue or incur lost cash discounts if paid on the date specified in this field.
When executing the automatic payment program (F110 transaction), a proposal run must be always be carried out in SAP system first. The proposal list will sometimes include exceptions.
Common exceptions are:
SAP Invoice contains payment block. To pay this invoice, remove the payment block when editing the proposal list (unless the payment block is one whch cannot be edited during payment proposal) or remove payment block via FB02 for each SAP invoice.
Payment method in vendor master/invoice is different from the one specified in the payment program parameter. To pay this invoice, allocate the payment method in the parameter of the payment run to this invoice while editing the proposal list.
Vendor master does not contain information specified as mandatory in the payment method in teh paramter of the SAP paymement program. For example, depending on the payment method configuration for the country, certain fileds such as city or PO Box must be populated in the vendor master. In this case, delete the proposal run, make the necessary changes in the vendor master and execute the proposal run again.
Typically, Payment program pays due invoices in full. To cater for partial payment via automatic payment program, payment request will be used (optional). Down payments to staff and vendorcan also be made via the automatic payment program if down payment request was posted.
If foreign currency invoice is paid via automatic payment run, the relevant exchange rate type should be selected in the payment run parameter. Exchange rate gain/ loss on making the payment will be automatically posted to their relevant profit and loss account based on the reconciliation account of vendor.
The payment method specified in the parameter of the payment program determines the bank account and the GL account used to make the payment. Also, depending on the payment method, cheques, other forms and payment files will be generated.

Where can do you link the Account payable (AP) to Automatic Payment Program
Hi SAP Experts,
Where can do you link the Account payable (AP) to Automatic Payment Program (APP) what is t - code and what is the table name and Accounts Receivable (AR) to Automatic payment program (APP) what is t - code and what is the table name
Thanks in Advance.
Regards.
SrinivasHi Srinivas,
The link is created when you enter vendor number in parameters tab of F110 and do the run. Here in Parameters you enter the vendor code for which you need to run APP. Based on vendors provided here in F110 Parameter tab, the F110 program checks for the open items of that vendor which are to be paid and selects them accordingly. Hope this clarifies.
Ofcourse in Vendor master under Payment transactions Accounting you have to full the necessary fields like Payment methods etc under Automatic Payment Transactions.
Hope this clarifies

Posting error in Automatic Payment Run
I have executed a payment run (F110). The payment log show a payment document against a particular vendor. But the system has not posted this document.
I checked in FB03 no such document exists. Could anyone help me to find a reason for this please?
Regards,
PrasadHello,
Regarding this issue, there may be some update terminations in SM13
relating to this payments. This is because when you tried to pay this
item, the system attempted to post a payment document. This was not
successful (since the item remained open) so it should have created an
update termination.
In addition, you could compare the contents of the REGUH table against
the contents of the BKPF table, to make sure that every payment
document listed in REGUH was actually posted.
Browse table REGUV and look for cases where the "Number of Payments
Created" (ANZER) does not equal "Number of Payments Posted" (ANZGB).
Of course, I would recommend that your Account Payable application
people report any differences in payments created vs payment posted
immediately (this can be found on the F110 Status screen). Also, I
recommend reviewing system logs using trans SM13 to catch possible
update terminates on a daily basis.
Please also note the following:
1. Use option 'Payment document validation' in the variant of the
payment medium program to create the payment media for the payment
run in which the update terminations occurred. As a result, no
payment media are generated for the payment documents whose update
was terminated. The respective items are selected and paid in the
next payment run, alternatively you can also carry out a manual
payment.
2. If the payment media have already been generated, manually clear the
items for which the payment was supposed to be executed. This
prevents the items from being paid again by a following payment run.
In both cases, you can document the caused document number gaps by means
of report RFBNUM00. Afterwards you can document the update terminations
by means of report RFVBER00.

Advance payment through automatic payment program
Hi,
Plz any one let me know how do we do advance payment to vendor through automatic payment programMake a Down Payment Request (Advance Payment) in F-47 and then run F110.
Following configuration is needed-
In OBYR assign G/L Accounts to a Special G/L Indicator. Assign this Special G/L Indicator in FBZP then run F110. Payment run will take those Down Payment Requests and make Down Payments to the vendors.
The main purpose of Automatic payment program is to post payments to multiple vendors at a time. So it is not advisable to post down payments to multiple vendors using F110. You can post individually using F-48 and clear them using F-54

Hi
One of the User run the F110 on some date and gave vendor numbers from 1 to 99999 with AP wire payment. Finally it showed 11 posting orders generated and completed. When I see the FBL1N for the vendor # 10346, it is showing under open only not cleared.
Could you please advise me what should I do for this.
Regards
MuraliHere are a couple of things that you can check.
1. Go to FBZP and check if the payment method is in the country of the company code in which you are running the automatic payment run (also check in 'payment methods in country' if you have anything in allowed currencies. If you have none, all currencies would work. If you have specified any, it will work only for that currency).
2. FBZP - Payment methods in company code - Check if the payment method is assigned to the company code and in the same option (payment methods per country) check if foreign business partner allowed checkbox is checked in case your vendor's country is other than the country of your company code.
3. FBZP - Bank determination - Check if the payment method is having (a) ranking order and CoCd, (b) housebank/payment method (here again the same rule above applies to currency) is assigned to bank account ID and GL account, and (c) available amounts. Value Date and Expenses/Charges are not important.
Good luck!
Assign points if it helps!!! -

Automatic Payment Transaction (F110) - questions bout Paymnt Doc generated
Hi all,
I have a question regarding to payment documents generated by Automatic Payment Transaction (tcode F110).
After a payment run, some payments are created. But I found that same payment documents are generated over several payment runs for same vendors. And those payments pay for the same invoices.
For example
Run date ____________ ID ______ Vendor ______ Payment
Jan 01, 2009 ______ ID001 ______ V0001 ______ P1
Jan 15, 2009 ______ ID002 ______ V0001 ______ P1
Jan 15, 2009 ______ ID003 ______ V0001 ______ P1
Payment P1 pays for Invoices I1, I2, I3.
It looks like the data is repeated.
When I check tables, REGUH, there are 3 entries and 9 entries in REGUP (1 payment - 3 invoices => 9 records). It also is updated in BKPF and BSEG as well.
The question is: how can I identify which Payment Run (date, id) the payment document belongs to?
I don't understand because i think SAP automatically generates document number, and it cannot be the same for every run.
Please guys, help explain it for me.How does it work in this way?
Thanks in advanceHello
In this process, you will complete a payment transaction automatically.
You should first enter some vendor invoices so that there are enough due payables available in the system. In order to reduce the work you need to do, we have created a CATT (Computer Aided Test Tool) that generates invoices automatically when activated.
Secondly, you will create a payment program and enter the parameters necessary for selecting the items to be paid.
Next, you will execute a payment proposal list and check its log. You will find that some items are blocked for payment. You will need to update the list in order to remove the block.
Later, you will start an actual run. Then you will set the print program so that the payment forms and accompanying payment advice notes and payment summaries are correctly assigned to the payment run. Finally, you will print the payment forms. If you are using North American data, you will then need to analyze the check register.
